At last!
This app was driving me nuts as NO apple carplay BUT after a 2.5 year wait it is here! A massive game changer! New layout and visuals a massive improvement as well! This app takes away some of the atress of towing!

Great App, But….
I’ve had the app since 2009 and never had a single complaint until the recent update. Quite simply, the map style and layout were spot on and very clear. Now the roads are too small and just look line drawings, even zoomed in. Already missing turns because it not clear where the route is going. A wise mechanic once said to me ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!’ The old map display wasn’t broken in my opinion. I’d love the option to go back to the previous display. Thanks.
Problem scrolling through POI’s
After the last update when I search for points of interest and I get a list of results. When I scroll through the list it doesn’t work properly. I get half way through the list and stop to look. when I continue to scroll as soon as I touch the screen the list resets to the top. Please fix this issue.
Newest version is a downgrade!
Apparently, I can no longer customize my routing if part of my desired route is among the alternate suggested routes (by selecting a point and “routing through it” as before. I miss the functionality and routing flexibility of the old app. If I wanted ”simple and easy,” I’d stick with Apple Maps or Google Maps — I want powerful and flexible BACK!!! Not a happy user anymore.
Changed for the worse

Those maps used to let you see whole America on satellite view so you could find the way around even without buying premium maps and now they can’t let you see a whole city without buying premium maps!Forget about USA Map. It has become useless. DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNLESS YOU ARE PAYING MONEY FIRST.
CarPlay
Finally! I’ve been waiting for the CarPlay connectivity for quite some time so I do appreciate the addition of the feature to this update. However I have some constructive criticism; I notice in the info panel where it says your next turn out the exit that you get off the highway, the number is enshrouded with a green circle. Well that green circle makes it less visible. I would suggest just writing it in white color font as’Exit’ is written in.
Stop the “Are you OK”
Needs to be an option to shut off the New AI that says “you have been sitting for 5 minutes are you OK” we need to stop to take a piss! Also stop the asking for a review after every trip! Use to love the app until the last update with AI now I hate it but tolerate it!!!
Not sure
The app has some good things but still needs work. The volume is a big issue even at max I can’t hear what the voice is saying. And the other thing I’m not sure if I’m just not figuring it out on how to locate rest areas or fuel stops only along the route while in transition. I do like the fact that it gives you several options to choose on routing to your settings and warns me when I’m going over speed. Now if the voice volume was that loud that would be great lol
Very good for HGV Truck
The new update is amazing. Very good work. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE TOP LEFT corner where it says how many MILES UNTIL TURNING etc BE A BIGGER FONT. Apart from this it’s very good.
Why is the routing type gone?!
The option to prefer interstate any all of the other options are now gone

