Beloved since childhood!!
I have been in love with this game for years and I will never grow tired of it! It’s so calming and therapeutic. The artistic design is so lovely to me, whichever artists are in charge of designing the dragons deserve all the appreciation in the world because not only do they have incredible eyes for color, but the dragon designs are SO endearing. I have grown emotionally attached to more than a few of these critters <3 The community has always been kind and events rotate frequently so there’s always something to do. The Dragon Tales are my personal favorite, I adore learning the lore of the Dragon Isles and its dragons! My singular gripe with the game would be a few visual bugs that manifested over the years without fix, such as the leading screen being off center in places. I also wish they would bring back decor items from previous events. (Would love to get the decor items I had on my old island from the Forging a Hero dragon tales event from my old island!) But that’s really it! All in all this game means the world to me and Dragon Story was one of my inspirations to become an artist!

I like the game but sometimes you don’t have enough time to make all the materials to get the dragons and you have to buy gold which is getting more and more expensive l try and get all the dragons in the dragon tails and quests but you have to he one step ahead if not you loose out and you have to keep up with sending gold to your friends l have been playing for 11 years now lt sometimes makes me wonder if it’s worth all the time and money l have spent on it but no one e,se has got a island full of dragons like mine so l guess it is worth it after all lt is sometimes annoying when l nearly get the dragon in the bomb cave and l run out of time to get it too also there used to be a button which you could press to get all the coins at once instead of tapping on each habitat it would make things so much easier ….
Game keeps messing up
You need to fix the game so it works Ì have played this game for years but over the last couple years it has went down hill the game crashes and sometimes during the events where you have to do certain things it just quits working so I have quit playing the events. Now I see black boxes on many of the islands and the corn hole board won’t let me collect anything. Seems the only thing that never breaks are he never ending pop ups for your other games which I won’t be trying since you guys do not seem to care if your games work or not and I sure would never spend money in the games due to the fact they malfunction on a daily basis .

Not Happy At All
Support is a joke! I haven’t been able to play in the Mine for more than six months. It is locked. Each time I try to access the Mine, the game disconnects. I have three expansions from the Mine but I read there are 10 available. I have contacted Support more than once and they continue to tell me to ask for help in the Community Forums. What kind of support is that? NONE! I will probably stop playing soon after playing for more than six years!
Great but…
This game is good and all but, whenever I want to watch a free ad for coins or other items, it’s always say that “the video failed to load” and it really gets on my nerves, so can you please fix this. But, that’s the only reason why this game doesn’t get a five-star review🤗
What this game is really like.
This game runs really slow. You spend a lot of time waiting for it to process and move from screen to screen. The longer you play this game, you get thrown in with a group of people who are spending lots of $$$ to win the different challenges and prizes offered. You don’t really have a chance if you don’t pay. So if you’re into just breeding dragons or spending lots of $$$, this games for you.

I had a prismscale dragon that I already hatched & evolved on my island and I had some in storage as well and they all disappeared this morning??? I’m so shocked and I’m not sure how to resolve this
Not so happy
I truly enjoy playing Dragon Story. I’ve been playing for over 12 years now a year and a half ago with the game crashed for nearly 8 months I had over 200 gold when the game crashed when it came back on I had zero and I was very upset, but I continue to play this game because I like it and now today the game crashes in the middle of gameplay and now it won’t come back on again so how long is this gonna take this time and if anything is missing? Also quite a few of us DS players feel as though we should be able to send gifts of gold to more than 3 others per day if not all friends. It is a game and after all of these years , where is the select all button especially when requesting mystic maps! ????? Loading takes up to 3 minutes sometimes.

