It is great if you use it right.
I’ve been using team app for all 8 years I have been head coach of a high school cheer program with 50+ athletes. It has many different options for access groups so you can send messages to only specific people, calendar syncs to personal calendars, can share photos, documents, and videos, you can even use it for payments. It is a highly effective communication tool. Those that are complaining of too many notifications really cannot place that on the developer. That is on the coach for not being selective on what should be sent, who needs to be notified and when it needs to be sent out. I recommend this to anyone looking for a form of communication with their teams while not giving out their personal cell phone.
Terrible App
It doesn’t refresh when you open and read notifications. You must manually refresh. Plus way too many adds and some are for harmful software.

I’m still being inundated with them even though I’ve been paying (and forgot about it) for over a year
Update needed!
I have been using this app for the past 3 years and it’s becoming harder to use. I am team manager for a team and everytime I try to upload a photo it kicks me out of the app or doesn’t even show the photos in my library to select, or mid trying to upload it will close the app down. I have tried resetting the app but lately that doesn’t work it just keeps freezing or booting me from the app. An update is required asap.
Solid App for Teams/Minor Prod Bug
This app is great. Functionality is solid. No need to go outside the app for team management or communication. I think there is a minor prod bug with the survey module not recognizing the users timezone. Ex: If I’m in the central timezone and I confirmed that was the timezone selected in app, and my current time is 7:00 am and I create a survey to go live at 7:15 am through the survey module, the go-live or start time of the survey, once created and staged, say the publish time is 1:15 pm central. It was an easy fix on my side (back up the start time).
Avoid if possible
Was difficult to log in, hard to get to my team information. Been working at it for over an hour without success. I’m a parent volunteer; I want to be coaching not wrangling technology.
Clunky but capable
On par with the other apps I’ve used as far as capability. Not the best workflow out there but useful with some practice and messing around for a bit and figuring things out. Needs a dark mode.
Super mid
This app does tell me what I need to know and it’s well organized, but why are there so many ads?
Good but needs a few tweaks
They need to change the notifications. If you’re an administrator or a coach, you get notifications for everything that everybody does. They should separate the notifications for sign ups and events. It’d be great to get a message when an event is happening that you’re attending, but not when an event is happening and when somebody signed up for something
Excellent app
Adopted this app to provide a booking system for training sessions at our running club during Covid restrictions. Very easy to use both for admins and club members. We now use it for training, social runs, race entries, club shop, social events , as well as general comms via chat. Simple to use but also very powerful.
Horrible app forced on parents
Bad nav, bad search, bad everything - ads everywhere.

Inappropriate Ads
There are inappropriate ads popping up on an app that is used by children and teens for sports programs. Ads should be filtered.
False red dot notifications
StackTeam is a brilliant tool for communication. My only criticism is the frequency of red notification dots appearing when their is nothing new to be seen. It is irritating & undermines the quality & effectiveness of this app, a bit like a smoke alarm doing it’s job & then sounding every 4th time with a false alarm.

This app makes the dumbest most annoying sound when you get a new notification that you cannot change not even in settings or anywhere. Why do people keep using terrible stuff?
Login error
The login screen has an error and makes you sign up for a new account Eather than letting you sign in
App displays scammy ads
This app must use the dregs of advertising services, because I was just served an “ad” in the form of a scammy screenshot of an iOS Home Screen with a “Your device has been infected” alert. Horrific. The way these apps treat their captive users who are required to use it by some organization is disgusting.
Inconsistent
Buggy, badges show up with no way to clear, chats don’t show. For a communication app it doesn’t make the cut.

