Travello made it so easy to connect with like-minded travelers before and during my trips. The app feels genuine, not like a dating app disguised as travel — people are actually there to explore and make memories. Great way to turn solo trips into shared adventures. Highly recommend!
Garbage Spam
I can’t tell if this was ever a real app. I tried it. It’s garbage! No idea how it works. There’s lots of gold spinny things yelling at you to spin them and earn “cash”. That level of garbage.

Great idea. Limited functions
I hope the developers read this because I think this could be a huge virtual hub for travellers. It has some very cool features and fun ideas with a nice interface. Firstly, I don’t like how much pesters you to keep your current location on. I was automatically added to local groups which is a privacy concern. Secondly , the search functions are very limited. It would be great if you could search by hashtag or another level of granularity to find experiences. There are only a handful of groups which are currently too vast to really be useful, especially as user base grows. Right now, it’s no more useful than TripAdvisor really, but with less reviews. I also couldn’t add Spain and Thailand to my past trips. I’ll try using it when I’m on my travels next month, and I’ll update this review.
🤩 A must have travel app for solo travellers
Solo female traveller her and Travello has completely changed the way I travel. The community aspect is incredible, like a global network of likeminded adventurers. I’ve met so many amazing people through the app, both locally and overseas. Whether you’re a solo traveller or planning something with friends, the community makes you feel connected and supported wherever you go. The rewards program is a real bonus, just by engaging in the app and sharing my travels, I’ve been able to unlock great discounts on tours and experiences. It’s such a smart idea and gives you that extra nudge to explore more. The interface is clean and easy to use, and I love being able to browse activities and deals based on where I’m heading next. Travello feels like a mix between a social network and a travel planner – and it nails both. Highly recommend for anyone who loves travel, wants inspiration, or just wants to be part of a great global travel community. It’s become one of my go-to apps.
Glitchy, outdated UI and not straightforward at all
The app screen keeps reloading rapidly on its own for no reason. Created my profile but nothing is showing up in terms of what the app seems to be advertising so not really sure what the point is. The one thing that worked was asking for payment if I wanted to buy points for things?? I don’t even know what I’m buying so why would I want to give money to this app? Very weird.

Has potential
This app freezes and swaps screens loosing track of where you were searching. Has so much potential is bugs were fixed- would be great to meet solo travellers on here!

I like the app very much… but the performance is very bad.. always loading, gets stuck… too slow….. please improve.
My favourite travel app
Seriously, this app is amazing. I’m a female solo traveller and I’ve used Travello across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It’s such a great community and I’ve met so many amazing people from this app - some will be friends for life! They also have this rewards program where you get points just for using the app and you can use the points for tours and activities around the world. I’m travelling so much cheaper than other people I mention the same tours. 5 stars for this app. If you are a solo traveller this is a must have travel app.
Too many bugs
Needs to be fixed bc it crashes all the time
Love the idea of this app, but BEWARE
I love the idea of coming together and talking about traveling. The concept for this app is solid and it’s well put together. Beware: Most conversations start off as expected, and then by message three it’s 3/5 times someone trying to get you into crypto and forex trading. I’m so sick of it and will stop using the app for this reason. They want you to send them $500-$2000 so they can trade for you, making a 15% commission, claiming to make well over your investment. True or not, this is a TRAVEL app! It’s okay to talk about what you do and how that allows you to travel, but these aggressive sales pitches need to go. Also, women beware there are still a lot of creeps and people misusing the app. At the same time there are many travelers and I love seeing the pictures. If you stick to the posts and comments then you may have a better experience. I think this is a promising idea, but the human factor killed it for me.
Hmm
All is well designed, and has potential, but not as useful as it could be. It does not let me select specific cities or locations, just general countries.. a bit pointless when you enter trip details and find someone also travelling to the same country but 500km away…
Need more upgrades
The app is really nice and useful for travelers, but it needs a lot of upgrades. The app still looks like it's from the 2000s. For example, we can post reels, but there is no option to add music or effects. There is an option to add trips, but we can’t see the trips on a map. We can add pictures, but no filters are available. I can suggest at least 100 upgrades that this app really needs. If developers focus on these features one by one, this app would become a great choice for world travelers.

