Just need Word Back
I don't need Microsoft word to be linked in some stupid double verification system just for me to retype my resume. So I can't even use this program because you want to break into my Ipad security to do so! This is ridiculous, I'll use my ipad notes over this nonsense been wasting an HOUR to still not even have access to a simple word document to retype my resume.
Quick and secure
Right amount of security
Constantly failing trying to add secondary account
The word processor portion works fine, but it keeps failing trying to add a second account.
Cursor jumps around
Either MS or Apple needs to fix how the cursor jumps around. It’s been an outstanding issue for a long time. I’m likely going to switch to Google Docs if not fixed soon.
WORD & JESUS MADE VICTORIES

ALL MY CHILDREN ARE SAFELY LIVING BACK HOME WITH US IN JESUS CHRIST’S NAME AMEN! OUR FAMILY AND BUSINESSES ALREADY WON ALL OUR COURT CASES WE ARE SO VERY GRATEFUL AND BLESSED PLUS RELIEVED! Issue
With larger documents, the app frequently misreads your scrolling, sending you right back to the beginning. It is incredibly frustrating. I use the app to proofread my work more than edit it, and I can hardly do that without having to scroll several hundred pages or jump chapters every few minutes.

Mostly Good
I like this app, it’s designed very well just some minor annoyances because the iPad version is missing some capabilities that the mac version has, but i like it i just wish that it was easier to figure out for new users.
Oh word?
If I could use something else I would. Click the wrong button and you’ll be trying to fix margins for the next hour

Hate copilot
Why does Microsoft enforce copilot on us. Word is a great program but I’m seriously considering moving to an alternative as I don’t need all is functions and it expensive for personal use
Not great but it’ll have to do
Well, the main problem is with accessibility. When voiceover is turned off it won’t type so voiceover had to be switched on or nothing happens. I don’t like how it corrects documents either much. I never really liked the last incarnation of Microsoft but at least it came with a disc and therefore a one-off payment unlike now when you’re ripped off every month just because obviously Bill Gates hasn’t screwed us enough yet for money. To be honest, I haven’t really liked Microsoft office since 97/03 when you at least had drop down menus and the ability to change the colour background and text. However, they have us over a barrel so we tolerate it and that’s really all there is to it.
A glitch?
I have written four novels now on word and up the last one had no issues. Has anyone else suddenly found when you paste something in my case from my work book into the novel it pasts it twice and not obviously but later as I scroll through I find part of the last paste embedded in another chapter or later in the pasted chapter. And how do you turn off the editor? It keeps trying yo correct my spelling and I have to spend time going through the text on editor telling it to ignore the issues it has highlighted.

Amazing when saves projects correctly.
Book editing.
I don’t know why, but it no longer prompts to continue where I left off. This means I have to take a screenshot before I set it down between editing. Very annoying.
Settings
Please can we have the option to remove copilot on Microsoft word on an iPad for example. I’m trying to reduce the amount of summary’s and etc but I can’t turn it off. I also know that there are many people who also want this so please give us a way to turn it off for the app.
Great
It is the best!
Nobody Likes Microsoft Office
Word app on IOS is a crime against humanity, but we all have to use it cause our jobs and schools are stuck with it. Nobody likes word and if you have the option, you should not use it, or use it on PC.
Still great but
Not as good or user-friendly as it was when I was teaching Office in the mid 90s..
Update
I have given this a 2 star only because every single time there is an update on Word I open the app and ur us always blank. I therefore have to delete the app and reinstall, this has been going on now for the past 8 updates prior to that was ok. All other apps are fine just Word please fix this problem
Has issues
I’m looking at switching to a different system. I keep having to sign in. It doesn’t seem to work well with my Apple Mac & iPad, especially when using dictation. Other than that , it’s good.

Word used to be my dream app for phone/tablet
I recently published at 350 page book that I wrote entirely in Microsoft Word. It took 8 years to write, from concept to publication. I used the word app on my iPad during editing so that I could work on the fly without having to lug a laptop around. Towards the end of the editing process the Word app became unusable because it insisted on scrolling to the page where the cursor was located. This made it impossible to scroll through the contents of the book without having to stop every page and move the cursor. Without this step I would scroll down a few pages to get to the next chapter and Word would immediately scroll right back to the page I had just been working on. I tried all the suggested settings changes and updated the app to the latest version, but to no avail. I’m giving it another go now with a new document, so fingers crossed it will work for shorter projects.

Very useful :)
Not fair
I’m just ten and like I wanted to just use it for fun but it cost money. This is no fair I will never use any other microscoft app except for copilot 1 star.
Font Default
I would definitely give a rating of 5 stars if there was a way to pre-set a preferred font as a default.
I can’t turn predictive text off
Tried turning predictive text off and it wont turn off. I am on my iPad.
Ok
Ok but where is the word count? I have found this easy to work with. But the lack of word count in iOS is especially annoying. That is a basic tool.
Amazing!!
this app is something that is finally not a scam you can type make stories or anything I really like this app
Mouse Error/SmartArt
**Update: There is a serious issue when using a mouse to highlight text or rearrange documents. The copy and paste function is even distorted. What is going on with WORDS on iPadOS?? The option to have SmartArt and other desktop features available on Windows and Mac for iPad would be ideal.

Pricing Increase
365 was one of the greatest products and grows increasingly productive as I got used to the applications with the addition of copilot. I was happy to renew as I needed it but was shocked to find a 40% increase. I had no way around it and had to resort to a monthly subscription to keep my services with the increase in the annual price. Great product. Hard to justify the increase
Hard to download file to my iPad
Why can’t we just get a option to download the file straight to our devices?
Word has my heart
This app has helped me so much with all of my college classes. This is like my number 1 app its so very helpful and that app is pretty straightforward
Microsoft Word
I have battled trying to get this application to be operational for three days. Microsoft is notably absent for support, and the people down at the Apple Store don’t provide any support or direction claiming it’s a third party application. So given the immediacy of need I find myself in a SOL situation. Thanks a lot!
Grammer
Keeps suggesting words that don’t make sense or gives me the wrong grammer for what I’m writing.
Not user-friendly or intuitive
I work on a MacBook Pro and use Word on it without a problem, but when I travel, I use an iPad with magic keyboard to work. The Word for iPad environment is not intuitive nor is it user-friendly. You are looking for tabs and menu items that are hidden or don’t exist - for instance word count is hard to find and under an icon that means nothing, just like certain paragraph formatting items. Then there’s that annoying behaviour that brings you constantly back to the comment you were reading or the point in the text where you had your cursor. I have to reacquaint myself with the platform each time, which is a waste of time.
Extremely Buggy and always asking for feedback
Guys; The scrolling feature doesn’t work reliably. This is basic stuff