I’ve been playing since 2012. Wasn’t bad in the beginning but the game has changed and not for the better. The Processor is very slow and I spend a lot of time waiting to get visits done. Also very glitchy and updates are few and far between. At one point I couldn’t access the game for over two years due to processing problems. Storm 8 needs to get it together and improve game play and speed. Very unreliable. After 14 years I’m about ready to call it quits if improvements aren’t made

I loved this game 10 years ago and I love it even more now. Getting back into my dragon breeding games and Dragon Story is by far always one of my go to favorites!
Very glitchy
I used to play dragon story and thought I would try the game again. Sadly it’s been very glitchy. It’s very slow to load, freezes a lot, randomly will reset a few seconds, etc. Just disappointing.
Cool
This game was one of my best, but since one year, there’s many bugs on it. I lost the Leaderboard a couple of times because of this. I was on the top and of sudden I can’t access to Leaderboard. I came last without any price or explanations. By the way, it’s a cool game. I, sincerely hope it will be fixed soon! Thanks for the game!
Ad-Riddled and Slow
I grew up playing this game, and thought I’d revisit it for some nostalgia after a decade, and WOW I forgot how annoyingly slow the first crawl of this game is. Ads will also start playing with NO warning and disrupt what I’m doing, which gets very frustrating. I understand this game probably doesn’t make much profit, but disrupting gameplay with unskippable ads is genuinely infuriating. Very sad to see what a shell this game has become
my first game
this was the first game i downloaded on my ipod 4 very nostalgic but it could use some quality of life features like to expand needing maps by having friends ik they make it easy to find people but im having to sell dragons to keep breeding and the pop ups are so annoying makes it way less enjoyable i feel like they just use every game as a funnel to there other games and i dont like being manipulated
Awesome Game
I really enjoy Dragon Story it is fun game. I wish the game was easier to progress without the need to spend money. You definitely do not have to spend money in this game. Trying to get maps to expand and certain aspects of the game can be challenging without spending money. Even without spending money Dragon story is a fun game where you collect cool dragons. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a fun game to fill up some free time in the day.

I’ve been trying to open a few of your apps. It doesn’t want to open. I can’t give my storm id cuz it’s in the app. Can you update all the story apps so I can continue to play them. It’s getting really frustrating. Thank you.

I’ve been looking for a simple pass time game where you raise cute animals, this is perfect, there’s a few to many adds that randomly pop up, but it’s honestly great if you’re looking for a game where you don’t need to strategize all the time

I’ve played this game for years and it was so much fun. The last two years it has changed so much. The dragons are not as cute and there is to many bugs. The tech team doesn’t help you anymore. They take long to reply if they reply at all. Not worth it anymore

Bingo game unfair to lower levels
You need to fix the fairness of the bingo competition. I am always the lowest level (105) with more than half, 14 or so players at Max level (200) they always win. Every single week. They have tons of resources and champions dragons plus every single gold dragon available. This week in a room where all are level 150 and above. Just a note, maybe put level 140-200 together 90-139 together and lower levels together. Even the playing field.

ADS ARE BROKEN
You will be locked out of the game WHENEVER an ad pops up. 90% of your screen will go black after you try to breed your dragons or try to get rewards for watching ads or anything involving ads. Only the bottom border of the game doesn’t turn black. Please fix this bug. The game is pretty unplayable like this

This game should be a pretty good time filler, but the constant pop-ups when you first load up the app bring it down heavily. After you play for 2 days they throw in ads for opening a menu, and dont even give a pay-to-play option to get rid of them. Until any of this gets fixed, this game will be worth 3 stars at its best
Severe glitches
I’ve been playing this game for 12 years, since 2014. Every time I get enough food to level up my dragons, I feed them, and then it glitches and removes the amount of food I just obtained as well as what I fed my dragon. Not being able to feed the dragons renders the game completely unplayable since it is such a key factor in the playability of the game. There are many, many bugs alongside this as well, but this is a very major one.
Enthralling Game
I’ve been playing this game for 14 years. It is fun to build your island. What I like most about it is that the choices are completely up to the player on where to place the habitats, dragons, buildings and decor. No two islands are exactly the same. The events are engaging and it is fun to work for unique dragons. I also like the social aspect of being able to have neighbors that you can visit and interact with. The game is very interactive and interesting. I play more sometimes than others, but it keeps me coming back.

