Pre-museum change
The app was better before the name change. I thought it was a place where artists post their art and improve. Now It’s just wows and art selling.
Facebook login broken
Love this app but please fix the Facebook login functionality! I’m locked out of the app on iPad because of this.
Front-facing camera glitch
Anytime I try to upload front-facing selfies I’ve taken on the Camera app, there’s a glitch that crops half of the image out with no way to fix it. How has this not been solved after years??? Extremely disappointing considering that is probably how most pálpele take pics of themselves
No native iPad app …
Really needs a native iPad app
Hope we can archive some artworks
Is it possible that we can archive instead of deleting some of our artwork? Thank you so much for the wonderful app.
Unable
I have been trying to sign up with Museum. However, it keeps telling me my email is incorrect and stops me dead in my tracks. But, my email is correct. I don’t know what to say. Now what? Oh great now it tells me I cannot send. What a deal!

I miss the old “Sktchy”
A lot less drawing options and dynamic poses now because of censorship rather than doing filters/tags
Just a place for crappy selfies
So much of the content is just peoples selfies and not of anything actually inspiring. Would love to see more content like landscapes, objects, still life, etc but there’s no filtering or searching I do that comes up with any results like that, and it doesn’t seem like the app wants to actually try and promote more people to make content like that as well.
I don’t usually sketch, but when I do, I sketch with Museum
social media meets art in this casual, fun, unique app. Watch random strangers make beautiful art from your snapshots, and get inspiration from theirs. How cool is that?! It’s the only social app that is not completely pointless. Please join and let’s make art together!
Easy interface
So easy to use and a great supportive atmosphere.
Landcsape view, please!
Please make a landscape version of this app fir the iPad.

Not much diversity but
It’s a really great app I recommend it for you Of you like art
Love Sktchy
There isn’t a day that goes by I don’t open this amazing app. Just a few things I would love to see to make a great app better: 1. Auto suggest inspiration usernames. I often have to back out of an upload because I forgot the username. 2. Embrace landscapes and other reference photo types 3. Auto suggest tags - it’s very difficult to find inspiration without tags 4. Link Sktchy art school and related tags Thank you for all that you do!
Got dupped
No thanks
I’ll give it 5 stars when it is offered on android
This is a great app a great place to find artists and artists reference material for portraiture. I’m really enjoying it. Lucky for me I have an iPhone
Идея крутая,
Безусловно круто делиться своим творчеством и искать вдохновения. Но у меня не загружаются не рисунки ни фото для вдохновения😒
Where’s app support? IT?
I’ve been using this app for a few years and I love it…but… Just one BIG issue… I’m locked out of my account because of some lame glitch and after sending countless messages in the website and app support links I am not getting any support or responses. I’ve sent 3 or more messages that have been left unanswered… years of my work and followers left locked in my account… very disappointed :(
I love it!!!
The only thing is that my friends who don’t have iPhones can’t join 😢

