I always have issues with logging into the app with face id and then it never accepts my password when I try to type it in.
Banker at OneUnited bank
I have been with one united bank for years and any problems I have had they handle immediately and they alert me and handle any fraud and block immediately if they feel it’s suspicious
Behind the times
If you don’t have a California identification, you cannot open a CD. You can withdraw your funds as I did but, you can’t open a certificate of deposit. Not to mention Docusign. Why should I be surprised!
Was Good at First
I’ve been a member and using the app for roughly two years now. For the since May or so I have not been able to view any account balances on the app nor online. I have been told about two months ago that they are a water of this and have no timeframe or updates of when the problem will be resolved. I was never notified that this issue was happening or that they were on top of it, which feels unprofessional for such a well known company to not have the courtesy to do so. I’ve been having to use the phone service to check account information. I have since withdrawn all funds and unlinked all other accounts. I loved the idea of banking black and the resources that are on the app. I don’t want to close accounts but I can’t bank like this. Also noticing they have no longer been responding to reviews on here either. Does not appear to be doing well overall.
Crashes a lot
I like the app, but can we get an update because it has some bugs and glitches. Then it crashes a lot.

This by far is one of the BEST banks I’ve ever had, they are understanding and caring when it counts!
Terrible bank
This bank making it extremely difficult to close out your account. It is such an inconvenience banking with them, there are no near by atms that you can deposit money into your account. I’ve had too many issues with them. I’m done! Now that I stopped my direct deposit now the app doesn’t work to access the little money that I have left. Worked fine before I stopped the direct deposit.
Too Many Glitches
The app WORKS however it seems like it’s “catching up with itself.” If I make a change on my account it takes a while for it to update to that change. Also, if I try to connect an external account it keeps telling me my credentials are wrong, but I try them on the actual institutions website/app and it works just fine.
Denying my purchases is annoying
Every time I try to buy things online I have issues!

Closed my account
One United bank closed my account for no reason at all recently which I didn’t like because I liked how certain ATMs I could deposit cash to with ease but they need to improve on the app as far as check deposits go

The last time I will EVER support a black business. It’s literally going to be a month since I ordered this card. I can’t connect to other accounts, I can’t move money. One thing you don’t do is play with somebody money. Unprofessional,unreliable, worse experience with a bank of my life
Just decent
The app is fine. It honestly has too much stuff up there for my liking. My biggest problem is with the bank itself. I LOVE supporting a Black owned bank, and I know they support my community, but transferring money to the bank takes way too long for modern times. I have an account with a different bank and money shows up 24-36 hours after I send it. This bank takes 3 days minimum for funds to show up.

One united gives bad custom experience. Almost impossible to speak to a human rep. They are not knowledgeable passing the issue to any system automated. Any request TO A HUMAN you are forwarded to submit online, email etc. The online system does not pay bills on time IF AT ALL!!!! Stealing the money never paying the payee. Again all inquiries are fwded to any system automated! The online system also does not transfer money to accounts and request. Completed robotically run! One united is not properly monitored or run by a human or intelligence. Too many hiccups the customer pays for. I’ve accumulated fees, unreceived funds transferred amd no response compassion or even apology from one united. H. O. R. R. I. B. L. E!!! DO BETTER

Issues logging in
I’ve been trying to log in for an hour now. I received the code, reply back and I’m still stuck on the log in screen. It’s annoying, if I knew I would have these problems, I wouldn’t have opened an account.

Finance with a side of attitude
Without a doubt THE WORST bank I’ve ever had to deal with. The incompetence is off the charts, not to mention their debit cards only work with Apple Pay when they feel like it, can’t use PayPal, can no longer use Zelle and they will charge you for EVERYTHING. And everything comes with a hefty serving of black attitude, especially on the phone. The ONLY reason I came to this bank is because I’m black and wanted to support my people. But this bank is a BIG mistake. Bank with them at your peril
Much better experience
I’m shocked that I can give a positive review of One United Bank since I used to experience bad customer service and a horrible phone system. Now, much better customer service that gives you the correct answer and a phone system is having you talk to the right staff not wrong customer support team or wrong department. I hope One United Bank stay customer friendly with right information and keep the new good phone system.
