Best friend for new and seasoned coaches alike
I’ve been coaching for 8 seasons / 4 years. That’s an eternity in youth sports. Without MoJo it would have been painful. But this app helps me inform parents of practice times and games while using gis-validated addresses. I can put in notes to show who is responsible for snacks/drinks at each game. I can keep track of score for each game plus who scored and who assisted. It’s a fantastic app.
As a parent- super annoying
It’s incredibly annoying to be asked to “share and tag highlights” constantly. Also being asked to constantly upgrade to a paid version when the only reason I have it is because the team coach (2nd grade) asked us to. I will be recommending that our league use another form of communication. This one is very annoying.
Great app but problems of late
Love the app but lately it will not allow me to upload new videos. Every time I try to upload content, the app crashes. This was not an issue a few months ago. I think this could be related to the most recent app update but it appears that a new update is required. The alignment on the screen where you enter the half (1st or 2nd) is also not correct, which gives more reason to think another app update is needed. I’m afraid to delete and redownload the app for fear that I’ll lose all the existing content I uploaded.
Spam all in disguise
This app is used for our soccer team, it seems like someone just created this app with just enough basic event scheduling so it could shove obnoxious ads, upsells in your face 24x7.
Reduce frequency of ad to sign up
Loading the app is slow and the ad to sign up for paid membership is too frequent. I know where to sign up if I wanted to, seeing the ad so frequently is interrupting the experience and adding friction, reducing desire to buy. Also I want to dismiss the Complete Profile so more of the screen can be for the schedule. Thanks for consideration.

Terrible app
This app is terrible. It’s really a shame that AYSO went with this as their standard. It doesn’t do basic functionality like keeping track of player goals and assists. I can’t even get it to show my team’s season record (maybe it’s possible but it definitely isn’t intuitive. I highly do NOT recommend. Everyone should use GameChanger instead.
Great app
Such a great app to use for coordination and communication with the teams in our club. It could use extra features in settings like head coach selection ect and needs a desktop version please. Other than the minor things in settings this is an Awsome app thank you!!!
Too Many Notifications Without Control
I want to be able to control the type of notifications I get and cannot, and end up getting way too many notifications for things which are not important. And then after I get notifications I will go into the app, go through all the sections, and will still have a red notification icon.
Decent!! But can be better.
As a coach I’ve been using this app for 2 years now. Makes everything a lot easier for my team parents and coaching staff. Only thing that I hope gets a revamp is the video clipping after live streams. Also it would be nice to be able to run the scorebook on this app. Y’all should add that too.

Unnecessary Notifications
The number of red bubbles for no reason is beyond annoying. Fix it and it’s back to 5 stars.
Need way to merge duplicate players
Love this app, but wish there was a way for coaches to merge kids when they show up twice on the roster. If more than one parent adds them, the player shows up twice
Great until Teamsnap
This app was amazing until MOJO got bought. Since Teamsnap took over I can barely load the app. It regularly does not start and I can’t get to my schedule or communications with my teams. Fix the app. Our club has a yearly contract with you all for our rec program but if this doesn’t get fixed we will be looking for alternatives.
Emoji issue
When in chat, and trying to select an emoji, no matter what I choose, it shows up as angry emoji. Others have made the same comment, this not just me. I would have contacted developers instead of leaving this review, alas, countless clicking on options never took me to the place to do so…

This app could be useful if it stuck to simply allowing parents to stay in contact with their kids’ coach and to view scheduling information. Instead it is constantly harassing users to perform meaningless tasks the app is constantly trying to monetize. There are other apps out there that serve the same purpose without the harassment!
Needs a UI for iPad
Been looking around for a team management app for youth sports and found MOJO to be the only one that offers a good interface on mobile devices. However, it would be nice to have a tablet version which is a missed opportunity.
Great
It helps me stay up to date on my kids games and practices. And three is a great chat to text with all of the other parents on the team.
Not user friendly
Each season I get codes that don’t work. I’m not able to delete teams from old seasons. This app is poorly constructed.
Too many notifications
I get spammed all day with useless alerts. Add a setting to control what I get.
Disingenuous sharing functionality
This app is definitely well designed and fully covers everything required to manage a team. However it’s a big disingenuous when parents and freely unload pictures and videos without a subscription but a subscription is required to download them. This has contributed to parents deviating from the app and creating text groups for communication. So this well designed and informative app isn’t being fully used by all the parents and teams.

Number Fail
Your app won’t let me add “00” as my daughter’s number. I now have a concussion from rolling my eyes.
Please fix
App closes the second I try to open the team chat. I’m unable to read messages or respond. I tried to delete and download again as well as power cycled my device. Neither worked.
Schedule Sync Could Be Better
Schedule sync with Apple Calendar is confusing with multiple kids as it does not indicate what team or kid each practice or game in the title of the calendar event. With taking a quick glance at the calendar there is no way to tell which child the invite is associated with.
Organization
This app keeps me I. The know and it’s really organized and it makes us remember the days of our tournaments/ games this is one of the best apps I used aside from ,sports you🙂
Taking off a star
I had to go from 2 to 1 stars. I only use it to find out when the game starts but that takes 5 clicks about 15 seconds. The opening animation, the incessant upcharge popup- might change teams if they won’t get rid of this app.

The only thing it does not let you delete an account or team that you as a coach did not create.
July 2024 Update
Since I update the App in July I can’t open the app correctly and it keeps crashing. It has left the app unusable. I loved the app prior to the update. Someone should have tested prior to pushing the update out.
One Stop Team Info Shop!
I am pleasantly surprised with the wealth of need to know information available on this app. For everything from directions and time of the game as well as the finer more obscure details like uniform choice, parking etc it's all there. Learning players names and which parents belong to which player is a cinch with the team roster. Fun for the players to check in, show up to practice eager to work. I would highly recommend for the sports parent that can use all the organizational support available. My favorite option but far is the maps link to where each game is being held, just click and follow the directions, leaving the only thing to be uncertain about is how many points we will defeat the opponent. Go lightening!!
Worst AND most expensive sports app w/abusive subscription
False advertising—says it’s “Free to use.” Need a refund for this lame app. GameChanger is far superior app for baseball. I am furious that I was forced to buy into this. It’s stupidly overpriced. It’s a total scam. Apple and the people at Mojo are laughing all the way to the bank.
