Unresponsive and black screen on iOS 17
When switching app and back to Chope app, the app is unresponsive and sometimes after ordering it show a black screen. Only way is to swipe up and force close the app and re-open.
Not efficient because..
I hate it when the restaurant re-confirm via Whatsapp, so what's the purpose of this app? If I have to re-confirming again, pay any settlement, or anything. Chope doesn't make dining easy! (In my case: Oma Elly literally such a nuisance when it comes to reservation via Chope)

Inflexible App
This is lousy app, inflexible deals. I have bought vouchers to use but they allow restaurant to have ridiculous condition and when its deal or voucher is unable to use , they refused to allow refund. Dont buy their deals without checking on the T & C of the restaurant you wish to dine in!
Help. I can’t change my phone number
I loved the app but despite many attempts to fix its’ bug I still haven’t been able to change my phone number. It’s stuck to my inactive phone number. Can you do something about this?
Worthless rewards
Only about 10-15 reward options . 80% of the reward options are fully redeemed. The only ones which aren’t are 10% of a day pass or coworking spot 🙄
Easy to book but impossible to edit or cancel booking
I have to use Chope to book tables at elemen restaurants but can never seem to edit or cancel my bookings via the URL sent to my email. Like the cancellation button is greyed out on the Chope app. Please fix this asap 🙏🏻

Poor ordering system
After I ordered from Burger King, the confirmation screen with full order details was shown. After I exit from the confirmation screen, I can only see notification that Burger King order was placed. It says “click to see details”. When I click, nothing happens. Can’t see any details of order. In fact ALL past BK orders cannot see order details! Basically this is a poorly implemented ordering system. Chope wants to make additional revenue from having vendors to come on board to their ordering system but their features are still lacking.
Fantastic customer service
Heard good things about Chope and decided to give it a try for my wedding anniversary dinner. Booked two pax for buffet dinner at the Estate. But I carelessly booked wrong dates not once but twice 😅 Chope support team and Caramay was kind enough to help me with getting a refund for my mistaken purchase. Really grateful for the help rendered.
Worse app ever
Purchased voucher and unable to use. Other voucher platforms are easy to use unlike Chope. Chope also would not honour a refund for a voucher that I cannot use. Purchase at your own risk !
Easy to use but...
Great to quickly book a table & confirm automatically but sometimes I need to book more than one restaurant/bar on same day (different times) so would be great if this was possible.
New version, WeChat not working
Annoyingly, the new version won’t let me log on with WeChat. Can’t access my reservations now.
Expired points
It was not fair. My point was expired because of Covid Locked Down. Most of restaurants unavailable to dine in. Should be considering.

Lazy lizard
Wait for food is super long. Served 4 out of 5 pax and forgot the last person’s order and still ask if we still want the last main course??? Food taste not fresh and super thirsty after meal. Never coming back
Great App
It is very handy when I travel to get bookings at my favourite restaurants and find new options.
The new version is terrible… full of bugs.
It used to be really good but now the app is almost not functional - click on a restaurant and then you can’t go back - apply more than one filter and search results comes back with one restaurant - you have to keep refresh to get more restaurants in the search results.
Convenient but app notifications are annoying
I like using the app and want to get alerts for my upcoming reservations. However we there’s no way to specify I *only* want notifications for my reservations and I constantly get notifications about Chope deals. There should be a way to customize my notification types. Otherwise, the app is fine and convenient to use. Could improve the search functionality and filtering

Nice to have an app that works and has broad subscription from F&B businesses across Singapore.
App keep crashing
Today the app keeps crashing on iOS devices. When I needed to retrieve the voucher from the app, it keeps crashing!
I like it
I like the app and the service. But why do I need a new account for each city? That’s ridiculous. I live between Shanghai and Hong Kong. And also don’t like earning the same amount of points for each reservation. Sometimes I reserve a small table for 2 and sometimes for 20 people to spend a ton of money. Chope dollars should reflect the difference.
Where is Feedback form or contact for help details!?
When you want admin assistance with your account there is no way at all of contacting Chope. Totally fine to ground. Typical tech firm these days.

Chope points expiring but the reward items are fully redeemed. No response when feedback was made. No trail of the feedback made as well.
Please add reviews
Chope does its job of highlighting the good restaurants and helping you make reservations. However, if it allowed reviews of the restaurants that would be a plus. Alternatively it could integrate the app with reviews from HGW or yelp.
Not happy with the service voucher
Had dinner at Cassio , the restaurant food and service is just ok so I wont recommend people to go anymore. It’s not worth visiting. I have bought the voucher from chope but the restaurant do not know how to apply it to their system and they had to take my phone away and check for over 15 mins. At the end they didn’t apply it onto the bill and I have to ask them to check again. It’s too much hassle for that 10 % off ( I got got 50 hkd off my whole bill 1000 hkd) I won’t trust chope voucher again ever.
Bad experience in Chope
On one occasion I had a very bad Chope experience. I booked a table at a restaurant on Chope, received your email Confirmation, arrived at the restaurant.... only to discover the restaurant had CLOSED DOWN. Permanently. And not recently. How could your system have “confirmed” my booking in such a case?

The app works, but has a funny bug. When I enter the details of a reservation I get an error message, but that is followed almost immediately by an email message confirming the reservation. The app will be more useful as more restaurants sign up.
Can’t look up by reservation number
Inability to look up reservation or add existing reservation to app. If so, help please.
App works good but places are limited
Like the app. All in English is nice but missing some of my favorite restaurant in Shanghai. They used to be on the list but now are missing.

Scam F&B app - points cannot be redeemed !!
My points are now up to 1000 Chope points. I have been checking to redeem cash vouchers with the points but on the app all cash vouchers are sold out and it has been like this for over a month! Meanwhile the points collected has an expiry date. My 300 Chope points will expire 30 June 2024 and until today I still cannot redeem cash vouchers as promoted on the app. Never again will I book restaurants on this app. No point warning points which you can never redeem! Scam marketing to get users and entice you with points for benefits but it’s all BS!!! Don’t trust app!

One of the best looking restaurant locator apps around. Looking forward to the additions of searching by promotion, user reviews and extended restaurant galleries. Up the Hibs!

Works...sometimes
The app works fine for some restaurants eg, Wild Honey. It didn't work for Shinzo Japanese Cuisine though. Overall, the app has potential but still needs more work. There are still some bugs and more restaurant listings are always welcome.
