A few bumps
For the past 220 days, I have seamlessly integrated Mental into my morning routine without fail. Every day, I let my dogs outside, come back in, and spend about five minutes reflecting on the insights I’ve gained from the app. On day 217, I experienced a setback when my progress reset to zero even though I listened to it like always. Initially, I was disappointed and considered giving up. However, I’m proud to say that I’ve now maintained my commitment for 220 consecutive days. Despite that reset, I refuse to let a number deter me from using such a valuable tool. Throughout these 220 days, I’ve encountered some of the same daily deuces multiple times—some even three or four times. While this might seem frustrating, I believe the repetition is beneficial. The time invested in listening has significantly impacted my mental well-being. As a man navigating today’s challenges, I find it incredibly rewarding. As an elder millennial, I was raised to bottle up my feelings and trust very few, yet society portrays a certain image of masculinity that often equates vulnerability with weakness. Mental has provided me with a space to shift my mindset and cope with some of the toughest moments I’ve faced. In conclusion, despite the app's flaws—like hearing the same deuces repeatedly or the inability to restart your protocols, and the wipe away of my streak. I wholeheartedly give it five stars. I believe every man, boy, and elder should incorporate this into their daily routine. Thank you for your dedication, and please continue to support men across this platform.
Not as advertised
This says there is a summary section of session notes after each session. After each session, it says it’s computing and will be available in therapy tab. NOT in tab. NOT anywhere on any of the tabs. APP SUPPORT just sends you back to your main page when you select and request help. There is NO TECH SUPPORT OR GUIDANCE FOR THIS APP. The FAQ page doesn’t even give you an option to ask or narrow it down. It just gives answers to other people’s inquiries.
Should be a 5 Star
Have been using this app for about a month and it has been helpful. The issue is the software has too many bugs. You will be in a middle of a session and it stops. Sometimes it doesn’t finish the summary. You spend 15 minutes and have to start over. I suggest a compete review because this has to be a common occurrence for many.
Good app
Seems legit it asks pointed questions and follows through. I didn’t know there was a way to make me feel worse about myself but this app managed it.
Updates?????
There really has to be motivational talks for cold plunges. I’m past showers and need help getting through 3 min plunges. There needs to be updates on the cold therapy end of the app

Can’t speak to the app itself, just wasn’t for me. Nearly impossible to cancel trial. Been waiting 2 days for someone to contact me to verify I won’t be charged..
Great App
This app is fantastic for so many things—breathing exercises, pushups, managing stress, and even supporting mental health. The only thing I’d change is the billing option. I’d be more likely to subscribe if there were a monthly payment plan instead of an annual one.
To cancel is stressful
Made the mistake of doing a free trial. To cancel is stressful they have different instructions for every way to sign up. The thing that is supposed to help you does more damage with the subscription canceling .
Great, but….
Need to fix the camera issues for the pushup challenge, hitting a button to add a rep is not an option, when both hands are glue to the floor and also having to look at the screen making sure it counts a rep isn’t great for keeping yourself in the zone.
Enlightened
I thought it was spotty when it named my unconscious desires. But it finally made a connection to what help me feel free. To notice the patterns, even therapy hadn’t helped with. It takes while for a pattern to develop, but overtime it will lead you realize things even therapy hasn’t lead you to.
Garbage
Do not waste your precious time, energy, money, patience, or resources on this app. Total overpriced garbage, you can do much much better using the free version of ChatGPT. Also, be forewarned, you will not get a refund when you request one. App is faulty, and doesn’t work. Spare yourself the heartache, headache, and troubles.
Not working today for me or my son
Great app but there is a problem with it , The app is not working today or on my sons phone, I assume the servers are down and no one can access this please fix this
Can be dangerous
Be very careful with this app and take everything with a grain of salt. It sometimes doesn’t know how to differentiate between seeking support and external validation. This can be very dangerous for abuse victims where it will tell you that telling someone about something is a form of you seeking external validation and pathologises you. A real therapist is a MUCH MUCH better option but I know a lot of people can’t afford one including me which is why I’ve used this app. Just be careful please.
Good app but needs fixing
This app is very good but there’s one big problem with it, I recently did the free trial for the Mental pro membership and I cancelled it and it expired on the 1st of July but on the 2nd of July I can no longer access the app, when I try access the app it shows the mental loading page for age I tried restarting my phone and deleting the app and it still won’t load in it shows the trademark and then goes white, please fix this so it doesn’t happen to others as I was really looking forward to using this app on a day to day basis, thank you

Not a good way to get someone to trust you when you can’t even lay out your website to cancel Honestly it’s been almost a year since I first got scammed and now I’m just triggered again this kind of business practice is unacceptable

I’ve had this app maybe a year and it was flawless. But this new ai therapy is trash. It was much better previously.

What does 60 dollars get you? Not a lot. Little daily forced relevance snippets. I like the concept, so signed up for a trial. Found little use for it after one day. It has a coaching process for cold exposure. But I already do cold exposure. Also, it’s basically a stopwatch. The ai is kinda neat. Which you can do without the app. I don’t see the point. Customer service is non-existent. Can’t get a refund for going five minutes over the trial period. But it seems like this is the whole business model. Update: I wrote to support as the developer response pretended to offer. They told me sorry, nothing can be done. Have a great day. So that response was just lip service. Terrible business from front to back.

You need it
Helped me so much. Seeing a therapist once a week is great and I still do that…but I got problems everyday!! Not every week!! This helps me get things out and work on them the same day instead of letting them bounce around my head for a week. Even if you’ve never done therapy, this is absolutely the move.
HARD TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
Just make sure you find out how to cancel it before going for it. They will get your card number and won’t make it as an option to click and cancel. You need to email them with a number and they don’t have a good customer service.

The recipe for therapy is this: Brutally honest vulnerability + willingness to face your flaws and fears + taking action to apply the feedback and knowledge = a favorable position and direction in life. Doing that digitally is no different. There is an advantage to the AI have a perfect memory to make connections from all of your previous discussions. I have felt seen and understood and I’m using the feedback to improve myself.
Annoyingly deceptive
It gave me like two great sessions with the AI like talking to it like I actually ended up talking to it for her over an hour. The first time it was awesome, but then it locked the therapy and only after I paid for a full year could I unlock it! For whatever reason, even trying to do the free trial, it kept saying my card was declined.
Easy to open up
It’s hard sometimes to open up and get raw with a person setting in front or behind you writing notes so with this mental app it makes it so easy to just spill it knowing there’s no judgment or embarrassment and it’s so much easier to tell the truth and not minimize things you have done knowing you will have a better, more accurate session when the truth is revealed more so than one where there’s half truths or down-right lies. I am at complete ease with this app. And Also knowing that you are talking to something that has more wisdom than any human helps tremendously.
Stole money
I was charged 3 times and I can’t get a response back they are stealing money
