🫡 very good
Paywall
1 star. It's so depressing how they market the app as "free" but right after the first lil quiz thing they Don even let you access nothing. Like not even a free version you Don gotta pay for
Bugs
Even after the update, the bugs are still there. I’m tryna check my tasks off and it’s impossible because the app keeps on crashing, so I missed the day.
Fix subscription???
The app is great and i was having alot of fun doing quest but my trial ended on the 14 so i ended and deleted the app on the 13 for good measure but it still took 50 dollars out of my account that i was going to buy my sister a gift with. so atleast try to see what was wrong with it. i know i cancelled it because when i went to my subscriptions it said ended with my other ones.
Task Pre-Done?
Recently when I begin my day, all my tasks are checked off as done and I don’t get the welcome screen. This started as such a cool app but consistency is lacking and bugs are rampant. Kind of disappointed and makes me less excited to use the app. Thanks
Very informative.
The onboarding process carefully selects a profile with statistics with a short quiz, and was backed by lots of articles, apparently.
Acting like it’s free
The app wastes your time with fake logistics to get you to buy their monthly / yearly plan in the end. Has you write out and promise to change your life around but everything is at a price. Wouldn’t be a problem if it was up-front from the beginning about a paywall.
My day streak reset
Hello, Everything is good but sometimes the day streak resets for no reason, I had a 177 day streak and I did all my tasks too and it rest, now I lost all the XP boost and day streak.
Awesome app BUT
This app is great and really helps me but they need to have a free version. For example I cannot even get in if I no longer am subscribed - I do not need all the extra stuff but screen control on apps and read a couple of pages on books. Really a let down due to that
Pretty buggy but has potential
This is a cool way to track habits. I especially like the hero mode but the problem is it doesn’t save the name you assign to your hero, no cosmetics, items don’t seem to really do anything and at some point the app runs out of visuals for both the items and monsters you fight and just shows you a blank card saying you won. Also the notifications need work. It will often spam you with reminders for habits or tasks you didn’t even sign up for, there’s also no way to change what time the reminders go off.
App
Really good app
DONT USE ITS A SCAM
The developers scammed me. They said it was a free trial and when I bought it it charged me 50 USD. I emailed them for support they basically said they can’t refund. Disgusting scammers.
Great platform but the update on the day check off. . .
Love the platform but some of the updates are awful. They just pushed a new one which divides the tasks for the day into parts of the day with no way to opt out and they split the tasks you log progress on from the main list. Overall it’s more complicated and messy and more like some other habit apps I left for those reasons. Not a fan on the new layout and want an opt out.
Great app but lots of bugs
I do like this app but there’s a lot of issues. Constantly seeing my multiplier score go up and down randomly despite there being no break in my streak. When creating a new program there is no quick and easy way to set 3 specific days to all 10 weeks at once. Instead you have to select each week individually and set the days. Current program says I’m on a 15 day streak each though I’m only on day 3 of my new program. Had to contact support to have an another bug resolved. This could be a great app if it irons out it’s glaring issues
Unsure about this app
Loved this app to start, for 48 days. Had subscription and all. Seemed promising. Loved the aspect of looking what loot my character had coming back from a battle. Then the bug happened which lost my streaks. Had that fixed but more and more bugs keep happening and updates say they fixed them but they haven’t. I JUST updated the newest one and bug keeps happening. I keep editing a task that was relentless with a specific way it wanted to be done and it kept reverting back to the way I didn’t like it to be. So at that point I decided to just get rid of the task from my plan. And that worked for a little while. Now the tasks will not go away no matter how i delete it. then I could no longer see images of the loot my character came back with and it just ruined it for me the longer it went on. I thought the newest update would fix that with other bugs but no matter how many times I log out and restart the app it’s still happening with the task and now I feel the whole interface is just complicated to get to certain things like resetting timer for blocked screen time and meditation. Now I can no longer find a way to look at my loot if it’s still even part of the app. If it’s not I’m just giving up on it. That was the part that drew me to this app for me to stay. 3 stars was me being generous cause I liked how it was before the relentless bugs. Habit legends has no subscriptions, keeps you pulled in with a story line and MUCH MUCH more flexible with editing tasks.
