False reporting
It falsely said that it scanned one of my tags at 11:15 pm and my family called me immediately in a panic and worried. Both of my tags were atleast 30 ft from any device capable of scanning them at the time this occurred
Doesn’t sync with Apple Health
UPDATE 16/08/26: After not having used this app in a while now out of frustration, I rechecked the Apple Health sync and it is now syncing my records correctly. Thank you. Support response time is slow and two weeks later, I’m no closer to properly utilizing this service. I’ve gone around with Support, now they want to escalate it to engineers. I’m an IT engineer myself with a brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max on iOS 26. The product should work as intended, not be an exercise in frustration for the end user.
Wasted my time
First of all when I purchased the watch band id there was no mention of costs. Irritating but not a deal breaker. Inputting health information.is however. The rollers for correct dates for onset do not work. Everything I have apparently has an onset date Dec 1969. Unable to change year. I gave up Now I have a useless id band on the way Paid for nothing!! When will I learn
A Few Issues
First, it does not fit on a standard size Apple watch wrist band. Second, although you can list medical conditions, there is no place to list prescription medications.
Necessity for Medical
Definitely enjoy the product. A one time fee would be nicer for accessing many of the functions. An App in Garmin and or link with Fitbit would enhance product
Doesn’t Work
I can’t get the promo for my Pin and ID to work at all.
First Thoughts
Entering or importing data is fairly straightforward. Need to have a print and an export feature for lists, e.g. Medications, physicians and illnesses. Also needs a Save feature for lists.

False Information
We purchased the lifetime MASA package & got sleeves. I input all of our info including contacts & meds. We were told this info is for our lifetime & now you are wanting to charge a monthly fee! That’s not right!!
Good App
I found the entering of my meds and supplements to be quite taxing on my old brain until I had entered about half of the long list of Daily and As Needed List. Then I found my rhythm and finished the list - not quickly, at least smoothly. Overall I think the app is good and will be helpful later. Thank you!
App Not Working As Expected
The app does not sync to my Apple Health app. If not fixed I would like a refund of my annual subscription.
Date adding needs work
You need to work on the ability to add dates it keeps resetting in the middle of trying to get to the correct date.

I was hopeful that this would work for me. I purchased a key fob and 2 wrist watch bands. After downloading the app, I discovered that you have access to all of the pertinent info, I need to pay for the subscription. That is completely RIDICULOUS. Also, it takes forever to input meds and diagnoses. If you have multiple autoimmune conditions be prepared that you are going to have to list most as *other* due to their drop down menu and database being limited.

Limited choice for procedures
One of the main categories for recording medical events is called procedures, but it’s quite limited and doesn’t include many types of surgery and many non-surgical interventions that you might want to keep track of. It won’t let you list anything that’s not one of its pre-populated identified procedures. This list of procedures really needs to be more comprehensive.
Can Save a Life
Having the app and bracelet can easily save your life if you end up in the ER unconscious. I have weird medical allergies and it’s peace of mind.

Difficulties Updating Docs
I really appreciate the usability of this system but have been having trouble updating my stores documents. It keeps throwing up error messages. Haven’t had that issue before so I don’t know what changed.
Wallpaper
Not sure why the barcode feature for wallpaper is no longer available. For me, it was one of the best features of the app.
Price went WAY up
People that need this the most have heavy medical issues and thus very high medical expenses. They raised their price from $20 to $30!!! You just proved to me it’s all about the money NOT the patient. I will be going back to Medicalertbrand for this. Sad to see this happen!

I remember this app having a section to add medications. I can’t find it. Has it been deleted? This is one of the reasons I bout it.
Essential Features now a Repeating Cost
I've been using this app for years now because it's impossible to fit my medical alert needs on a bracelet. It's been a fairly intuitive system; however, one of the key features I rely on, MEDICATIONS, was recently put behind a yearly fee. This, along with communicating medical conditions, is the primary function of a medical alert bracelet. Putting it on the other side of a yearly fee /on top of/ the expense of getting the alert system set up? That's betraying the customers that came to you to avoid having that constant pocket drain. I have been recommending you for years, but now I will be getting out of this money drain before it bleeds me dry.
Some issues
Love the app The only issue I have is there are too many choices in the disease area . I can find issues close to mine but not exactly so had to resort to use the OTHER option which is not as good The choices seem to geared more toward medical professionals and not the patients ,who are the ones filling it out
Used to be great…until you had to pay to share vital information
Over the years this app has been very useful for me. With the recent update though, I cannot share my medication’s with emergency responders for free. This is a huge issue as some of my medication’s inhibit my ability to have certain types of anesthesia, which is incredibly important to know an emergency situation. This is a silly thing to make your customers pay for and is a basic feature of a lot of other apps. This could cause people to have serious issues and get seriously hurt if they can’t afford to pay, this is greed at its finest. I can understand wanting to pay to find physicians or other extra features, but making people pay for something as basic as sharing their meds is crazy.
Cost
My renewal is coming up & trying to decide what to do. Reading the reviews & the company’s reply is computer automated. That is sad & means a lot when a serious product is not getting a personal response. I agree cost is too high. In this time of high cost of food, HOA electric etc vs having medical info fast is challenging.

Unable to update info
Unable to update medical information. Scanner reads ID & PIN #s but displays error message saying the band is invalid.
Bugs need to be fixed
Bugs need to be fixed. Was told it may be several weeks. Need medication list and use and pay for subscription and now medications are showing up as other with no names of previously submitted info.
Formerly useful
I used to think this was a great app and I made sure to have my sticker on my phone and the card on me whenever I went out, but they just released price changes that basically make the concept useless with the free version. You can only include personal information, emergency contacts, and “vital information” with the new version, which nearly all phones come with the ability to show for free already. Unless you’re willing to pay, there’s no use for this app anymore.
Connect with Apple Health!
I really like this app, but I wish it would integrate with the Apple Health app. I think having both apps connected would make emergency response teams more effective and informed. I have more data in the Apple Health app than I do in MyID, so it would be nice for everything to be shared.
Thankful
I'm extremely grateful for this app and the bracelet that links to the app. It has been incredibly helpful for use with my adult daughter who has multiple mental health challenges. Hospitals are not always willing to try to use it, they try to rely on their EMR which are always incorrect. Thankfully, she presses them to “check my bracelet!”

I think it was dangerous for you to remove the medications list from the free profile. Allowing med providers to see diagnoses but not the meds typically used to treat them is a potentially dangerous practice, especially if the patient is non-responsive or non-verbal. You should be ashamed of yourself. You’ve gone from supporting persons with serious health problems to only concerned about making the almighty dollar. Yet, another part of the broken healthcare system that can have devastating effects.

I have had My ID for about a month. It sure is better to not have my bracelet sliding up and down my arm and bruising me too. I was volunteering with an EMT a week ago. I asked him if he would see this on my watch. He said he had heard of it but had not seen it. Maybe you ought to contact some of the EMT associations etc. A big job but it would be worthwhile.

How do I add my profile info like height and weight and emergency contacts? My health issues didn’t come up in their list. My provider isn’t on the list.
Missing drugs I take
For some reason I can’t no longer access the drugs I take. I told my diabetes class at the VA all about your product, now I can not find my drug list to add and make changes. An EMT responder used to be able to read my QR code on my Lock Screen, and be aware of my prescriptions and chronic conditions. Thank you