Group chat!!!!
please give us control to not be included in group chats! The group chats should be optional. This is the worst idea the app ever did….if someone ask a question they should just post as a public post. Not include everyone in a region! Notifications controls don’t work and the are scammers in the group. Please remove group chat or give us the choice to OPT out!

Video length.
It would be nice if we could upload videos over 1 minute. It’s very trash that you can only upload videos ranging from 10-40 seconds please update that. Also stop rewarding points to people who steal pictures off of google and post them to get likes, there’s no originality in that and they get more points than you when they don’t ever actually travel and do anything. If that’s the case I’d just go find a picture of the sun and post that everyday.

Bugs letting down an otherwise good app
Good idea but slow and absolutely riddled with bugs. Makes it very hard to use even the most basic functionalities. Pretty certain I’m being spammed by fake profiles too...

Won’t verify
Downloaded this app last evening. Was working as expected other than could not verify phone number. Which seems to be a known issue as I’ve read in other reviews. However; this morning, when trying to go back into the app, it had logged me out and when I tried to login, the app is stating that my email address does not exist, yet when people follow me or like one of my posts, I receive a notification from the app but cannot login.

False Notifications
This app sends fake notifications. I'm guessing it's because they want you to open up the app and use it more.
Limited "Destination" Options?!
I enjoy using the app and have seen improvements over improvements - good job. But there is one I noticed that still is the same issue for me - DESTINATION. I feel its either limited or how it was coded is making it for users to be accurate. Ex: I am unable to search "Langkawi" In Langkawi, there are several areas. Pantai Kok is not an option. There are more but those 2 are the most recent. I hope you can look into this.
Great app for travelers
Great to share tips with new friends around the globe, post details of your trips, block unwanted mail, and participate in contests and raffles. The only thing I hate is promotional content. Please just keep it short and have people inbox you because we have to scroll down long adds a few times to go to the next post.
Can’t Verify Number
I keep trying to verify my number so I can actually use my account but it just keeps saying “invalid number” so I can’t even use all features of the app so yall only get one star

Awesome travel app!
This app is a travel necessity! You can find out the best spots to visit on your next journey, view what's going on near you or just browse worldwide and get some travel inspiration. You can even arrange a meet up if you'd like! Your profile can be as private or open as you would like it to be. The app is safe and easy to use! All around an awesome tool to have to connect with fellow travelers.
Garbage application
First 15 seconds of use of this encountered 4 different bugs that prevented me from even creating an account. I knew it was going to provide more frustration had I made an account so I just deleted the app. Issue 1) search feature for selecting your country does not work. Upon typing the first few characters of your countries name does not work — just shows a blank list. 2) App would not accept my phone number no matter how I typed it, it just said “invalid number”. Fix your trash app.
Great app but a frustrating glitch
The app is a great experience and users are actively using it not like other similar apps. However, I had a frustrating glitch with the likes list. If the number of likes on a post is <10, you can’t see who likes it

I love this app because it’s like a facebook and instagram for traveling/travelers but I find the app to function very slow and lags even if the internet connection is good.

I travel a lot for fun and adventure. This app is great because it allows me to share my travel plans with friends and meet new friends for specific trips. I am planning a 4 month summer trip to Colorado and plan to use this app to share with my friends.

Great concept
Really helpful in terms of finding travelmates and see who else is traveling to your destination, wifi finder is also great feature. The app still needs some improvements but overall loved the idea!
Not sure if it's functional
It's clunky to use and once you use the app you can not deactivate the account. The meetup with other people seems like a story for a thriller series. No reputation of the other user or anything do at your own risk.

I don't have Facebook
I am trying to gain access to the worldwide network (the reason I downloaded this app) but I can't invite my friends to join because I don't have a Facebook account. Is there any other way to get them to join?
Constantly crashes
This is such a good idea but unfortunately this app is terrible and never works. It constantly crashes so I am never able to actually connect with anyone that tries sending me a friend request.
Global gal
Could be a good app but don't like the idea you can't add friends by email and only have option through Face Book when given an option to sign up by email! Also that you can't access worldwide notice board until inviting/ adding friends! Defeats the object of being a global app!