New update, but still so bad it’s dangerous
I have used this navigation system as a company driver for one year. The danger comes from routes under low bridges. TN 7 in Ardmore is an example of low bridges. This app said go under this bridge. The system seems to always default to routing off the interstate onto city streets then back onto the interstate. The app regularly routes through streets marked as “no trucks”. If there is a truck route that you need to follow, this app will not follow it. The app usually says “take ramp and merge left” instead of turn right. There are NO truck entrances in the application. You will always be directed to the front door. Or it tries to get you to the center of the building. Annoyances are keep left or right as the interstate bears right or left for no purpose. “Use the left two lanes to stay on interstate xx” is what it says when there is an exit with two lanes exiting. Railroad crossings are noted in the app. However the distance is in yards, not miles or feet. It also misses several crossings or tells you of one phantom crossing halfway between two actual crossings “High Risk Rollover” areas are also in yards. The app also tells you all or them near your route, even if they are not on your route. The app does not tell you about traffic lights or stop signs like google or Apple Maps. Some positive elements are that it always shows the speed limit. It has the truck speed limit when there is a difference. Maps are clearly marked with adequate detail. However they do not show bridge weight or clearance information. Some of the text is too small to read.
Apple Car Play Update Is Useless!
As a long time user of this superb GPS satnav I was excited to see that the latest update introduced Apple Car Play functionality which meant I could finally use it in my modern car (I’ve only been using it in my classic car). However, the CoPilot Apple Car Play experience is hugely disappointing because the live traffic and safety camera alerts don’t appear anywhere. What is the point of updating the app for Apple Car Play if two of the main functions don’t work? Pointless.
What an Update!!!
The latest update brought this app right into the 20th century….great colors, better search engine and satellite and weather. It will be my go to app for RV navigation from now on.
Sucks
The new update sucks. This is the second major update I’ve goon through with this app and each one makes the app worse. When I started using it about 15 years ago it worked perfectly now it’s a pain to navigate through the app. I’m done! I’m going to Google Maps.
Disappointing after using the Android version
I have had some version of Copilot since version 1 when it came on a disk for Windows. It’s always been regularly updated in the past with new features using the latest technology but this no longer seems to be the case on iOS. I’ve read the other reviews where they say we’re finally getting CarPlay support. I sorely hope we’re getting at least some of the many missing features I noticed when trying out Copilot on my friends Android device. It’s pretty telling when Hammer, a competitor that was free until just a couple of months ago and still costs half of what the truck version of Copilot does even now, has had those features and more for literally years. As much as I like this app, it’s severely out of date at this point and needs to get with the times.
not a fan of the interface update
i’ve enjoyed the app for years. but this new design is kinda good but these buttons on the left are just annoying. i get that they want it to be super finger friendly but i just find it too much. i wish there was a way i could toggle them off in the settings. the old interface was so clean
Truck drivers using apple carplay
The app is great but it would be better with apple CarPlay support because I have apple CarPlay in my 18 wheeler.
Truck Version
I‘m happy with Co Pilot since years. How can I ad the RV and Truck feature? I can not download the app for these vehicles. Too sad there is no „ad-on“ solution.
New update unusable
The new update is unusable. Now I’m stuck trying to find another GPS. So many glitches.
iPad WiFi Only not working with iOS 26
I am using wireless Duel XGPS150A with my iPad WiFi Only. It worked before switching to iOS 26, and stopped after. I also just added CoPilot to my wife’s IPad WiFi only running older version of iOS. It worked before switching just updated iOS to 26. It no longer works. Please fix with new version 11. Thank you.
Change for the worse
Switched to Apple last year and this app still having original UI was one of the only things I enjoyed. Unfortunately you decided to give this the same update as Android. Luckily I still have the apk from right before the switch I can sideload onto android tablet. Clunky trying to plug in routes which is only reason I open this. Deleted.
Ok ish app
This app really needs apple car play support. It’s a hassle trying to look at your small phone screen to make sure you’re heading the right way when approaching a turn. Trucker Path has apple car play support so the gps map shows up on your entertainment system screen. Co Pilot needs to go the same route! Also CoPilot needs to update the posted speed limits.
Best app for RVs and trucks
I love the app. No other app breaks roads into groups so you can avoid or favor types of roads. Plus vehicle height and weight. What is needed is routes to avoid alpr, speed, red light cameras.
iPad NO Fullscreen
Customer support says that next update will have full screen option but after more then a year they release update and still no full screen supported! Disappointed

