Disappointed that I can’t watch AlJazeera
I regular watch Al Jazeera and other international news outlets because relying solely on domestic media doesn't give us the full story. It is deeply tragic that we have initiated a conflict involving alleged war crimes, with absolutely no end in sight.
Perspective
This is one of several apps I use to get a truer picture of the world as a whole. While not perfect, it gives a great perspective that lacks on other news apps.
App crashes
The iPhone app crashes while opening. It’s been long time but don’t see any improvement.
Good news for most part very biased on Israeli Palestinian conflict
It’s great for the most part it’s very biased on the Palestinian side going as far as supporting terrorism take all that info with a grain of salt other than that it’s a pretty good news source

Your app seems a lil bit too teeing when scrolling through a screed
Please give us a dark mode. I had the new al jazeera app but I still prefer this for its pottage of stories and videos. Keep up the good work in journal. 👍🏼
Scrolling = A Major Issue
First time using the app, and it won’t scroll properly. As in it won’t scroll through an article at all. What’s the point in making a news app if the users aren’t going to be able to scroll through and read your articles?

No commercials. Best way to go.
CNN is for libs. Fox is for conservatives. Aljazeera is for Muslims, and their content is much denser and thicker than fox or CNN. Fox and CNN are mostly shallow content and commercials every 30 seconds. Aljazeera is the best I've found for news so far.

Good news! Limited app.
Really good international coverage. Particularly good for Middle Eastern news. App is a bit clunky, no search, scroll jumps under IOS (which is very annoying) and news stories keep repeating under top stories, ads keep taking focus and hijacking the screen.
Great content, poor scrolling functionality
While I love the content, there seems to be an issue with my ability to scroll up and down as I read through content. I don’t have this issue with other apps, so I have to assume it’s contained to just this app. To scroll up and down, I need to use 2 fingers on the page. One finger is not smooth enough.
Pages are jumpy.
I’m trying to read the article, the pages jump up and down when I’m trying to scroll up on the page. But like just now when I was looking at these comments that other people had left the page was scrolling smoothly the way it should. But the actual articles that you’ve got for some reason or jumping up and down when I try to scroll up.

Western mediua let us down. I am a white 65 year old midwestern mom. Gazans deserve the support of all of us. NPR, CBS, CNN, all of them got this shockingly wrong. So now I get my news from Al Jazeera.

Great news channel but app problems
I love the way that aljazeera doesn’t only focus on western nations, which is why i downloaded the app to get news from different views. However, the app is a bit glitchy, such as scrolling makes the page go up and down and freeze a lot. It gets a bit annoying and i couldn’t find any way to report bugs?
Excellent content, poor backend execution
Al Jazeera is a truly splendid and a wealth of knowledge for those looking for the oft-overlooked news stories from less popular areas around the world. This app however, is bad. I cannot scroll properly on many of the articles, making the app more of an inconvenience than a shortcut. Thanks for reading, John Hill

After choosing an article to look at, the scrolling is very bugging and unresponsive. Scrolling down makes it go up for some reason and the app isn’t exactly fast. Please fix

Basic Usability Bugs (with great journalism)
The app does not do your reporting justice. There are major issues with scrolling and navigation. The low quality of your mobile app makes your content inaccessible for those who are not already fans of your journalism.
Scrolling down is broken
Good content, but scrolling down to read an article is extremely frustrating. It doesn’t scroll smoothly and jumps all over the place.

Glitchy
While an excellent source of journalism, this app is horribly glitchy; good luck scrolling as the screen instead bounces around. You have to “flip” the screen and cannot smooth-scroll, which causes parts of articles to dart out of view. It seems to prioritize advertisement-centering instead of readability. Really wish it worked properly as I would love to be able to read the articles in their entirety.

Scrolling does not work well, it’s 2022, scrolling should just work.
New App Problematic
New AJ app does not rotate on IPad as a result the viewers head must be turned to read the stories. It new to impossible to view the app since it seems more complicated than the original app. PLEASE FIX THIS.
Worst app best content
If you are talking about app it’s worse, screen does not scroll up down properly. They have i think the cheapest or worst development team. If we talk about the content they good content.
Too Bright
Excellent journalism, among the best. But this is a review of the app, not of the news. The app is glaringly white, bright, consuming battery and crying for a dark-mode. I’d be on it a lot more often if there were a choice between light and dark. As it is, I think it far too bright, even garish. Apart from that, excellent

Articles do not scroll in the correct direction. Issue needs to be addressed as app isn’t useable in its current state.

Scrolling Issue
App looks good but there’s a scrolling issue. Whenever you scroll, it’s unresponsive, scrolls the other way, or acts unnaturally and glitchy. This needs to be fixed in order to make the app usable.
Fix your app
Love the news feed, but hate the app. Articles are “sticky” and scrolling through an article is no easy task. Videos keep randomly popping up during article reads. When I actually want to watch a video, half the time there is no sound, and the other half the video doesn’t look. Love the news feed, absolutely hate the UI. Please fix.
Better than all US news outlets
And your documentaries are brilliant, international news coverage is excellent. And there are still many more stories to be told, keep up the good work

C‘mon it been a month since the people wrote about this bug and still not fixes yet? It’s really hard to scroll down on my Iphone 11 pro max!!
Unable to highlight words or phrases when wanting to clarify the meaning of a term or phrase
Please allow the user to highlight a word or words to search their meaning allowing to make sense of the article without leaving the app. Other than that good app with good information on important topics. Thanks
Problem with the scrolling. So agravating!
There is a problem when you scroll up and down on the phone app. I love Al Jazeera and trust its content 100% but they need to work to solve this problem. It happens on iPhones and Android
Great content, buggy app
I appreciate the more unbiased perspective of the content, but please fix scrolling in the articles. It’s so broken, and it makes attempting to read a maddening process, as the screen continually jumps back up. Otherwise, I’d have given the app a 5.
