I've been using that app since 2018 (then called 22seven). There are many improvements recently. Keep it up 😎
Lost a long time user
I’ve been using this app for so many years I’ve forgotten when I started but over the past year or so, the changes and issues have become so frustrating that I’m going to delete it once I can verify that all my data is deleted. I couldn’t update some accounts, others weren’t loading info at all, and today I can log in but the app is stuck in a loading look on every tab. Plus the use of AI (LLM) is not welcome.
Potential 5 star but it needs a little bit more..
I love the app, it’s come a long way and it’s got even more potential. Their Nudge feature needs to be more prominent and if it could render charts based off your habits it would give some nice insights into your lifestyle. Another nice feature would be to give you “nudges” when you’re about to buy a coffee or fast food and instead prompts you to put that spend away into the savings instead. If you make it easy to do those things it would be a game changer.
Getting worse
Used to use the app monthly to traffic performance across a variety of investment portfolios. Has got steadily worse, to the point that it’s actually not functional as an app to track consolidated investment performance (stopped updating for various 3rd parties, user interface has deteriorated etc).
Bugs
The conversion from 22Seven to Vault22 resulted in many bugs such as recategorisation and failing to update budget values. The overall UI on 22Seven was better with less performance issues.
Love this App!
I’ve had a look at many of the international budgeting apps and nothing compares! I love the user friendly interface and being able to categorize my expenses, it makes budgeting so easy.
Recent degradation in quality and poor support
I think the app was purchased by new owners and since then the features of the app has degraded. App support is also really poor - no response in 14 days since logging an issue. Really disappointed because i used to love the app.
Learn to save
Great app to keep an eye on your expenses and where you can save. No manual entries required as it pulls your data from your bank and retail accounts. Highly recommended. I'd give an extra star if I could see a monthly graph of my income versus expenditure per category and in total.
Now a complicated app
I’ve been using this app for more than 10 years. But the new design is so complicated it has become unusable to me. My Discovery bank accounts is not linked anymore. If I try to link it, it takes me to an authenticator with a QR code. But I am on my phone, how do I scan a QR code. Then I can copy codes, but where am I supposed to paste that. Very disappointing, but I am deleting the app and will be doing jt manually now.
Great App
This is a great app and been using it for years now. I was relying on it for all my financial plannings and visibility. But lately due to not being able to pull data from Capitec, it’s becoming difficult to open this app as its not longer accurate for me.
A great app (and service) that’s continually improving
I use 22Seven daily and don’t honestly know how I’d get along without it. The app isn’t perfect but it’s very, very good and getting gradually better all the time. Highly recommend.
It doesn’t work!
I used 22Seven for years and it was great to track monthly budgets and various investments. Login and linking different accounts was easy and intuitive. This Vault22 simply doesn’t work - from login glitches to delinked accounts that are now impossible to link, it’s no good at all.

Is it possible to fix the tag method of filtering transactions?
New update is awful
Loves this app so much until the new update, its no longer easy to use, its uglier, login is more tedious,it is definitely not an upgrade.
Brilliant and easy
I’ve been using this app since 2015 and I look at it everyday. It quickly became my ‘go to’ for checking account balances, transactions and budgets. I’ve never had any security breach with regards to linking my bank accounts. The app is completely safe. I can hardly believe it’s free. There is no better way to track spending of small amounts and things like bank fees and charges and what you’re paying in interest if you have debt. It’s a great motivator to reduce debt when you can see exactly what the interest is costing you. You can even create your own categories if need and break them down any way you want to. This app shows me what my real spending and saving actually looks like. I couldn’t live without it.
bring back 22seven
The previous version of this app was called 22Seven. it was so good. It was extremely useful provided extremely valuable details, accurate and reliable . Since they've changed the name in the branding. All the wheels are fallen off. It's completely inaccurate. It does not pull through information correctly. The calculations are not correct and it won't connect to my account anymore. It's basically permanently disconnected for about six of my accounts and no matter what I do, It won't connect again. I've written to them many times they simply don't respond. And now for the cherry on the top- they want to start charging. Laugable really. how can they expect to charge when they destroyed a perfectly good app , now they want me to pay for that privilege- after they made it worse?

