Text gets cut off
This app needs better options on overlay or UI as I can’t tell if I’ve read the full page since it has been cut off at the top and the bottom I have tried to just in font using the advanced options. It’s simply not good enough and more work needs to be done otherwise a great app concept.

Too restrictive
Too restrictive, no ability to for a longer term , snd quickly reach the limit if try to borrow again. It’s pretty useless app
Doesn’t support multiple libraries
I love the app and the different reader customisation settings. However, I am a member of 2 libraries but there’s no option for me to add a second library like Libby (both of the libraries split their catalogue over Libby and BorrowBox so I can’t just use that). I hope this functionality will be added in the future 🤞

Disappointed can only use one library at a time
Feel like I am not getting the best use out of BorrowBox as can only use one library at a time whilst other products like Libby allow you to use multiple libraries at the same time thus have greater choice of collection. Update: In response to developer response: If I was able to sign into borrowbox with two different library cards at the same time like I can with libby I would be able to benefit from the borrowbox collection of two different libraries instead of having to sign into one library have the book not be available have to sign out and the sign in to second library to find the book. Your solution requires me to continuously sign in or out or go to the effort to make a purchase recommendation and the wait weeks to see if purchase recommendation is accepted then I might get the book. Libby lets me sign in with both cards see what’s available at multiple libraries at once hassle free.

The audiobooks don’t change. I find it hard to find something. I haven’t listened to.
Great audiobook app
I love reading but hate spending money on books that I only read once. So now using this app and together with my library card I can borrow ebooks and audiobooks whenever I like. I love listening to audiobooks in my car using Apple CarPlay. However I have to open the book on my iPhone before I start driving as it only plays via the standard Apple audio player. It needs its own app so that I can choose the book I want and start it while driving. I can do this with Libby as it has its own Apple CarPlay app. Only four out of five stars from me until it gets a companion CarPlay app.

Can’t cope with you trying to log In from another device, locks you out of everything and then you have to go into a library to reset it, whoever designed this app must have shares in kindle as they are driving people towards it.

I use audio books, love it but the queue for books is getting longer and longer and the choices seem to be getting fewer as well.

Loving BorrowBox
It’s great to be able to listen to so many wonderful audiobooks on BorrowBox through my Library. This is an amazing service and I really appreciate it. It would be good if BorrowBox could make some suggestions for me based on the books I have listened to already. I would like more of the emerging Australian authors books available in the audiobooks.
Waste of time
Would be nice if the app stated in the beginning that it is a United Kingdom app only.
Was working great
Great app !! But all of a sudden I can’t renew a book and now can’t sign in despite email address being recognised and attempting to renew password I’m now locked out of my account and library card
Must have when traveling
Having an audio book when on holidays is a must have. It allows you to relax while you are travelling. Also when on a plane it is great to listen to a good quality book. Thank you Borrow Box for supplying this wonderful resource.
STILL NO AirPlay!!!
The app itself works fine, but I’ve come to the AppStore just to leave this review in the desperate hope it will help convince the powers that be that airplay functionality for this app is thoroughly overdue. Every other reading and audiobook app has one — Libby, Cloudlibrary, Audible, you name it. As an avid listener to books when I drive, the lack of an airplay button for BorrowBox means I actively avoid using the app where I can. Please, please, finally sort this out.
Great app
This app is great. I like how it can be used without wifi. One problem that happens to me is that when I want another book and I’m offline, it doesn’t let me because it says I need wifi. If this app lets you listen offline then how come it doesn’t let you download it offline????
Waiting lists are an issue
The waiting list for some books is ridiculously long why not more copies available ?

Sorting by genre doesn’t let you sort by children’s books which would be a big help

Oh my gosh I love it, although I wish there would be more books it is AMAZING!!!!! I have been using this for 5-6 YEAR AND IM STILL USING THIS APP!!!! Something you should work on are the genre and amount of books.

Terrible UX for reading
App forced by my library. Try to read an ebook and the chrome of the app is hiding the top and bottom of the page, cutting off whole sentences. Guessing the developers never bothered to try anything smaller than a flagship phone with huge screen.

I wish that there was more books available. Like I need a book for school and it’s not there or like I’ve been listerning to the nanny piggens books but the whole seasons not there only like mis matching ones like book 1,2,3,6 and like 15 or something stupid like that.
