Terrible

The old team snap was great. People intentionally left crossbar, so they could use a more user friendly platform, but then they came out with team snap ONE and it is worse than cross bar. Managers cannot email teams. You cannot see who placed reactions in chats. You can’t even use your computer to do anything with your team. This is the worse sports app.

Pretty good

Nice and easy to use to see the schedule and it even has drills you can practice with (costs money) overall pretty good

Frustrating

After working with other sports management apps including Band, SportsEngine, and even TeamReach it is so frustrating as a coach not to have access on my computer but limited to the app only on my phone/tablet.

Add Time and in game

Need to add a feature where you can add the game clock for time and to also allow in game messaging. Should be able to update what player scored via message

Nice add ons from the prior version. Still a little pricy, but definitely easy to manage.

Huge Step Backward

Functionality compared to the old app has been dramatically reduced - communication and availability management. Web browser interface is useless.

Miss the widget

I haven’t used it as my link was just sent out so I may edit this but I do miss the ability to add it as a widget to my phone on my lock screen. However it appears to be simple to transfer information but I enjoyed with the old Teamsnap being able to just check at a glance when my next game or practice was!

Needs a lot of fixing

The old version was better. This version missing a lot of things and no email function.

Mid compared to old app

Way better on the ads and not interrupting the info we’re trying to get every time you log in as well as the ability to add videos. However, not being able to keep the in-game updates of timekeeping and chat feature of live games is lacking. It would also be great to have the ability to see parents contact information or player profile pictures. It’s always great putting faces to names when you forget them or are on a new team.

New app is great, please incorporate the tournament snap app into snap one to make this more user friendly

A downgrade. Dont do it

This app is horrible if you have multiple teams. It doesn’t allow you to only sync specified calendars, it’s all or nothing and you can no longer color code them. No desktop access for easy schedule entry and no way to update a series of events, one at a time only. Literally the worst app, I would rather use excel. Junk.

★★☆☆☆ Canada · v1.29.0 · 7 Jun 2026

It’s not ready yet

Too many features from old teamsnap not available in this app. Example: divisional coordinators. Coaches need to have newer devices to download the app. And, if they don’t have a newer phone, they can’t manage their team from the website. Calendar changes flood the team chat.

App kicked me out

This morning, I saw a message from our coach. When I went to go, read the message again, the app kicked me out. I can no longer see the message because I need a team code. I never had this problem with the previous version and I have used that for least 4 different teams.

Pay wall

Gross, how dare you ask me to pay another subscription on top of all the other fees just to see a freaking team schedule of a te I already paid for my child to be on, or the alternative is to waste my time with bs ads to get pass the pay wall. Stop monetizing my kid and bombarding me with dumb ads, I don’t want to watch a candy crush app just to see what time practice or a game is!!!! Gross and you should be ashamed! The pay wall belongs to the school or org that chooses this bs platform not the end user who already paid for registration, uniform, tuition, parking, ect. Have a day you disgusting capitalist pos

— GalaxybStoned

★☆☆☆☆ United States · v1.39.0 · 17 Aug 2026

Downgrade

Awful. Cannot view on desktop. Also when you sync calendars, it syncs all events regardless of the team you want to sync. For example, if I wanted to sing just one of my kids schedules that’s on the app, it won’t let me. It’ll sync kid number one schedule as well as kid number two schedule. This is such a downgrade.

— Liarliarpantsonfire

★★★★★ United States · v1.35.1 · 21 Jul 2026

Calendar subscriptions

The new TeamSnap One is great! However, it would be nice to have an option to pull in the Apple Calendar subscriptions with an option to keep them separate if desired. I find it helpful to color code the family calendar per kid so I can distinguish who has practice or games on which day, but the current format combines them and they cannot be easily distinguished if the club names them similarly. But I do enjoy seeing all calendars together in the same view of the app! Just wishing that when they are pulled externally you can have an option to export each team schedule separate or combined (which is how it is now).

★☆☆☆☆ United States · v1.39.0 · 16 Aug 2026

Don’t do it

So cluttered. No place to upload pictures, files or anything. Everything goes into the chat making it a nightmare to keep up with what is needed to see. Multiple kids, forget it. Use the original team snap. This one isn’t it.

★☆☆☆☆ United States · v1.39.0 · 15 Aug 2026

Awful

The new version of this app is awful. I used to be able to run the clock in a live feed of games. Now there is no clock and no way to add commentary. It literally only allows you to keep score and add a picture or video. Or, you can live stream if you pay a fee. Awful. Also, you can’t just see contact info.. You have to click into it and it kicks you over to your mail app like you’re going to send an email. You also cannot access this app from a desktop. Terrible “upgrades”.

★★★★★ United States · v1.22.0 · 21 Apr 2026

So easy to use!

I have used this app for both my daughter’s basketball team and my son’s t-ball team. I can easily update the schedule, live stream their games, and chat with the team. I’ve used the new poll feature for parents to sign up for weekly snack duty! The practice plan content for both sports is great. The drills are engaging and fun for the kids!

— TG Shuttlesworth

★☆☆☆☆ United States · v1.39.0 · 13 Aug 2026

Just a giant step backward

I have never seen an app downgrade every aspect of its functionality like this. It’s terrible from a manager’s point of view and it somehow got worse in game. I will be looking for an alternative and will switch away after five years of using TeamSnap as soon as possible.

— JSimpsen

★☆☆☆☆ United States · v1.39.0 · 13 Aug 2026

More of a Downgrade than an Upgrade

This app is terrible. Outside of messaging, no useful functionality compared to the previous version. There is no online version available for use either. No player data exports. No stat tracking. No way to email information to people. There is no good reason to switch to this platform whatsoever, especially if you’ve used the regular TeamSnap version or another platform.