Love hate relationship
I love playing this game and have since it came out . Tbh the amount it has changed and most dragons are only available to get are unavailable from breading which means you have to constantly complete the league games, battle arena, and other that are now constantly on where it used to be only once in a while but most are set at a rate that you are unable to complete unless you spend obsessive amounts of gold to win and gold price have over doubled and changes depending on what device I use apple and this one is set higher for gold than Samsung. Don’t do what I did and try getting gold in hopes you get new dragon as it’s a 90% chance you will get the old common dragon 10% you will get something new if your just . Food to get your dragon up level have also increased so also unbelievable task to get expecting you to get again buy. They have also moved the goal of levelling up your dragon from 10 max now you can level up higher but also this so you spend and can not complete the dragon arena quest . The expansion time on the game needs to be less in my opinion and nit have so much debris to remove and pay after that can take up to 6 hr for trees and stones again you can pay with gold. So if you have got this far with my review then bearing all this in mind and your just starting out it can be quite fun for new players as you will not have any dragons but please go in with open mind not to get caught up with buying gold it becomes addictive and I have spent a hell of a lot of money on this game over the yrs and I am at level 200 after 14 yrs so okay for fun and don’t get addicted to buying gold it’s expensive and doesn’t really make a difference
Frustrated
For several days I’ve tried to finish the challenge for bingo so I can play the next card. It thinks for a moment then kicks me back to finish challenge screen. Been happening for several days. Also when I attempt to watch ad so I can spin for extra points I get a black screen with a thin boarder Have to close out the game and sign back in. All this after being forced to take a 3+ year hiatus from the game because it wasn’t opening
Fun, but unbelievably glitchy
Played this game for over 10 years now, and while I do still enjoy it, my god does it have a lot of bugs. Especially with saving progress. You will do things like win challenging battles, breed ultra rare dragons, or plant crops, only to find none of your progress was saved. Or it will randomly kick you off. Or have trouble logging in. They are doing better with new dragon design and every month has its own theme, so it keeps you coming back, but if you’re not a patient person, skip it.

i have been playing bingo in the game and it keeps going back to a previous challenge i have completed and wont reset to a full bingo to go next. i believe it needs another bug fix Storm 8.

I used to play this a lot and try to collect as many dragon as possible and fully expand my island, but nowadays this game is just full of bugs, not to mention it didn’t work for my for about 10 months on 3 different devices …

I clicked off of twelve screens only to be met with an unskippable ad. Such An infuriating part of my day and I love this game and it happens every single time I open it. This is probably why I quit the first time and will be the reason I quit this time

Frustrating
Great game, now S8 have sorted the logging in issues….getting rid of the adverts which the game wouldnt support?? But…after several years of being locked out I was delighted to find I could play again, for a couple of weeks! Now the game is barely playable as it goes to a black screen at any hatching, placing, evolving completion. This involves complete shutdown and restart by which time a bingo challenge has expired or LB points have been lost. Very frustrating, shame on S8!

I’ve not played this game for too long, but so far I have no objections and think the game is great. Some things are a liiitle bit expensive, and timers are a few hours too long for beginners, but I’ve experienced no hardships in progressing, and have fun playing this game.
Dragon Story
I have been playing this game for many years, and enjoyed doing so, there is a huge problem of being kicked off the game every 3-5 minutes or so which is very frustrating, my original game kicked me out in October and I have been unable to get back in, it tells me constantly that I require internet access which I have and use daily on other games, BUT Dragon Story is still inaccessible and I have not been on my game since. I have a new game on my phone and it now has started to constantly kick me off the game, I also do not like playing on my phone I would rather have my iPad to play on but cannot get into the game due to the constant message that I should check my internet connection, STORM8 please fix the game, I want to play on my original game and your support is asking so many questions but I know you can get onto my game as you did so earlier in the year when someone was being disgusting and you went on easily enough and deleted their comments but now you are unable to even go to my game. Sort it before this one on my phone makes me stop playing altogether due to the same problems. I don’t know if anyone reads these reviews but they are not acted upon, also if I go on a quest to get maps I don’t want to pay for maps and get coins or food which cost less to go on. Update, locked out of both my games, please update this game so we can continue to play it.
Repetitive and boring
It’s a real shame how the developers have neglected this game’s evolution so much. There are only two events which alternate for the rest of time: dragon tales and a leaderboard event. After a while it gets repetitive and boring. Looking at its competitors in the market like ‘Dragon City’ are constantly adding new and exciting features shows this games potential. Yet it hasn’t been updated in 4 WHOLE YEARS! This game has massive potential which I fear will remain wasted. If you’re reading this developers please include: - More event types other than leaderboard and dragon tales - short storylines to existing events to add some exciting lore - pvp rather than fighting random dragons at the colosseum