Complete Life Reset
Amazing app life changing!
Wouldn’t recommend for neurodivergence. 🤷🏾♂️
Wouldn’t recommend for neurodivergence. 🤷🏾♂️
Good intention
I like this app but it glitches out every now and then. It fills out tasks i havent done yet. I like how it has some prompts like missions and hero mode to make you more engaged. But what gets me upset is when I want to fully reset it still keeps the tasks marked as completed.
No to subscription
I went through the survey to find that it’s a subscription based app, and for that reason I’ve decided to uninstall it. It should be changed to a reasonable one off payment. You would get more people using the app that way.
Not bad.
Would love to add general task like gym and create custom task for anything specific. I enjoy crossing things off the to do list. Not a huge fan of the anime theme. To each their own. But would enjoy other themes and colour customization.
Problems with completing tasks solved
Finally I can mark and complete my tasks! Thank you for fixing freezing and bags💖
Mid App
Using AI for every page of an app meant to help humans was.. a choice. Weird typos and words missing feels careless. The sheer influx of notifications does not convince me to get back on the app. Also, trying to force a subscription (that you *can* stop immediately in the App Store) is a strange choice. Just pay humans to do work, because AI is not very helpful for human brains that could use help.
Great app, but the check button sometimes doesn’t respond
I really like this app because it helps me stay consistent with my daily plans and goals. The concept is great and it motivates me to improve every day. However, I’ve been having an issue with the check button that marks a task as completed. Sometimes it doesn’t respond when I press it, and I have to try several times before it works. I hope this can be fixed in a future update because the app itself is really helpful.
Not enough customisation
Sadly, I want to say that I love the app and I do hold my hands up and acknowledge I should’ve done a bit more research, but I thought I was going to be able to implement my own tasks to achieve but it’s all predetermined by the app. I do think for the price you should be able to do a lot more than what this app has to offer. I feel like it’s still fleshing out more and has potential, but for now If I could get a refund, I would :(
Sounds interesting
What do we do for running if someone has issues that prevent running? Options for cardio would be great. Instead of “running” why not just say cardio?
Inspiring
To convert my life into a real life anime has motivated me beyond my expectations
Pay wall
There is a paywall to use it and I’m young so I don’t even have money.
3 month review
I’ve used this app for the full 66 day routine schedule and greatly enjoyed it! The warrior/ character mode is a bit buggy and can use some updating but besides that this app is awesome!
Reset the app in 66 seconds
After the lengthy onboarding I got kicked out the app and pushed back into the same onboarding
Good app that needs some polishing to reach its potential
After some indecision I went ahead, payed and just jumped into this app. My goal was to pick up healthier habits, a more organised structure to my day and to have fun facing the challenges. After a week using the app I can see its pros and cons: Pros: - Great visuals & animations - Solid concept - Tasks that push you out of your comfort zone to better yourself - Good selection of in-app tools Cons: -Static Tasks that ramp up too quickly For me the programme ramps up a bit too steeply by default. Going from not tracking water intake, not running or working out at all on upon stating to running and working out as much as the tasks demand I do by like week 3 seems too much too fast. I was hoping the app in standard mode would start me on smaller tasks and steadily build that mindset & capability up but each week but instead it just throws increased times at me as if I’ve not struggled and doesn’t seem to adapt my tasks when I’ve only partially completed them (an indicator that I’ve struggled and kinda need the next week NOT to be like 15 mins extra time and 1 day more frequently for seemingly no reason other than ‘deal with it’) Those with long term issues like old knee injuries etc could benefit from a better thought out increase and task adaption and even varied tasks like another user put in their review. In 66 days you might not be running 7km and working out for like 1.5 hours 4x a week this way but with better default increases to tasks it surely will see users build that strong well of resolve to do as much as that. - Some awkward UI The tasks ramping up wouldn’t be as much of an issue as you can customise the programme if not for the UI Editing the programme can be can be clunky and awkward. You seem to need to re-customise the programme after each weekly review and it doesn’t seem to apply the changes you made for the first day if thats when you made the changes. (Today I’m tasked with drinking 3L of water instead of the 2.5L a day I set, but the rest of the week is correct. - Spelling & grammar I could understand some issues in early versions but from what I payed for the year I really would expect words like ‘Strength’ to be spelled correctly and wouldn’t expect the sheer amount of spelling and grammar issues there are in the app. Overall though a good app with some great potential once the issues are ironed out. I would also love to see a restore default programme button in the mean time to remind me what the app intended for me and where I’m at. But since I imagine the users are all here for growth I think it’s fair to give the developers a fair chance to grow the app too.
