Great Game!!
I have played this game since I was younger and continued to play into adulthood. It is such a good game and always was to decrompress and relax for the day. Its entertaining and there are many dragons to collect. Another great feature is that you can get what you want by working for it, this game isn't just pay to win. I commend the developers as well for keeping this game amazing for so long and only improving it!!
Bugs & Glitches Galore
I have no clue what happened to this game, but it is full of bugs and glitches. Do not waste your time watching videos from the hot air balloon as 50% of the time it freezes and a message appears stating “Oops Tolzar Detected Something Went Wrong” and it cheats you out of the item you were supposed to receive. Same thing if you watch videos to speed up hatch times. Same stupid message. And, this is super hilarious, if you e-mail support, always the same reply “Please reply with a screenshot or detailed video showing the problem.” This game has went to trash in the last few years.
My opinion
The game is so fun It’s just that I can’t find my wish list.
Keeps crashing
As I am simply collecting or when I try to get bonus’ it crashes and I loose out on items. On a newer phone with latest update.

Good. The only thing is I’m not aloud to buy ANYTHING in games. And before you say that’s not your problem, I bet there are other people who also can’t. And I’m just not getting enough gems to buy things I need. I just got this one dragon from breeding, and I’ve wanted it for ages. But I don’t have enough gems to buy it a habitat. So please either make it easier to get gems and or so you can trade money to get gems. Please consider these options! Other than that tho, this game is actually really good. Oh, and I HATE the new sand land update. Have a nice day.
Soooo nostalgic
Hey! I first played this game with my older sibling when I was in PRESCHOOL. I have so many fond memories of this game growing up and is up there in my favorite childhood things with mac and cheese, scooby-doo, and The Octonauts. Imagine my glee when I download this game again after years of not playing and realize it hasn’t changed at all! Yes, there are new dragons and stuff, but it’s no longer a cash-grabbing little kids game that force-feeds you adds every other second. I’ve been logging in every day since I downloaded it again. Thanks to the devs for making my childhood.
Wanted to like it
I wanted to like this game, but every minute or so the server crashes and my progress is reset. If y’all are able to fix this, I’ll try again. But as it stands, it’s a cute, but unplayable game.
Amazing. Just one issue.
The game is great, I’ve played it on and off for years. A game you can play for a few minutes every day and come back to at least once a day, since things like breeding and egg hatching take awhile. You can get just about every dragon for free if you’re patient and play long enough. HOWEVER, do NOT use the “piggy bank” feature to buy gems. It will just take your money, get you stuck on a loading screen, and will not give you any gems. Please fix this.
2 minute ads
This went from one of my favorite games to one I play twice a day. The ads are the problem. You can watch an ad and then get a message saying ‘Sorry, Tolzar turned the wrong dial” and not get the credit, even though you watched the ad. About 2 weeks ago, 2 minute ads started and it takes another 10 seconds for the ‘x’ to work. I know ads are necessary for game play but this game is trashed with ridiculous ads now! 14 years of happiness destroyed by greed! 5 star to 2 star.
Good but could be better
I like this game but I hate being forced to go through a tutorial every time a new event occurs. If a way was added to turn it off this game would be perfect.

Great but…
This is a great game, I love the dragons you can collect and all of the features that are in the game! But I don’t like the wait times that you have to wait for baby dragons and for stuff to be moved. If you could maybe have the wait times go down a little that would make this an even better game. Thank you!
Sloooooooow
This game loads in soooo slow that it’s impossible to play without WiFi & with WiFi it takes forever to load in & purchases also take forever. I just want to play this game & relax. Please can the loading issue be fixed?
Over 20 times trying to breed one dragon
I’ve been playing this game everyday for about two years and always able to breed the pair recommended for a new dragon but ever since I bought the twilight tower and the weather station I can’t breed anything new, there is no clear instruction on how to use these stations. Also, I’ve been breeding the same recommended pairings for 3 weeks in a row. Can this be explained? Or fixed?

Hey, DECA. I’ve been a fan of the game even back when Backflip Games still existed. I don’t want much, but I have two great suggestions for one of your next updates. 1: So, you know how the Weather Station has a “None” setting? (Basically the default weather) I’d like the Twilight Tower to have that too, where the time and stuff automatically changes. And 2: Why can’t you buy event dragons, decorations, etc. from the Dragonarium or goal list? It makes you go to the event market instead. Please change this.

