Small window opens for exploring and booking
Recent changes mean a small window opens to select the hotel and search room types and book. It should be full screen. Also, once you enter dates, there’s no way to enter number of guests without proceeding to hotel then “editing” your stay. Very poor update. Makes it not worth using. Stick with web version. Please fix.

Nothing works
I can’t find any of my account and info. The lady over the phone told me i had an out dated version and to delete and reinstall. I did that and same bs bw app that is the wordy in the business

Always Crashes
Almost every time I try to use the app to do anything with my account, it crashes and says there is suspicious activity on my device. There is nothing wrong with I use it for everything. Very frustrating.
App cost $137
Generally have had no issues with the app, but after attempting to reserve a room at the airport hotel in Nicaragua it failed saying to call the hotel. I waited a few seconds and tried to resubmit using cellular instead of wifi. Reservation completed. Upon arrival at hotel I was informed I had two reservations and would be charged for both rooms if I didn’t cancel one. App didn’t let me cancel of course and was unable to reach anyone using the number provided in the app for customer service. Hopefully will get refund for one otherwise Best Western will be a brand I NEVER STAY AT

If I look up hotels in a city and then back up and do a search to bring up the list again I constantly get an access denied error message. App is useless.

Can’t access the app lately
Lately I have been having issues with the app, they implemented a new security feature that denies me access 8 times out of 10. It’s annoying and they need to fix it. If they fix that then it’s a 4-5 * until then it’s a 2 *.
BW app
I have to turn my iPad sideways when using this app, it won’t let me save my password and how do I setup the finger print log in. It does work fine for use when I log in manually however.

Decline in accommodations
The elevator is broken. Traveling with 3 kids and lots of luggage being hauled up flights stairs late at night is a problem. The key cards did not work for the room, twice. More flights of stairs to then have to switch rooms necessitating more luggage hauling. Absolutely sucks

Always clean, everyone is friendly, no black stares as if I’m in the wrong place. Smells good, can’t detect any previous animals being in these rooms. I’m not blue if this location house animals, but if they do I’ll never know, due to cleanliness. Only issue I have is them adding my rewards account to my reservation once I check in, not sure if they know how at this point. But it’s fine I will just call toll free to fix it.
The app is hard to use
The screen for selecting hotels is way too small to the point where it is unusable. You can’t easily compare hotels or look at a map without constantly being kicked back to the initial screen. Also, it constantly defaults to a one person stay. Tedious!
Treat yourself option
When in the booking tool after choosing room the Treat Yourself option to upgrade does not work. After clicking see more and clicking option YES. Nothing happens.

Diamond Select, terrible app
The app itself is buggy as hell. All of the other hotel apps remember corporate codes and ease of login. For some reason in the past few years it has been a horrible experience to use this app. Can't keep my corporate code applied Everytime I log in but can easily implement a $50 early check in fee for trying to get into the room at 2:54pm.

Best Western charges more for Government/Military more than any other rate they have.

I use these hotels at least three times a week and have no issue with the app. Just two mild frustrations: 1 can’t save a credit card for check out. 2 none of the special offers are ever relevant to the UK.
Cannot use my loyalty points
They made it so difficult to understand how to use my loyalty points with multiple password entries that I gave up.
It’s ok.. could be better
It would be awesome, if it just had a dam map view to search for hotels. Especially, when I am looking at staying in an unfamiliar place, I want to be sure the hotel is close to where I need to be. Please add a map view for searching. I would probably book with best western way mor.

Best Western in Trail
That was interesting. We stayed 4 nights, nice hotel, clean room. I liked that they didn’t come in and change the towels and bedding every day, but it would have been nice to have coffee and soaps replaced as needed, and garbage empty.
Reporting missing points does not work!!
Neither the app nor the website allows you to submit confirm number and dates to request your missing stays be applied
Not as user friendly as similar apps
Inability to access basic functions from the initial search screen or add special requirements for pets needs to be addressed
Easy to use
I enjoy the app but wish there was a way to make notes about a hotel like which room I liked or which side faces highway, sun or view etc. Also all hotels show up as a favorite which makes it hard to know which ones are really favorites.
Room not cleaned regularly
Our stay was for nine days and the sheets were never changed. We are staying at the Best Western, Fellbach Germany. We don’t stay in Best Western in the US. Perhaps this is normal, but I don’t like it at all.

I have registered to Best Western rewards and yet it is not registering my points. What am I doing wrong?

Screen to small. Should be as large as the device I am using. Hard to read

The Room in was good, nice and clean. The staffs are friendly and have good customer service. Would love to stay again in the future.
Terrible App
The app only works sometimes but normally you get “we experience difficulties” You have over 25 days of difficulties fix it.
Apple Wallet Support Via App
Please add Apple Wallet support to your rewards card and reservation! It was the best thing Best Western could have!
Worse than before
I had to “update” this app when I wanted to make a reservation today. This is not an easy-to-use app. Instead of opening a full window on my iPad, it opens a small screen that you then have to scroll up and down just to see all the information you want - room, price, total cost, etc. The window should be full-screen size. Also, the screen does not rotate with the iPad (and it’s not the iPad settings!) but forces you to hold it in portrait mode instead of allowing landscape. This is very awkward if you have an actual keyboard case. Otherwise, the app is okay but not great and certainly not as easy to use as the app for Booking.com.
Crashes
On the whole ok, crashes though when trying to view upcoming reservations, could be more user friendly to navigate

Update email
This site makes it impossible to change email without creating a new account. My old email no longer works. To update email I am required to verify identity on the old email address
Handy app but it lacks an EV charging filter
As an electric car owner one of my main requirements when searching for accommodation is for the property to have a power point in the car park to charge my car while I sleep. Best Western are one of the most EV friendly hotel groups and have EV charge points installed at many sites so could you please consider adding a search filter to enable EV drivers narrow their search to just show hotels with EV charging points?

Okay for America
App is good for searching hotels in U.K (where I live) but you can't book and pay for one through the app unless you use a credit card. Sorry Best Western but a lot of us here don't have credit cards, just debit cards. Shame I can search with the app but then have to go to the website to book. Also tells you when you booked on the app that you have a reservation, but doesn't not show details again I think that's because it a UK hotel. Come on Best Western make it work right for all.