Kalshi Ads for Kids?!?
Terrible decision; app was working okay for our mtb team purposes, but the ads just ruined it.
Almost perfect
This has been great for my club to move away from certain social media platforms. Is it possible to be able to add text when uploading a photograph? The multiple notifications puts my members off from posting. Also when you’ve typed up a large post, it sometimes doesn’t post which means you have to type it all up again. Pretty frustrating. Which leads to - can the notification sound be changed 😂
Hate the adds
Nothing like a loud 30 second add when you’re trying to check a schedule.
Great but needs DARK MODE
Great app to organise exercise. We use for cycling club. NEEDS DARK MODE so can use in the morning.
A Must-Have for our golf group
I started an evening golf group in our new neighborhood. Group texts worked well enough when the group size was under, say, ten. Unmanageable for greater numbers. Stack Team works perfectly. The Track Attendance feature puts each golfer in charge of their participation. Admins can also schedule a reminder. We love the app!
Notifications don’t clear
Every time I get a message I have to read it under both Chats and under my ‘teams’ chat so it’s twice as much work just to get the notification to go away. Waste of my time.
Great app for school. Please make a PC/Mac app version
Our kids use this app for all their school sports teams. Easy to use. I am unable to click on your ‘app support’ through the App Store - please make a Mac version of the app, so we can install to receive notifications/updates via our MacAir’s. Thanks!
Annoying and clunky
Full of notifications after you’ve cleared them…doesn’t respond and has ads that pose as malware.
Major spacing issues, please fix
Can you please fix your spacing issues!!!! Spacing looks great while editing on a computer BUT then when you look at it on your phone app, it’s completely messed up and adds weird extra spacing between lines etc… This hasn’t been addressed in the 5 years we’ve been using your great app. My rating will go up to 5 stars if this finally gets fixed! Please!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I use the app with two clubs, one as admin and one as general user and it is great for keeping all comms in one place.

Really good app to track your sports team. One bad note that there is a glitch that you can’t save your rsvp for stuff.
Chill on the red dots!
This app drives me crazy with the constant “notifications”. I can’t ever get rid of the red dots and often it’ll flag a message from weeks or months ago that’s not been updated at all. This leads to ignoring and missing actual updates. Please get the app to chill on the red dots and truly just notify of NEW updates. Also, as a non-coach, I also don’t need to know every time someone opens a calendar entry and/or RSVPs. Please fix this and make it friendly to parents that already have to keep up with 800 other school/sports apps.

Horrible UI, missed alerts and overall subpar experience compared to GameChanger. So many ads throughout the UI that makes the user experience even worse. Developers - spend some of your revenue on improving the UI and take GameChanger as a template
Site blocked due to
Couldn’t complete Email verification due to site requests going through awstrack.me site that my ISP / web guard blocks for privacy reasons. Had to drop off and complete sign up through 5G connection. Seemed a bit odd as don’t typically have this issue with formal / official’ish sites.
Buggy Ad Filled but Works
The app allows harmful ads that install spyware and data mining malware. The alerts for chat and news don’t clear unless you enter the app multiple times. Multiple features that result in a clumsy feel resulting in non-use.
Needs a tweak
Overall a functional app for connecting club members & as a central point of communication but it does not allow the user to switch off push notifications unless you are prepared to be bombarded with emails instead of notifications. This is the update that is needed.

Please allow cut off rsvp dates
Very good app but can you please add a feature to allow an event on a calendar to stop accepting RSVPs after a certain date without needing to archive and therefore remove the event. Members think the event has been cancelled. Can the feature allow the event to remain on the calendar but the RSVP be greyed out after a specific date?
Super confusing UI
My son’s soccer league uses this app and I wish they didn’t. The navigation is so confusing and there’s way too much irrelevant info. The option to add the game schedule to my calendar was hard to find. Two stars for at least having basic features.
Time to update in a big way
Been using your app for 10 years. I would love a big update that includes the following - similar to SportEasy app. 1. voting should be as part of a match / event post the game for those attended 2. Goal scorers / assists for match to those who attended and match score or integrate into dribl 3. Lineup as part of match I’d love to help the team improve it as we all benefit. I’ll drop an email too

Hard to navigate and annoying adds: Incorrect Times
I’m ready to pull my kids from youth soccer because of this App. Two seasons in a row, coming at wrong time because the app didn’t update times correctly or at all. Last season I followed the spreadsheet but the app event was right. Today I’m following the App event but the spreadsheet is right - albeit with the colors wrong.

we’ve recently started using the app add free and really like it ! .. there’s a couple of things that are bugging our parents tho .. you can’t add more than one ticket for events into a basket .. you have to check out one at a time .. really frustrating ! please can this be amended 🙏🏼 and also there is the use of apple pay to pay for store items but not for events tickets but it doesn’t save card details so parents are having to input card details every week .. please could this also be changed 🙏🏼

Chat feature update
The update two days ago to introduce the chat screen has restored old and unused chats from teams I am no longer part of. I see the chat preview but cannot open or remove notifications
