Happy long-time user
What keeps me using Sygic is the offline maps and being able to navigate with no signal or with a poor signal. The other major navigation apps either require you to be online, or their offline capability doesn’t work reliably when the signal is weak.
Constantly advertises more subscriptions
Edit (for dev response): This is not annoyance, it misled me to pay for ads that I was not clearly informed about. In a prominent place, please add details about how many ad prompts users will have to see. Also add a note that you think this is just an annoyance and will not provide opt out option. Even after paying for the subscription I am constantly forced to see more subscription ads. I used the app once for 10 mins of actual direction, I have already dismissed ads more than 10 times. Deleted the app, waste of money if you are paying to not see ads.
Good but annoying messages
Generally works well but it would be good if annoying messages could be avoided e.g. irrelevant offers on startup or about switching units while driving.
Unpraktisch fürs Motorrad
Richtungsangaben ohne Strassenbezeichnung. Fahrzeugsymbol ist während der Fahrt in einem dunkleren Bereich (Design Effekt) und ist bei Sonneneinstrahlung schlecht zu erkennen. Die verbleibende Zeit der Route ist in orange und relativ klein dargestellt. Wenn der Lenker vibriert, die Sonne strahlt sieht man es nicht auf den ersten Blick. Insgesamt sehr unübersichtlich. Schlechte Farbwahl und keine guten Kontraste. Dadurch einfach unpraktisch fürs Motorrad.

Nice navigation app
Very nice navigation application, easy to understand
No Update at all
After I became a Premium+ member, the map didn't update at all for over a year. I added, fixed and edited many roads on OSM last year, but none of them appeared in this app. I'm disappointed. there are lots of incorrect roads and wrong routing taking me on unnecessary routes.
Full Screen Advert on startup
Seems to be better than older versions, had lifetime for Android but they removed a lot of features to a subscription, so now got on iOS and paid for a subscription but every start up and it blasts me with full screen advert pushing me to upgrade to a different subscription, if I wanted that subscription I would have got it, so stop forcing that advert on users. also keeps saying head towards compass point and not street or road

Ich würde gerne mehr geben, aber zweimal probiert und beide Male hat sich die Software aufgehängt. GPS ging einfach nicht mehr weiter. Aktuell leider so nicht brauchbar. Schade ums Geld.
Fehlende Verkehrsinformationen
Seit einiger Zeit erhalte ich bei Routen keine Informationen zur Verkehrslage mehr, es liegen immer „keine Verkehrsstörungen“ vor. Mein Eindruck ist, dass da was nicht mehr so funktioniert, wie es soll.

Good ish, paid but full of adverts
It works well enough but not as polished as Tom Tom. Complex to set up, unlike Maps, and remove all the clutter from the maps. But the worst thing is - after paying - the constant advert to buy the motorcycle or camper van versions. I have neither and no interest but keep getting pestered in app and by email. Not resubscribing!
Navi ist gut, Werbung nervt
Ich habe ein lebenslanges Premium gekauft. Danach kam Premium+. Ich habe es abonniert. Trotzdem kommt jedes Mal Ihre Werbung. Das geht nicht. Ansonsten hätte ich gern mehr Funktionen für E-Autos und Ton über CarPlay und nicht über die Telefonanlage. Ich habe Ihr Abo gekündigt.
Very dissatisfied
I have tried this app twice. It fails to list POI in my area and limits gas stations to two brands. I emailed for help and received a response from AI instead of a person in two occasions. Both times I was told to send them the info so they could add it to the app. Sorry. I don't get paid to do their job and correct their app. I cancelled my Sygic Premium subscription. It could be the best gos app available with their options. But it appears they just don't care about updating the USA Maps.
Bait and Switch/ Scammers
Every update they bait and switch you. I’ve paid for Premium features that have now mysteriously became “Premium+” features. I’m an original grandfathered user. I’m beyond disappointed. I’ve lost all trust in this company and will immediately stop my personal and business support. I understand continuous market presence but this is fraud/ scam
Works well
Been using this GPS for several weeks now, & it’s rapidly becoming my favorite. Works well, pretty prompt directions and seems accurate. Wish it would connect better with our calendar, but still highly recommended. Still true (08/03/2026) & still wish it would link With my calendar. With that it’d be perfect!!!
Popups
Even though I bought premium+ subscription, I still get popups to try to sell the additional camper mode - there is no stop it
Good, but...
General good navigating, easy to follow interface, doesn't reed speed limits too well, poor saving of favorite locations, sometimes completely wrong routing. Annoying aggressive upselling of paid subscription on opening page (distraction) could be main reason to get rid of it.
Incredible App
I have used Sygic before Car Play was even a thing. Over the years it has only gotten better. This App has it all. You can put your phone in airplane mode and your download maps are right there smiling at you. 10 stars out of 5
Not happy with it
Not happy with the app. I had it for two days then canceled. Wasn’t able to get my money back. You didn’t always find the location I was looking for.

Not as many notifications but seems as good at indicating police traps

Sygic great, Carplay not so much
I have found that Sygic works really well stand alone on my phone, but when connected through Carplay, it will freeze constantly causing missed directions.
DON'T SUPPORT CARPLAY
Shame on this app, I was a user of sygic for many years, but the last version of this app won't work for us you while using carplay in your car you have to pay for this service. So it became one of the worst app.
This is a great map but why do we need premium+
Okay so I had it for a week then my premium preview goes away. I did not want to spend $10 a month just for speed cameras, traffic, lane guidance and voice guidance and also I want it free so please make it free with all the features.