Can someone please refer me to an app like 22Seven or remake 22Seven for us? Vault is awful. It’s trying to be too many things there’s just so much going on here and WHERE ARE NUDGES? That was the best part. They destroyed such a brilliant app
New Update great but some steps in wrong direction
The new update is a welcome improvement but the removed gestures and replaced it with a way out there back button It was fast swiping between months and swiping back on transactions and categories etc now it’s all hard tap actions which too all the intuitiveness the app had away
From 20Twenty to 22Seven
Back in 2001 when I got my 20Twenty card delivered in the most amazing packaging from a company that delivered exquisite service & respect, I didn’t even know that I would never have a problem with the card or miscellaneous hidden charges right up until they closed down. Now, the creators of that brilliant pre-Facebook era online card company ask me to let them use technology to evaluate my spending habits & automagically classify my expenses and watch for double-charges as well as see all my wealth across banks in one spot… there is really no way I can say no.

Amazing app, but no iPad support...
It’s a lovely app that would normally get a 5 star review from me, but without iPad support (over 5 years since this app launched!) i’m sadly giving it a 3-star review until iPad support launches,
Financially irresponsible not to have this
I thought I was organized with my budget in excel but the level of financial visibility this app gives you is incredibly useful. My credit cards are actually going down now and I can’t imagine not using 22Seven at this point.
Terrible customer service
Seriously gone downhill and the worst customer service! Was good in the beginning but now I've been waiting for issues to be resolve for over a year.. Always get told we'll follow up but nothing ever happens. Stated their emails don't get sent to me and nothing done about it.. Figures are incorrect, and features like alarms are automatically put one when I don't use alarms.. If I could give Zero stars I would.
Update not so great
I’ve used the app for a long time now but this move to vault isn’t working to my liking. Some of my accounts have been deactivated and now I keep getting notifications that I need an authenticator app for add them back on.
Suggestions
Every time an update comes out the settings get wiped. That means I need to sign in again, set up TouchID etc. Either keep the existing config between upgrades or integrate with 1Password in the login dialog. Many other apps are doing so.

The new vault is not as good as 22/7
I don't know what's happening, but my experience on Vault is nothing like 22/7. 22/7 was only ever easy while vault has log in problems and has never loaded my budget correctly and has lost all my old data!
Great way to track your budget
Good support for multiple banks, and also reward programmes, investments and loyalty cards. App is fast and fun to use, with essentially the same functionality as the website
What happened?
22/7 used to be my favourite app, but this new experience is terrible! Income keeps getting tagged as an expense and I can’t change it, spending notifications don’t work, I still can’t link some of personal investment portfolios and it unlinks my existing baking portfolios without me prompting it too. Your “updates” ruined such a good thing.
Rebrand ruined it
Oof. This app was great until it updated to Vault 22. Now it feels like they are trying to sell you investments more than anything. The accuracy of the budgeting component is so bad now that I no longer use it. I now only use it to see my total values and that is an issue now too. “An unexpected error” is occurring so I can’t re-link anything. All in all, I miss the old app :(
I’m blown away
What a great app. I’m still learning to use it. But so far, it’s fluid, seems well thought out, user friendly... makes these tough money matters enjoyable to navigate. And it’s just perfect timing for me personally. Well done. I’ll be recommending to everyone I know. 😃😃
Buggy and broken
Since the app changed to Vault22 literally nothing works. My accounts don’t update, or they can’t connect at all. Have to constantly reset everything and start again.

Used to be a good App. These days there’s just been so many issues on issues. Used to be able to track accurately but now there’s constant duplicate transactions, accounts that doesn’t want to link, and now even the entire system down for days.

I miss 22seven
I’ve been using 22seven since 2019 and it was great. Recommended it to everyone. But now? The app is impossible to use. My accounts are no longer connected and won’t reconnect with the correct login details. App says to check for emails to authenticate, nothing arrives. I understand requiring security and OTP’s but why do I have to put in an OTP if I’ve just used one 30 seconds earlier. I’ve emailed support but no luck. Think it’s time to uninstall, sadly
Poor backend work
Ever since being acquired and having the name changed, app performance has become a lot worse. Data is not always accurate or available and it seems my profile has been lost on mobile
