Modak is the bomb
An amazing app for teens and parents!
not so well anymore
at first, the app was great!! actually helpful and needed! but now everything cost money. one of the main reasons i got the app was because being able to get chore reminders was free. but now you have to upgrade to modak silver and spend money just to get anything in the app now
Great for kids
This app is so good for kids it helps them manage their money a lot.
Loved it until the upgrade
Modak was the go-to for financial responsibility for your kiddo. It actually incentivized her to do her chores when she focused on checking them off. However, the $2.99/mo minimum upgrade made the the app virtually useless. It’s one thing to paywall certain features (savings accounts, etc.), but you can’t even mark chores without paying a monthly premium on top of paying to fund your digital wallet to fund your child’s wallet. Pass on this, if you can find a company that doesn’t cash cow.

Customer service is unreachable only by email
I'm extremely disappointed with this banking service, and I would caution others, especially families, against using it. Without warning, my account was locked, and I was unable to add more funds, despite not having reached the daily limit. I had been using Apple Pay to add money to mine and my children's accounts, which is a payment method they support. The customer service experience was appalling, with a lengthy back-and-forth process that has left my account locked for 4 days, with no resolution in sight. The lack of communication and transparency throughout this ordeal has been staggering. While I appreciate the importance of account security, this experience has been unacceptable. I urge others to consider alternative banking options to avoid similar frustrations.

we loved Modak and it was an awesome way for me to get chores done and my mom to be able to pay me without a hustle but now they’re charging us for chores and that we do not like

Can you please fix the over due thing and remove it and for challenges make each challenge give you 100 mbx! And people I really think you should get this app it is perfect for your kids

I love this app and the mbx feature! But unfortunately the allowance thing does glitch a lot. It’s not really a problem though because it’s easily fixable.