I was given a 72hr yesterday to buy the premium at €58.99 when I try to buy it, it wants £79+ NONSENSE. I got an answer, not what I wanted to get, but an answer eventually: it was a mistake! I wonder how many other ‘mistakes’ they will make?

I have been using sygic for a few years inside the uk now its pretty good but the only comment i can say is about the updates specifically the road works no update and ending out with block roads leading to a long journey. Compare to gmaps or waze they are top on that point. Improve and update please

Great GPS
Nice app but GPS eats up resources on your phone. Other than that great app.
Good navigation TERRIBLE interface
The navigation is good, especially as the Truck version allows you yo specify your vehicle’s dimensions and weight. However the interface is ghastly. It needs rewriting to use the standard iOS tools. You cant cut or paste, the keyboard is terrible, favourites aren’t stored in your account so if the app gets uninstalled or you move to a new device they are all lost. I paid for the Truck version and to be honest I’d rather use Google Maps for free. Cannot recommend it until they update the interface.

The best navigation app
I have tried almost all the navigation apps and definitely the most complete and accurate is this one, I recommend it completely, even offline it maintains an incredible precision, you will never get lost...
Logs out and won’t connect
So frustrating- won’t let me login and keep saying it won’t connect to a server. Arbitrary and not true. Unreliable to work, but when it does work, it works great. No one to call no one to get help with.

Navi kręci się jak zwariowana podczas zatrzymania się. W lewo w prawo , dookoła. Powinna trzymać obraz w miejscu oraz kierunku jazdy. A ona tańczy jak zwariowana. Zjedziesz na stację paliw a ta już se kierunki poobracala i kieruje cię w przeciwną stronę. Ona musi zapamiętać gdzie był cel podróży i tam trzymać pion mapy. A nie tańczyć. W miastach na skrzyżowaniach nie da się na tym jeździć
Disappointed
I downloaded this app after disillusionment with Apple and Google maps. I wanted something that works with CarPlay. However, there is no trial. You can’t use CarPlay without a premium subscription. This defeats the object. I can’t decide if it’s worth subscribing if I cannot test the product for the purpose I intend to use it - on CarPlay. Looks like I’ll have to try something else!
Excellent Nav
Love this nav app. I like the graphics. The traffic is accurate. And the direction routes are always good.
Horrible USA maps
I downloaded the North Carolina map. Major facilities or locations located on the map we’re completely inaccurate. As an example, Lowe’s motor Speedway, a major racing facility was located in a residential neighborhood, which it is not. Concord Mills shopping center is the most visited, is the most visited site in North North Carolina. Again located incorrectly on the maps. I don’t know where they have sourced their maps from, but at least for the state of North Carolina, totally useless!!!
Sygic Navigation
I’ve used this app for a number of years. It is really good however I feel it could be improved slightly. Depending on the route settings I do find this app frustrating on its route selection sometimes, especially in a city. It has taken me down some roads that are no entry or one way with no re route solution. I haven’t used the real time view as I have my phone placed away but I think that would be a great addition to use. There are also instances of the app either not updating or the information hasn’t been updated for it, example is the A46 ring road prior to the M6/M69 junction is a 70mph road but there must have been average speed camera there at some point. Overall it’s a great app I use this more than I would others.
FIX THIS!! $$$
I believe in this app I remember downloading it several years ago and really enjoying it and I just recently came back to it. I did upgrade and pay for extra features, however, no matter how many times I edit or delete my previous home or work location every time I reopen the app it says if I never did anything. Sometimes I just try to edit it instead of “deleting” it but regardless of which I do it doesn’t make a difference how the hell you do it. I PAID FOR PREMIUM!! ALSO: there’s no way to report an incorrect route or location of an address within the app. EVERY OTHER NAVIGATION APP HAS THIS! I know I live in a more rural area (not remote), but every other app recognizes unpaved roads except this one for some areas.

Like others have said good but needs attention, place name recognition and why does the home page only show a grey background!

This one star is for the *di*t that decided to splash a full screen ad when a paying customer opens the app to try to get somewhere. All your good work gets drowned when you leave idi*ts in charge to make such stupid decisions.
I tried so hard to keep using it, because I loved it…but
It’s a wonderful app and I paid for the Pro tools because they, too, are really great. But if you live anywhere rural, the app is completely lost—particularly anywhere in Scotland (which is where I live). So I simply could not continue finding and submitting all the place names it didn’t recognise. I had to stop using it 😟
Really close to being great
I switched to Sygic from Waze because of how awful it is with no or particularly low signal. It will try and route and just timeout even though it is capable of routing with no signal. Sygic on the other hand will route first and get traffic data later which is incredible. Its routing is also fantastic and it is almost militaristic in trying to stop me waiting in traffic. With that said it has two downsides that have dropped it to two stars for me. Firstly, searching for your destination is not great. Unless you have an address finding somewhere by its name is not very easy. The second and much bigger problem is the constant advertisements for you to pay more money. The initial subscription is absolutely reasonable but I do not need to navigate as a campervan or motorbike. I wouldn’t even mind unobtrusive ads but literally everytime you open the app despite the fact you’ve paid for premium, you still get an ad! It’s also worth noting my account has a separate issue with syncing. I’m unsure of the cause but I was advised the only way to resolve was to delete my account. The problem means if I turn sync on it overwrites my home address with old data.
Dated
It’s decent enough- has good information on the screen but really does look old and dated now. Think they’re using some old TomTom maps