Just needs folders to show off your favorite pictures
This app is great and it gets you drawing. It’s come a long way since it’s launch with classes and tutorials. There is something very essential missing. If you have been active on the app the sketches pile up. Hundreds of them! We need to have a few small galleries. Your ten most liked pictures, your ten most liked inspirations, and ten pictures you want to show off so people don’t have to try to scroll through hundreds of you pictures to get a feel of your style/styles. Also a website would be cool too to see the art on a bigger screen than a phone.
Many terrible artists
It’s not sktchy’s fault, I guess, and more to do with so called art now being available on social media. This has meant that some very lame art is circulating. It’s the dumbing down of the art world. Sktchy attracts cartoonists as well as some genuinely good artists. It’s also primarily for representational artists and very conventional artists. Nothing wrong with that, but it means even the bad ones are elevated, by mass public opinion, in place of more interesting art. Good for portrait reference photos but even then, the poor quality of many of the photos and their inappropriateness as references shows me this is an app for Sunday artists.
“Museum” is a dumb move
I love Sktchy and have been on the app for years. Giving 3 stars because this shift to “Museum” is really stupid. The spirit of sktchy is that it’s for practice, you can do sketches and improve your skills. Museums are for fine art pieces and the name alone is intimidating. I want to practice portraiture, not feel like I have to upload art that is perfect. I have no idea who convinced the app creators this was a good idea, but I hope they go back to Sktchy. Sktchy is friendly, Museum is stuffy. Sktchy is the first result on google, Museum isn’t even listed because the name is so common. The website claims it’s a play on “muse” but I definitely didn’t get that. I’m assuming they’re focusing on muses > artists bc they want more people on the app. Very disappointed. Why do all great apps make terrible decisions? Feeling: sad, disappointed. Goodbye Sktchy 😔
Love Sktchy
It’s so great to be part of this supportive, creative community.
Disappointed
Ad makes it look like you can make art from your photos, when in fact you have to make the “Art” yourself or hope some one likes your picture and turns you into art? It’s just a sharing app for images in the hope someone make you their muse! Don’t waste phone space.
STOP SENDING ME E-MAILS!!!!!
I liked the app but I decided to delete the app about 2 months ago. To this day this stupid app is sending me emails. HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP????????????
I don’t know....
Every time I try to upload like a sketch or painting or something, it says; “free draw disabled try again later”
Crashes often
The app is cool but if I browse for more than about ten minutes it crashes and shuts off and that is a MAJOR annoyance. One of the main reasons I stopped using it years ago. Kind of surprised that’s still an issue.
READ THIS IF CONFUSED!!!
Best app ever! If you want to see serious artists in action click that install button! If you are a artist click that install button, there is only one thing if you want Frances to teach you to draw and painting daily you have to pay monthly but I don’t do that! If you do get it, make sure to follow Johanna Wakefield Art! Goobye
Rubbish
Nothings clear so you don’t know we’re your going what you doing I was honestly getting so excited to get this but disappointed please fix this 😱😢
Love the App, but wish it were all free
I LOVE the app so much and have for years. It has been a real spark to daily creating and I love the community, support and fun of it all. I don’t mind that the inspiration is now curated as it has brought more quality images to create from. I love the vast talents of artists - from self taught to degree holders, beginners to advanced. My only complaint is the app is clearly moving towards being a subscription/paid (only?) service and I am not interested in that (yet anyway). The tips are fine, but I like to explore on my own a lot too. Daily is too much. A tip once a week would be better. The new update makes the paid portion/daily tips front and center, which free member cannot access. I understand we all have to make money and absent ads, what can they do? I will keep an open mind as updates become available. As an aside, I had a whopper of a techno problem and was blocked from my account. They were AWESOME in helping me resolve it.
still no ipad native layout?
Okay. It’s the tail end of 2018. Maybe it’s time to make this app work on the ipad without it being a scaled up version of the iphone app? Maybe add screen rotation so that when the ipad is docked it’s the image isn’t permanently rotated 90 degrees? It’s common sense.
Sktchy
Cool. Fun. Artistic. Love it.
Gifts
Every time I share a photo and get someone inspired the art they make of it is one of the best gifts I e got to see. Thanks sketchy
Crashes after latest update
Crashes my iPad Pro running iOS 9 after 11/12/18 update. App will not open, or opens only briefly before crashing.
Fun and inspiring
I enjoy using Sktchy and feel it could be a good way to get into a daily art practice, get better at portraiture, or even just get over a creative slump. The inspiration photos the other users upload are frequently very interesting, and I have a few favorite models who are always uploading new, dynamic photos that it is easy to be inspired by. Nice, supportive community of creators as well. Overall pretty great.
I like the idea but...
I can’t post any art without it requiring me to share inspiration. I’ve marked a few inspiring photos I like but the app tries to force me to select something that doesn’t apply to my art. Possibly a bug but I’m not liking that!
Can’t upload art
I just downloaded the app and it won’t let me upload my art. I’m sure the bug will work itself out, just hoping sooner than later because I’m really stoked to get involved with this community.
The best app ever
I absolutely love this app!
Bad
So not user intuitive- couldn’t even figure out how to upload then couldn’t sketch. Better apps elsewhere
Needs Improvement
I would like to see the app go in horizontal mode.
Not able to add inspiration image
I am not able to add my sketches inspiration images
Landscape Orientation NEEDED
I would change only ONE THING in this awesome app....allow LANDSCAPE mode. I use an iPadPro w\separately purchased keyboard; NEED LANDSCAPE MODE PLEASE
Amazing app!
I love this app, it is such a great way to connect with other amazing artists!
Extremely Disappointing
I began my trial with Sktchy and tried to post some artwork. The app forced me to put a reference image down first, which I didn’t have, this stuff comes from my head. As an artist I express myself how I want to, not how Sktchy wants me to. Come to find out, they FORCE you to put a reference image down with EVERY. SINGLE. POST. Ridiculously unreasonable. Contacting them through email, they replied with: “you need to draw a reference photo from Sktchy to share art. This is a bit funky, we know, but it’s also what makes Sktchy unique.” No Sktchy. No it does not. It is not “funky”. It actually crippled my experience. Deleted immediately.
Loving this app!
What a great resource for images and feedback!
Crashes
Overall I like the app but keeps crashing. Needs to be fixed.