This is a great app. It would be five stars if they had a compass. Please add a compass that can be activated/deactivated from the menu settings.
Routing options removed
Just updated to this new version. Interface makeover is good. But it looks like in the routing options (to save a vehicle profile) you have removed the excellent granularity for routing, where each road type you can set five options for strongly use down to strongly avoid. That was great. You could finely tune the routing. Now all you have is practical, fastest, shortest. Which makes this app less useful. What a shame. Why would you remove this option? Every other satnav does not have this level of granularity so CoPilot was in a league of its own. You just made your app ordinary now. 😢
HUGE SAFETY CONCER WITH AUDIO
This app works pretty good for the most part. Our company uses it to help us navigate our oversized loads and it does good for the most part. We deliver trusses to job sites that tractor trailers are not supposed to be in, such as log cabins in the mountains of Highlands, NC, to Lake houses around Norther Georgia & this app always tries to find the best way for us to get there. My only complaint is the audio. It has a HUGE bug on IPhone where if you are having the maps on unmuted, it keeps loosing audio. There is a huge list of things that cause this issue such as: using Siri, if you answer a phone call, if you make a phone call, if you connect to your truck stereo, if you connect any Bluetooth device such as AirPods or trucking headset, if you disconnect from any Bluetooth device. You literally have to close the app out SEVERAL times and redo your navigation and hope that the audio comes back on after the 8th time of you doing it. Hitting the “Mute/ Unmute button” does not help at all to get your audio back. This is a huge safety concern especially when you are hauling tractor trailers that the trailer alone is 75 feet long or can reach up to 16 feet wide requiring us to have Police escorts and regular escort vehicles with us in a convoy. If I relied on this app and didn’t use two other GPS devices at the same time, it would cause me to mess up quite a lot just from the audio issue alone. With loads that big, I can not afford to keep taking my eyes off the road and keep touching my phone to make sure that the app didn’t loose the audio. I love the app but please fix the audio issue. I have been using it for close to a year and have always had this issue. Today it caused me to mess up big time, I missed my turn because I had connected my airpods and lost audio. Causing me to have to get a road shut down, and close to five thousand dollars for a few big wreckers to come help me out of the situation. This was the only GPS I could rely on and it let me down today. Please fix this issue.
CarPlay
I sure would like to use it in Apple CarPlay!! I have had this for many years and would like it use it on my CarPlay.
Most recent and anticipated update leaves a lot to be desired!!
DO NOT DO THE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION UNTIL YOU CHECK IT OUT!! I used to use Copilot as my truck GPS religiously until they stopped updating it. Then I went to trucker path. Just found out that it’s been updated on Apple side so I downloaded it onto my iPad mini 6th gen running 26.6. I plugged in my first route and it won’t even calculate the stops. It also had difficulty finding standard address. It almost appears like it’s trying to run it like a Remote Desktop. The window won’t go full screen on my mini. Super buggy and most of the time when I tap a button nothing happens. I’m glad I only paid for a month instead of the year. Total absolute waste of $9.99. Going back to trucker path till that subscription runs out and then back to Garmin.
Thank you for improving compatibility with iOS 26.
Keep going. There’s more to do to make this work better in iOS 26.
Does not recognize addresses
This app does a poor job of recognizing the addresses for the campgrounds in national and state parks. I had to type the GPS coordinates before leaving home
New user
I just downloaded the app. There really needs to an option to input vehicle speed since a lot of companies govern their trucks. Like how garmin dezl gps has the option to input vehicle max speed to adjust the route time based on your max speed is. I will review this again after my trial period is over.

Still no CarPlay!
This was my favorite gps app for RV use—if using a phone holder. Unfortunately, the app will still not work with CarPlay. Having to get info from a small screen while driving is not a safe practice. Much as I hated to, I moved on to something that shows on a larger screen. It’s time for an update!
Great app for setting your own route
I love the multiple way point feature. I paid the one time fee for 3D view. Nocked it down to 4 stars only because active traffic has a monthly fee.
No voice
Seem to be having an issue with the voice. If il driving, its very important for me to not only see the direction but hear them as well. I’ve had to remove and redownload the app because the voice is not working (and yes I’ve made sure mute is off and volume is turn all the way up) it also sucks that I have manually type in the address. It would be better if I could just copy and paste
Not compatible with landscape mode
App works fairly fine for the most part but only in portrait view. If you use in in landscape mode, it won't function properly and will glitch. This may be a dealbreaker for those like me who use an iPad and are used to apps being in landscape mode. If you could fix this, i might rate it better.

Still no car play support
Imagine that. Still no car play support even tho this app has been around for years and so has car play. They were pushing to have CarPlay at the end of 2025. Still nothing. Very few updates ever. So if your thinking about getting this app, don’t expect much. Update 6/13/2026. Pathetic

Have been with CoPilot for years. Like every GPS, there are pros and cons. Still my fav when travelling by RV.
CoPilot for iPadOS 26
Please fix the Contact support for the iPad. Since the last update, the Contact support is missing. The support for iPhone is there but missing for the iPad. This is very frustrating as I have to copy and paste ow with the iPad and that’s my primary device. Thanks.
Modifying a saved trip
If you modify a saved trip, you have to type out the name again to save it back. You should be given the choice to auto save with the same name. I’ve been using Copilot for 20 years since we bought our motor home. Thank you.

No longer works.
When u upgraded to an iPhone 17 pro Max this app completely stopped working. After several years of wonderful service I cancelled my premium subscription. Lost almost a year that I paid for. This really sucks for me on so many fronts.
What happens to photo navigation
The reason I paid the extra was the photonav now it's gone the app is useless all the free ones are better ,Terrible thing to take out on update .I just recommended it to someone ,won't do that again .........
