Glitch after glitch
I have this connected to my Apple Watch and for the most part it works great but it sometimes starts randomly starting the countdown as if I’m hitting the alert button. It’s a frequent issue that needs to be resolved. Other than that it’s a alright app. The Constantly going off is the worst thing abt this app
Too many false alarms
I see it’s always right when you have a seizure I say which is good, but it’s always wrong when it says you fell down, I get alarms from that just from moving my hand quickly and when I actually do fall, it doesn’t work just stays quiet it makes family worried give a lot of false alerts

Nice concept
It’s a nice concept, but not very effective. It registers falls and seizures that aren’t real when I’m at work and drop my hand too fast, or lose internet, but not when I actually fell to the floor convulsing in front of my son.

This is the best app ever. I have epilepsy and it has caught every seizure I have had

Live Changing!!
This app has given me the freedom to be able to go out on my own for the first time in years! I feel a lot more confident going out alone. Slight issue with the location; gets my home location wrong all the time which has caused issues on numerous occasions in finding me. This has also happened when I’ve been out and the company has called my family to tell them I have had a seizure and they’ve given them the wrong location for where I am and I’ve not been found for a long time. I’ve raised this issue numerous times and it’s still a problem after 2 years of asking for it to be fixed and this is a potentially fatal issue!

We have just started using this. Does the monitor function have to be on all the time? Will it still pick up sezuires if the monitoring function is off?

App only monitors BPM real time and needs the full watch battery to only get thru 10 hours. Guessing seizure monitor is effective but no way to know especially if battery dies during the night.

Love that this app exists it’s a great idea and makes me feel so much better falling asleep, but it often shows I fell when I clap or move a lot
a lot of false alerts
there is a lot of false alerts. it’s good for tracking but other than that it doesn’t seem to be beneficial. i have epilepsy and it has scared my family more times than i could count because of false alerts. especially if you forget to stop monitoring while sleeping when you have the free version.

Failed to alert guardians when a seizure happened. Do not use, it is a waste of time.

Rất tệ. Đã bị nhiều cơn co giật nhẹ nhưng không có tín hiệu cảnh báo cho người thân. Sau khi xem kỹ lại tôi đã tìm ra nguyên nhân app ko phát thông báo bệnh: bắt buộc phải cung cấp 2 sđt người thân! Còn một vđ: ko mở app liên tục thì ko phát hiện bệnh, mở liên tục phải sạc đồng hồ mỗi ngày. Như vậy thật bất tiện! Đang dùng apple watch 11 mà pin phải sạc mỗi ngày, thật khó!!! Nhịp tim 140 lại phát thông báo bệnh. Có cách nào điều chỉnh ko?!

Worked for us!
The app detected an elevated heart rate while my son was seizing in his sleep. It alerted me. Upon checking on him, I found him seizing and was able to call 911. We have gotten a couple of false alarms of elevated heart rates. Overall, it’s worth the false alarms

My daughter wears this, and I get constant false alarms when she moves her hand too fast.

It’s a great app, the only thing i can say is id love an analytical personal report on my seizures and symptoms (ect). It would be a nice option to see how I’m doing in the big picture.
Unreliable
Not very accurate. Too many false alarms from normal activity. Makes it almost worthless as an App sadly. Shame as the principle is excellent
False alerts
Have had 3 alerts saying I’ve had a fall when I been sat on the sofa not moving. Have changed the setting and sensitivity but am now worried it won’t pick up and actual fall or seizure. On the plus side atleast I know it does effectively contact my emergency contact!

I myself, has epilepsy and this is a great app that makes sure you take your meds and even keeps data on your sleep schedule. Awesome!!!
Doesn’t work
Downloaded this app, to watch over my friend whose seizures has been worsening. It has failed to go off the last 5 seizures.
Great except for exercise tracking
I really like the app and it has properly tracked my seizures and notified my emergency contacts (a few false alerts though). The main flaw is that I can no longer track my exercise properly. With this app, it records over 1000 calories burned a day even if I don’t move.
Doesn’t work
Hasn’t alerted any tonic clonics but will alert at random times.
Difficult to set up for child
Difficult to set up for child. Confusing. We’d be very easy to clarify.
Gave my family peace of mind
My dad bought me an Apple Watch purely to make sure I stayed safe when I'm working alone. When we learned that the watch could detect seizures, this app is exactly what we were both hoping for. It is very good at detecting seizures from my heart rate. It is easy to deactivate when there is a false alarm, but not so easy that you could accidentally deactivate it during convulsions. We have it set to call my family members and we were happy that the number is not a robo-phone number or something. It is the same phone number consistently so my family was able to save the number to their contacts and set up settings like emergency bypass. My whole family is happy and has more peace of mind

I like this
The app is ok however I talk with my hands and it always thinks I’m seizing. I turned the sensitivity down and it misses entire tonic-clonics. However it has also saved me and alerted my family. Life saver!!!
False alerts
Not accurate as it keeps sending false alerts which is causing more stress!
Recommendation
This app needs the ability to have parents be able to change the heart rate setting from their phone… not just the person whose wearing the watch. Also would like to have the ability to change that rating with the time, so for instance if my sons seizure rate is usually 150 and he goes to school and works out in PE it’s constantly going off if he forgets to change it to the higher setting.
Honestly best app for help
I don’t have help immediately at home often. My husband works as an EMT and OTR truck driver so he is rarely home. This alerts close friends and family if I need help and cannot call. So far it has truly been the best app yet. The free version works, you can journal notes in. Truly considering the paid version for how well I love the free version. It puts everyone around me at ease. It will however, drain your phone and or watch battery faster than otherwise experienced but that’s a small price to pay for knowing someone’s going to be aware if I’m not. Edit to say: I added the paid version and it really helps. I have enough people alerted if I seize now that I genuinely feel safer. I can also pull the reports for my heart rate. Love this app- its life changing for us ❤️
Disappointed
The app becomes easily un synced from the device and doesn’t monitor. I’m very disappointed.
Please fix
I am a family member, I have been granted full access but can only see the heart rate range and time, not if it was a true seizure or any other details. This app is still amazing and I am deeply grateful for the creators but if you could please fix this or try out different things. Thank you and have a great rest of your day!

This app did call some people I added sometimes a little too sensitive and not able to adjust range for yourself. Cost v use not clue for Money.

This has helped so many times in the weeks I’ve had it, my parents are alerted first and it gives them time to check on me.
Doesn’t work
I wanted to like this, but it gave tons of false alarms, including while monitoring was set to “off” and the watch was on the charger.

Now I am finding it difficult to use. I need to read the more on the manual unlike other apps
Closes out randomly on my watch
Basically, this app costs too much for it randomly quitting on my watch. I have to check frequently to make sure it’s still monitoring. I haven’t had a seizure while having the app yet so I hope if it is monitoring it will do what I need. But one of the last things I needed was another thing to be vigilant about.
