Really good
It was a really good app
Was great at the start but not now
It’s great if you don’t run into any issues with their app. My debit card that I used to fund the Jassby account expired, and I have not been able to get that fixed. It’s weird, and customer service is basically MIA.
Not bad, but customer service could have been better
Left bad review before, but they fixed the problem (fraudulent transaction). Otherwise no issues My kids like their credit cards.
It has potential…
I love the idea of this app. It could be great, but it’s just not. When it is working, I love it. But it seems like every other day or so we have to email bc our account is disabled (we can’t just fix it ourselves), or it won’t log in for one reason or another, or it we can get in “an error occurred”. If these bugs or whatever is wrong is fixed I’ll update my review. But until then, just two stars.
Looks great at the onset
APP is hard to navigate. I have tried adding a family member six times. Now it’s saying the email is already in use for his card. But it didn’t add him as a family member. Also, I can’t find the code for my banking to recognize the account. It isn’t clear cut.
Love this
They did a great job with this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thiefs
Evil Corrupt theifs closed my account in 1 day after I opened it and took almost 800$ from me reason claiming “Inactivity” how could you be inactive if you created the account hours ago? They will not give you anything back It’s absolutely disgusting and disgraceful makes me sick to my stomach I am Warning every one to not use this company or service
Issues
We never received the credit cards. No way of telling them that on the app.My daughter ended up locking herself out and cannot get logged into the family account. Constantly having issues with not being able to use the funds that she has
Review
Great app useful thru out teenage years
Do NOT Download
Horrible Once I upload money into the account I have been unable to log back In !!!!! Please Do Not Download
I really, really need this app to work
I want to love or at least like this app. Despite the fact that I’ve connected my bank, I continually receive error and warning signs that tell me I need to choose a funding source. The user interface is just not intuitive, so I can’t do simple things like have it pay my kids, much less tie the money to chores. Grrr. And there’s no support. Meanwhile, I get “Greg from Jassby” emails about dinner recipes in my inbox. What?
Good
Just a great app
Impossible to use
I cant ever use the debut cards with this account. Our transactions are always declined.
Personal info
I haven’t even used this yet because there’s no way to add any credit card, only connect to your debit card, which I don’t want to do. I prefer not to have any apps connected to my bank accounts in any way for obvious reasons.
Works great
Definitely a great app, we signed up and had 0 issues with transfers or customer support. Highly recommend
Poor Service
Shortly after I loaded the account I was told my account was suspended and was asked to provide some documents to verify my identity. No big deal, this happens with other banking apps I’ve heard. I submitted the documents and was told my identity was successfully verified, but my debit cards still didn’t work anywhere and I couldn’t add to Apple Pay. Asked for help adding it and provided screenshots, they responded by shutting the account down. Makes it easy in determining if this is a good app to use for my family or not (spoiler alert: it’s not).
Accounts have very limited use
After I loaded $50 to my kids account. My son tried to use his virtual card with Apple Pay and it didn’t work. You can’t use the debit feature in the store because they don’t give you a PIN number. When I asked customer support how to obtain a PIN number they said they are working on providing those soon, but the cards currently don’t have that option. I have never heard of a debit card without a PIN number.
Jassby is exceptional
Jassby is an exceptional debit card for kids that makes managing allowances a breeze. As a parent, I love that I can instantly transfer funds and set spending notifications and limits all from their user-friendly app. Within minutes, my daughter had her stylish card ready to swipe or tap. She immediately started using it to pay for her snacks and activities with friends. The real-time notifications give me peace of mind always knowing her spending. An added plus is that Jassby has partnered with some of her favorite brands to offer discounts and cashback rewards when she shops with her card. Overall, the Jassby debit card provides an unparalleled experience for parents to conveniently manage allowances digitally while teaching financial responsibility. I highly recommend Jassby as the perfect first spending card for tech-savvy kids.
Low security
My son’s card got hacked and jassby did not seem to pick up on it the outrageous charges. I do not recommend this app. to anyone. It is safer to set- up a kid’s account through your own bank
Good idea, flawed execution
Great idea, but the execution and functionality aren’t there yet. It’s unclear when signing up which account comes with the debit card and which one doesn’t. The shopping for the Preferred Account (the non-debit card one) is more limited than the writeups lead parents to believe. Customer service is slow to respond via email, which is the only way to contact them. Really love the saving option, which helps parents teach kids about budgeting, saving, and giving. The auto pay each week works great. The chores are a super idea, but the descriptions of the chores don’t save, so parents/kids have to re-enter each time. Also need a way to create our own chores instead of relying on “other” I hope they can make a go of it, since the idea is great! But clearer communication, more functionality, and faster customer service will be essential.
great app
I personally love this app it helps me keep track of my money
Terrible
I will not be continuing with this card.
Nice
Nice app i kept losing my card tho
App is a pain in the rear to use
Won’t let me change the display name for my kid because lo and behold we have the same name and I have no clue which one of us are going to get a card. I don’t need a card for myself and so I don’t want to spend $10 through trial and error.
Easy to use
I will recommend this to all my friends and family!!
Terrible
For something that was solicited as free service during a test with World Strides to make things easier for our child’s travel, has been nothing but difficult. They don’t answer emails, there’s no phone number to contact and so far I’ve been charged service fees for something that I can’t even get to work. Not a fan of companies that have electronic only communication, this is terrible customer service at best and we will not be continuing this said “free” but hasn’t been “free” service as soon as she gets back. If her card ever starts working and she gets to use any of my money we’ve put on it at all. Signed not a fan of Jassby
Just what I needed!
Easy download, and sign-up process! We can easily see the balances of all our accounts. The virtual debit card worked at our favorite spots. I’m excited to start using more of the advanced features.
Trouble
Can’t delete users. Can’t edit accounts.
