Great app for food lovers
Burpple is a really useful app for discovering new places to eat. I love being able to browse food recommendations, check out reviews and save places I want to try. The deals and promotions are a great bonus too. Definitely a handy app for anyone who enjoys eating out!
Very stupid app
Cannot login!! keep asking about authentication but cannot receive email tried many many times and no other ways to login!!! How did you design and develop it???very very bad ux

Not many options at places like Vivocity, the app doesnβt entice me to subscribe.

I actually prefer the old version which all you need is to select location and category. The current one is not so user-friendly.

A great app to look for good food deals especially 1 for 1 Deals that saves lots of money and yet having great food

the app either canβt open or crashed when i wanted to use it. in the end had to pay full price.

The 1 for 1 deals help to save a lot of money. Would recommend to offer more restaurants and eateries for variety
Sign-in failure
Still.. after the latest update, Cannot sign in via FB account! Deleted this app and tryin to re-install. Lets see.
Good app for foodies
Definitely the go to app for searching for restaurants on the go and then saving and organising your favourites. Sometimes location services can be a bit squiffy but restarting helps. Simple to sign up and relatively simple to use. I love the Community section (who doesnβt like being nosy about what everyone else is eating?!π)However it is a shame premium services only available if you are in Singapore.

Good food but I waiting time is the concern
Decent food but average waiting time, came by during the weekend dinner rush, the dish was quite tasty and served fresh but have to wait 30 minutes for food to arrive. The places get very crowded and noisy. Worth a try if you are around the area.
This App is Underwhelming
The photo-journaling concept of the app is good. However, the search feature needs work. It is ineffective. I should be able to search anything without following someone or friending them. I like the idea of being able to journal my own food experiences, but the combination of that with social media is annoying. Can you tell me an alternative app where I can just journal or search foods in peace without following other people?

Auto charges a card as soon as you upload the card
I have been using this for years. Through the card uploading process of your bank card it automatically signs you up without an alternate option even after you stop the auto renewal. Please take note

Valuable to have this app as a tool to check out where to eat when the situation calls for it! Wish there were more entries for halal food thoughhhh
Forced to pick random dishes
I hate apps that make you like, follow, rate, or otherwise pre-populate a starter set of anything before I can do anything else. Fine, encourage me to "select 5 delicacies you love," but if I don't love any, just let me get on with it. Sticking with Foodspotting.

How far the mighty has fallen
I last used this app three years ago when it was genuinely one for one. Itβs nowβ¦ 20% off, or one for one sides. Lol. And the restaurant mix isnβt even as good as before.

User-friendly and a quick way to look for food and snack if you are an indecisive person.. And if somehow you lost your way while driving and are hungry, you can locate any nearby restaurants/food to fill your stomach.. Can further improve the layout and the background..

great and very messy at the same time
No option to add to a personal list unless its being added from someone else's list, otherwise its wishlist adding only, and then theres no way to remove from the wishlist once its there. Personal lists get a convenient map with pindropped locations but the wishlist is just a list. If youre interested in someones entire list theres no way to bookmark or just save the entire list to one of your own lists, you have to add the places one by one. For some reason after adding a bunch of places to my wishlist i checked my profile and i was following 20 people, how did this happen? I definitely didnt press anything to follow anyone. Glitch? Its not clear how recommendations work as there is nowhere to click to leave a 'like' or 'recommend', is it just calculated by people adding them to their wish lists as thats pretty much the only thing you can do on the page? That doesn't seem accurate at all. The only stuff under latest recommendations on the page are posts from Instagram, theres no way to leave direct reviews on the page for the place. The neighbourhoods section could be made easier to navigate, perhaps by having a list of places in a 10-15 minute walking radius before having users posts, because right now unless im in the area already and can use the wonderful tool for finding places within 10-15 min, the only thing i can do to scout an area out is to scroll through random picture posts Otherwise though, the community is great and search options are great for finding specific foods.

app is terrible and feels totally unsafe!
when i log in to the mobile app vs web, the accounts are different. very strange. and accidentally clicked on membership subscription, and it instantly charges, without asking for any confirmation. I donβt remember adding a card to my account, but it seems like there is a stored credit card with a number I donβt recognize. This app is highly unreliable. Use at your own risk.

Still not support iOS 7.0.2 ?? Why quit the app and returned to my iPhone home page when I click "join" ?
Great for foodies!
I was surprised with the number of dining deals I got from this app eventhough I did not join the membership tier. I usually check the 1 for 1 dining deals and various other promotions and dining reviews. π
Poor app experience and cannot apply promo code
Ever since you guys started using Tridentity for log in, the app has be beyond terrible, having to keep logging in even when I am on the same session. Applying promo/gift codes for free 1 year Beyond for referring friends does not work at all. The email link just keeps directing to login page and after that it just open the app after logging in without redirecting me to apply the gift code. Tried using desktpp as well and just redirect me to front page. No where in the app do I see the option to apply it as well. Might as well give up since Burpple have been going from bad to worse. No point keeping it anymore.

Nice idea
Nice idea this is, I often post photos of food to instagram. However, the location service here needs working on; if I post a photo of home made food and add my current location, it shows me about 6 houses away, and occasionally 2-3 streets away. A quick check on other apps such as circleme, path and Facebook will show me the correct location, so the problem is certainly in the app. Otherwise thumbs up.
