I’m so disappointed with this app. When it was Lending Club I never had any problems but now it’s been down for days.
Auto Pay
Have auto pay sit up in case I forget date but hope there will be a time I can pay extra. Like that option.
Payment options
App does not give option to pay monthly amount. Only partial. I want to pay on weekly larger amounts. Very confusing. Then you have to go a different payment app to use debit card which only gives options for principal payment, again very confusing
LendingClub experience was much better!
3 stars for smooth approval processes. But lost 2 stars as transaction experiences have been horrible under “Happen”! Nobody has a clue what they’re doing and customer support blindly copy-paste generic responses. Payments are not processed in time and blames the customer for their delays. Checking and Loan departments must start talking to each other and act as a single entity. Both of them tell customers to talk to the other party while the customer is left on a goose chase. Like what the heck! 🤷🏻♂️

Double Check
Loan/Top Up process has been a breeze and the money takes a day or two, BUT now I see Happen has reported my new Top Up loan TWICE showing my overall debt significantly higher. Customer service is limited on weekends, maybe work on that.

Several times to use the Right bank account. It refuses to allow me to.

Eff Happen Bank
Refused to help me even though I've been a loyal customer making all of my payments on time for at least 10yrs. They are lying on their site where they have “financial hardship? Call us to help”. Additionally my reoccurring savings transfer that I successfully cancelled and isn't even showing as active and yet the funds were still withdrawn. They also have no way of contacting them except by phone like its 1995. Srsly Lending Club & Happen Bank can eff the eff off.

I don’t like that I cannot make a payment to my account that is higher than my expected monthly payment and have it count as both my monthly payment plus some additional money paid. The app forces me to make my monthly payment and then in add whatever additional money I want to pay in a separate transaction.
Grateful
On August 11th, the area where I live was hit by a severe storm that caused significant damage throughout several surrounding cities. Many homes were destroyed, and there were widespread power outages that continued for days and ongoing. I personally remained without power for approximately 13 days. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, I had to take this approach. Long story short, I am truly grateful for this loan, as it has helped alleviate some of the financial stress brought on by this difficult situation.

What a waste of my valuable time. This bank has been such an upsetting experience, especially as it took me time and energy for absolutely nothing. I definitely advise everyone to avoid this bank at all costs.

I’m so tired of everything being an ad. I’m so tired of companies developing strategies to extract money from me instead of trying to win my business by developing products that are better than the competition. My udders are dry. Could I turn add notifications off in my settings? Maybe. But the fact that I am constantly needing to pry the creeping corporate hands off of me is driving me crazy. Also, the name ‘Happen Bank’ is cringe af. I’m paying off a personal loan this month, and ima go see what’s happening elsewhere.

Annoying Pushy Ads!
Upon every time you login, there is an offer being shoved in your face to sign up for a checking account or other finance product. It doesn’t go away even after you click dismiss. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP AND GET RID OF IT!

I’ve worked extremely hard to create and maintain really good credit, but Happen was the first one (now will be the only one) who successfully managed my information into a supportive loan to comfortably replace my roof. Thank you Team Happen!
