Missing points and stays
Every since the first of the year it’s been nothing but a hassle I have to call them to get my points I am a titanium member I stay in hotels every week for work and I have to call them every time to get my points and I am losing bonus points as well I have tried getting this fixed multiple times and they still haven’t fixed it

They were great until…
As of 3 months ago I can’t book anything on the application. I used to be able to find the hotel and room I needed and book it immediately, now their server says it’s down when you are on the last step of booking it. So now you have to call and book it and they take literally 15 minutes. Please fix this app before you lose a customer that has been with you since 2017.
Refuses to show existing reservations
Table stakes for a travel app is to store and show your existing reservations. Even after successful lookup, it will not store the reservation it found.
Faulty Programming
Locked out of my own Choice account for over 6 months and they still can’t fix it! Pathetic customer service.
Bad!
Used to use the app to log in and book my hotel for business trips, but as of the beginning of this year, it doesn't work. Can't log in, just goes back to the login screen. Can't even log into the website from a browser. It just tells me an error occurred. Customer service or app IT don't have a clue. After 6 months of trying to get the issue fixed, I gave up. I have points, but you've lost my business.
Pets
You need a no pets selection in the filter . My wife is allergic to cats and dogs .
Poorly Executed
1) I have to login again every time I open the app. Learn from your competitors. 2) Copy/paste is disabled on the login page so my password manager won’t work. You’ve outsmarted yourselves here as this is bad UI design. Again, learn from the apps of the better hotel chains.
Decent ehh
I’ve been using the app to gain points and get a better price for 3+yrs. And I currently have 200,000 points. What I’ve found is that Prices are decent. Points are good. The biggest issue is that depending where you go, even as a Diamond member, management is harder to get the complimentary upgrades. I’ve fought w over 50 hotels about it. That’s not choice. It’s management but I rarely have that issue with Wyndham. It’s my 2nd option. 1st: Wyndham. Then IGH. The app is “glitchy” It tends to open a different location than the one I picked.
Great App, Easy To Use!
Easy to navigate but lately, the map is a bit wonky… when I ask for New Jersey Shore options it sends me to Indiana! 🏀 but generally, I’ve had really great experience with it!
Used to be great
Faster and easier sign in in exchange for the ability to pull up my past stays is a garbage trade off. For the last 4+ years I’ve been able to view my past stays and forward my invoices to my company. After this last update NONE of my past stays are shown, and my stays since the update don’t show up either. I travel for my job, and pretty much live in the choice chain. This needs to be fixed asap
Reservation details not shown
Unfortunately, this app does not show all the reservation details. It list when and where, but not what kind of room you booked. For that detail you need to refer to the email with the reservation confirmation. This is certainly an oversight of the app.
Terrible User Experience
App does not access standard credit card or address autocomplete. Even password autocomplete requires fiddling to access. It’s like the developer never met an app before.
Choice hotels app
Without notice, Choice hotels decided to require ios17 as the minimum needed to use their App. My iPhone can’t go above ios16 so I can no longer use the App and make hotel reservations. I’ve been loyal to Choice Hotel the last 5-years, stayed often, and achieved Diamond level but that ends now. Many of Choice Hotels’ competitors require ios16 or earlier versions and their App’s still work fine. That’s where my business will be moving to.

Extra Charges
Travel for work 150+days a year - unfortunately had to stay in a nowhere town. Unable to modify my stay on the app - I spoke with front desk staff for 3 days in a row requesting to checkout a day early. All of the staff looked at me like I was trying to rob a bank and they had no idea how to modify a reservation ? I was charged for the night I did not occupy the room, will never stay with comfort again. Literally any other chain hotels will let you modify with ease, and no charges.
Major WiFi issues
They need more than just one WiFi router for this size hotel and extenders @ the one in Berwick,La. Most people need it for work being this is a stay suite & most of the people staying @ this location are here for work! I’m a fan of this hotel & I understand it’s under new management, but one router isn’t going to cut it, and it’s frustrating to say the least
Past stays
The past stays are not showing up all my history is not showing ip now. I work field service with five other guys and they all have the same problem. Not able to access the recites. Was working good until you upgraded the version

It is an antipattern to put ads into logged changes.

I like this app because it is easy to find a room. There are no standardized forms or messaging features for guests to report room issues or other complaints.

Don’t trust booking
Booked a room through this app and hotel canceled the reservation. I was not notified until I arrived at the hotel and was unable to find another hotel for the night. Even the choice hotel worker told me you can’t always trust the app

Great app but for people traveling with pets it would be awesome if you could add a selection when trying to book.

Could be better
As I use many app for hotels, yours missing an important feature, yours only provide information in english. All Accor app, Marriot Bonvoy app, those offers also others languages as French.
Magic Mike-In real life
we could not stay all weekend for tournaments in the A. So we rented a second night much later in the week the day before we needed to arrive much smaller room, but if that was all that was available. Magic Mike at the desk helped me navigate staying in the small room and upgrading the people that had this small room. 5-star service Magic Mike is a legend and this father of 5’s hero…..
Horrible
I’ve been a member with Choice privileges for many years and wasn’t traveling for a year or two, but I’m back to doing so now for business and recently went through some very disappointing transactions with choice privileges. They used to be great. They took care of their. Choice’s members but Now? They definitely don’t do my suggestion to you all. Do not join find somewhere else because this is the worst and used to be the best.
Search doesn’t work, past stays not showing!
Over all a good app, easy to use; however, the search for a hotel never works for me. Any search, for any date and any city returns with the “Error, try again” screen. Have to sign in to choice web to make a reservation every time. Reusing the previous stay information and changing the dates for the same hotel works. But lately can’t even see any past stays in app.
New update sucks
The app forced me to update saying I wouldn’t be able to use it unless I updated. So I did so and then I went to book a hotel at a hotel that I have booked in the app multiple times. I know it is there. I have stayed there dozens of times over the last four years and I always use the app to book. Currently the new update thinks that there is no hotel in that area.

Great stay in Evanston Wyoming
Stayed at the quality Inn at the quality Inn in Evanston Wyoming. Staff was super helpful very professional and very quick to any needs that I had awesome experience comfortable beds. Nice showers. Definitely will come back again.thx guys Wendy A Las Vegas NV😊
Login Issues
The app isn’t working, it’s not allowing me to sign in, it’s not even allowing me to change my password. When I put in my credentials it tells me that the information doesn’t match their records when I literally get emails from you.
Great App
This App makes it so easy to check availability, make a reservation anywhere and as a member it gives you up to date information about basically everything you want to know. What more can you ask for.
Modifying Reservation Does Not Work
Update: The manager of the motel said, “I’ve had 4 people in last 2 weeks tell me they changed their dates on the app but it didn’t. I tell people to call a motel directly. Don’t use that app”. On Sept 18 I made reservations for 2 nights (Oct. 9 - 11). On the same day, I had to modify my dates. I clicked on “Modify Reservations”, it took me to a window with the option to change dates. Once I did that, I noticed that the new/modified amount owing had also changed from 2 nights to 1 night. I was satisfied that I was able to change dates. Fast fwd to today, Oct.9/24, I opened the Choice Privileges app to double check the address and map. No date changed! My advice is to call the hotel itself to make any changes because this app won’t.

1410 Harrison Rd, from the time you walk into the door, the smiles, wonderful atmosphere, amazing people working the front desk, everyone working there is willing to help with your needs, the rooms are very clean an comfortable, the beds are like laying on a cloud, for the price an the amazing experience, I won’t stay anywhere else accept Quality Inn, thank you for helping me enjoy my “ME TIME”.