Life saver
It’s just brought my overall confidence up. Helps my relationship and helps me. Good thing! :)
Ten minutes in and have not finished the set up
Still waiting to see if you hit me for a fee to use the app. If you do it’s getting deleted.
Needs free trial
Very cool idea. App is simple easy to navigate. Needs a lesser monthly plan or a 7 day free trial. Money is guaranteed back but a lot of people don't want to financially commit into something they don't know what the app is actually like, especially for $24 a month.
Cool but not helpful or customizable
It doesn’t let you build your own habits it’s built on a very “bro” approach. If you don’t want cold showers not for you?
The app needs to be smarter
I already workout 6x a week and want that to be the automatic minimum for each week also the workout time increases each week but I only need to do an hour
A nice app that keeps making improvements
This is a fun app that has many challenges I look forward to seeing what new changes are to come
Buttons not working
I love this app and follow it daily to work towards a better me since I like the visualization of achieving everything that day but over the past week the buttons to say you completed the task stopped working on my iPhone. I will change back to 5 once it’s fixed.
Good Habits
After taking the chance and spending the money I found that I really enjoy this app, it’s good for creating habits and includes you in a community that is really uplifting and encouraging
Great idea on paper
All in all the app is a brilliant idea, but unfortunately, something that it seriously lacks is usability and understanding. The customer support section doesn’t work And when I had been approximately a week into my first program, I suffered an injury which meant that I could not carry out some tasks. I was happy to restart but unfortunately the program restarted and my streak didn’t… so this means that when I start a new program, the streak continues from my previous program and doesn’t align with the progress. On top of this, the meditation app doesn’t work within it and there is no clear indication as to what time these tasks have to be completed by. Due to work commitments sometimes I cannot carry out some of these tasks until later in the evening which is at teams as not good enough and Restart my program.
Not free
No free version but looks good
The best
Im not a bot or nothing most of these apps are basic and ask 5 broad questions and builds something barley set for you or requires a lot of time or money and I took the questions and it asked a lot and tailored it to me
Begger
Wanted the review before I even tried the product that’s backwards…. Might change my rating if it works out
Great app, new update is frustrating though.
The app is amazing and pretty customizable, hard mode has made it pretty tricky some days to progress but that’s part of the journey. The new season rank beta frustrates me though. Since it launched the day streaks no longer show up, day 66 & current rating no longer make any sense. The reset rating was one of my favorite features and now that it’s all over the place I’ve lost a bit of interest. Also the Xp tracking and gaining makes zero sense as well.
Can’t continue
The screen just wouldn’t move after it said that the analysis was complete, nothing popped up and there was no option to continue
Can’t add your own tasks
I have not used the app for more than a day so I cannot say how useful it will be yet. What I can say, for an app designed to help one improve their own habits and reach their own goals etc, for it not to provide a way for someone to add their own tasks seems like a big oversight. Will this feature be coming in future updates?
Great App!
Life changing
art
ai images plague the app, id rather see real anime style art from a real artist or like some designs from a graphic designer. overall the ai generated stuff comes off tacky
Good app but needs some work
I love the app it’s really helping me do things I’d never do before but you guys need to add more tools and let us customize our own goals so that they can get randomized with the other ones and possibly make some new preset ones
Not that useful
Doesn’t allow for customization of what you want to plan for what days. no calendar integration. No workout app integrations. Basically just a checklist app. If I could have a refund that would be nice.
Good app. Bad experience
When you first open the app you can tell that it is designed to tailor your individual goals which makes sense for a self improvement app. However I don’t know when or how I was charged the £25. I saw the add in social media right after finishing the anime and thought it would be funny to see what the app was. But I’ve only opened it once and that money ain’t coming back. Despite my personal experience it’s a great app with really cool features.