Need an Option to Visit Non-Friends' Islands
I just started playing today, and while I’m enjoying the game, I’d like an option to visit non-friends' islands. I don’t have Facebook and I have no friends in Game Center. Other dragon games I’ve played in the past aren’t limited like this. I think this would be a good thing to implement into the game. I don’t want to be stuck with just the NPC's island. That’s boring.
System Issues
I love this game but continuous freezing up crashing. Support has been contacted so many times by so many players and it just is not getting fixed. We have lost numerous coins event points and gems due to these issues.
Good game but i haven’t got alot of my gems.
I used to play dragonvale when i was little and i got it back to enjoy it once more but ive done the offer wall to get gems and it didnt give me all of them and only a few. Also when i broke the piggy bank a few minutes ago it only gave me the gift and no gems.
Love this game!
I've been playing this game since I was a kid and its always had a special place in my heart. I think with all the events this game has it keeps things exciting, new dragons to breed, new items to work towards. Everything about this game is pretty much being done the right way or at least always going in the right direction. The only complaint I have is about the Twilight Tower and Weather Station. I wish there was an option to reset them, so that the music or weather from an event will be set up, or if there is no event at all. I wouldn't want to guess which music or weather goes with whatever event is happening so I can get the full experience of the game. I kinda gave up and I've just had the Tower and Weather on the same setting since who knows when. But even then, the game is amazing and I'll always take care of my dragons!
charged me WAY too much
I've been playing dragonvale since I was a little kid, and I just recently downloaded it again because my family members still play it, and I was bored. I made a purchase of $4.99, and obviously tax comes with it too—but I was charged $8.45. Huh..? I'm a teenager so I have like NO money, but thank god that was actually in my account. I have nowhere to get actual support because the emails aren't being monitored, and the website is trash because you can't get a hold of an actual person. Just refund me the whole thing atp. The game is JUST a waiting game. You have to be the most patient person on the planet or pay to win.

Great game for dragon lovers, good to play every 12 or so hours and small details! I saw a park visitor carrying the pride flag, which I think is very supportive.
Nothing to Do
I really love the idea of breeding and collecting dragons, but as a beginner player there is really not a lot to do. I got a few dragons, but don’t have room to expand and I need an exorbitant amount of gems to do anything. I only check in once or twice a day and it feels like I’ll never get anywhere unless I spend money. There needs to be more incentive for a new player to play free, otherwise it creates mistrust in how expensive everything will be.
Takes too long
I can see why I didn’t play this game for too long when I first installed it. I redownloaded this game on a bored whim, saw I had no progression beyond having only one dragon, and decided to give it another try. And honestly, this game is ridiculous towards new players. It shouldn’t take twelve hours to breed what are basically the beginner dragons, and another twelve to hatch them. Especially if the results are just common rarity dragons. Everything takes so much time, between breeding, hatching, and upgrading and buying buildings, so much more than other dragon collecting games I’ve played, which at least ramp up in their time requirements more gradually. I get that having things take a while promotes spending to speed things up, but this is so demotivating for new players and makes progress feel so slow that it doesn’t feel worth it to keep playing, in addition to being boring. Open the game, finish breeding, collect materials, and then close the game for another really long while until your egg can hatch. At least, that’s how it feels to me, YMMV. I’m sure for players at higher levels there’s probably more to do, but for new players, I can’t imagine many would be willing to stick around to get there or even spend money to speed the process up.
Return and events
I've played this game when I was very young and loved it then. I redownloaded it a decade later and am more than impressed with the updates the developers have done with the game! The current event is astral/night themed with beautiful dragons/items/habitats/themes to collect. I wish I could collect them all but I'm enamored by the very fact they did this. And now I'll be able to collect the zodiac dragons! I had to start all over but I'm glad I did to come back to this.

To expensive
Love the game but everything is to expensive please put a sale I really want the rainbow dragon but around 50 to 60 and I don’t have enough gems so it is expensive to buy
Fire whoever did recent update
I LOVE this game, been playing for years. However, the care the developers have for the game is seemingly decreasing. All text boxes have placeholder texts, the dragons are glitching and stuck in place, and what is the purple blob zooming around the island? Please double check before releasing updates, this looks sloppy on an otherwise lovely game.
Remove ads and all will be fixed.

Been playing DV for about 9 years and still log in daily! Love all the beauty and color in this game! The developers do such a wonderful job! Prettiest game out there!! And the dragons are awesome!!
Ads not appropriate for children
We played this as a family, and good thing too. The ads start off innocent, and then grow more and more suggestive and inappropriate. So disappointing.
Pretty good except for one thing.
Like the title suggests, this game is pretty good except for the fact that it progresses quite slowly once you have higher levels, and mostly depends on you spending actual money on items since it is a mobile game and is required to have transactions to make money. Also the advertisements can be weirdly suggestive, even if you are set to a younger age, BUT it probably is not the developers fault, but the people who allow the advertisements to be run, since i’ve seen this is multiple other games.
Constant crashing
Stable internet connection on new iPhone and constantly crashes where I can’t even play for longer than 2 min without crashing

Played the game for ages. Absolutely love the game. Big issue that turns me away from it regularly is the load times. Playing on one of the newest iphones so that’s not the issue. Regularly hav load times up to 10mins long. Ridiculous. Other than that tho. Great game

Too many tutorials
I can’t control my own game and layout, too many tutorials for the wrong reason. I can’t keep my gems to use on something else. It forces me to use the gems, this game is disgusting!
Awesome and relaxing game 😌 but a big annoying problem I want you to fix
DragonVale is a fun and relaxing game that is easily one of my top favourite games. It has a lot of dragons to collect and it has a lot of experiences I totally recommend this game for any dragon lovers. But I would want you to fix something very annoying. Well let me tell you. There’s something really wrong about the dragon track that will also annoy the other players. Sometimes when I tapped on the yellow speeding line it just doesn’t speed me up and I just feel like the game doesn’t want me to win the race literally and I’m very mad 😡 with this problem right now please fix it And thank you 😊

Absolutely amazing game
I’ve been playing dragon vale for almost 10 years now, and it’s is the funnest tycoon game that I’ve ever played

Genuinely horrible. So many issues top to bottom. DragonCity in my opinion is way better. The races are the best part and they suck. You can have the elements correct and hit all perfects and still lose. Why play a game ur destined to lose. No point. Dragon city lets you battle. Use ur dragons and much more. DragonVale I wish upgraded but it’s the same as it was in 2012
Too hard to get dragons
I’ve been playing the game for many years and the one thing I’ve noticed more recently is it is nearly impossible to get the new dragons. You can spend a whole event just trying to get one dragon. Now when your as far through the game as I am and have been playing as long as I have this is one thing that’s going to turn me away from playing. I’m pretty patient but I’d like to be able to breed more than one new dragon each event. After the most recent event I can confirm that with over 400 tries to breed 1 dragon that some dragons just can’t be breed.
25 minute loading time
Every time/day i open this game it takes a minimum of 20-25 minutes to load and open, i’m only level 22 with plenty of storage on my phone. I know this game usually opens instantly so what’s the problem?
The quests. God the quests.
I love the game. It’s much better than its competitors in the sense of you can get by without spending money on it if you don’t want to or don’t have it. The only issue I can think of is the quests. Specifically how they’re assigned. I haven’t touched my Perch of Kairos in months, and likely won’t touch it or Gaia for many months more as both have come up with quests that are best done by dragons of types that I either don’t have or cannot house anywhere because the only way to get their habitat is through events. I believe I even had it once occur that I received a quest asking for a baseline type (plant, fire, earth, ect) that was locked at the time. These quests take a lot of time and already do not have a guaranteed chance of receiving a piece even if we send a dragon of the correct type. The fact that we can get dud missions is effectively like pissing on a grave. A few ways to fix it: 1. Sending a dragon who’s types are all amongst the preferred types will always result in them returning with a piece. Eg, a sending a plant dragon on a quest preferred elements of plant and water yields a piece, but sending a fire dragon on that same quest will yield anything from nothing to food or coin. 2. Assign quests based on the types of dragons over level 4 in a park. 3. Change it so all quests now have at least one, unlocked, baseline element in their preferred elements. This is harder for Perch of Kairos as I do believe there are some elements that are unlocked after receiving it, but it’s simple with Gaia, no more single type quests, like instead of just Aurora, it’s Aurora and Air.

Love this game! keeps crashing with ads tho
I absolutely love this game, have been playing since i was a kid and it still works the same. The only thing is recently, when i wanted to get a breeding hint i’d watch the “vision” (an ad) but the ad would get almost to the end and the app would close, i go back in but the thing i watched the ad for is never given to me, it’s been happening more lately and haven’t been able to watch an ad without the game crashing. Hope to see this resolved soon :)

Since the new update the app crashes every time you place a game for a Ruby or extra points. Not sure why you had to update game. It’s no good, as is.
Game keeps crashing
I’ve been playing for years and up until today my game has always loaded fine on my phone. I have plenty of storage space and good internet connection, the game loads fast like usual but as soon as i enter the game it says a wizards spell went wonky and reloads then crashes and does the same thing. I don’t know what to do. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no changes. How can I fix this?
