I’ve been playing for years and love this game. I dislike the new changes. I like to use my rewards as I want. Changing 10 to 100 is not fooling anyone. The main strategical point was using and gaining rewards. Now it’s too easy and boring. Go back to the way it was. Make your changes somewhere else in the game please.
Frozen in ads
I’ve played for years but the ad glitches are getting out of control. I keep getting frozen in an ad and can only get out by turning my phone off. It’s been about 15 x today!😠

Great game
Was a good app....
Have enjoyed ruzzle for years. The tournament play is good, but the app is getting stingy. Challenging other players is all that's left. Diluting winning payouts. Once paid for ad-free, is no longer recognized. Sad. Greed.
Challenge problems
I love playing this game. However, anytime I accept a challenge match. I write words that will not be accepted.which doesn’t make any sense. Just now I played a match with an opponent and I had 40 words because I counted how many I had. It only accepted 12 words and the opponent won with 52. Now that isn’t fair considering I had 40 words but only 12 of them were accepted. I don’t know if this is a glitch. Or if other people have had this problem. I have uninstalled the app and redownloaded it and did a hard reset, updated the app, and still have this problem. PLEASE FIX THIS.

This has always been my go to game. When you find the perfect recipe you don’t have to keep tweaking it to be better. Anyhow, love the game

Ruzzle has been my favorite mobile game for years. I started playing when I was 13 years old, and now I'm 26. Out of all the games I've downloaded and deleted over the years, this is one of the very few that has stayed on my phone. The game is fun, brain-stimulating, and surprisingly challenging, especially when you enter tournaments and compete against strong players. It keeps your mind active, improves your vocabulary, and never really gets old. Whether I have a few minutes to spare or want to sit down and seriously compete, Ruzzle is always my go-to game. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the constant freezing and glitches. Sometimes the tiles start shaking uncontrollably across the board. I can still swipe and create words, but I can't clearly see what I'm spelling. The only way I know if a word was accepted is by listening for the approval sound. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when I'm having a great round and pushing 1,800+ points. I've had to force-close and restart the app more times than I can count because of this issue. I genuinely love this game and have been loyal to it for over a decade. I just wish the developers would address these performance issues so the gameplay experience can match how great the game itself

Subscription to Remove Ads
The latest gimmick in taking people’s money - charge for a monthly subscription to remove ads!?! My life is being bled dry by subscription! Play ‘Word Seek’ instead. Can remove ads for a one time fee of 2 bucks.
Glitches
Ever since the update, Ruzzle has been getting stuck and causing my phone to get stuck. I’m not able to turn my phone off for about 2 minutes. Other than that I enjoy playing this game.

Played this game since I was 17. . . I’m 31 now… I deleted it due to the glitches (which most recent ratings have also left reviews about). Supposedly the Ruzzle Dev team has fixed them, I’m going to redownload and give it a shot. I hope to change my rating to 5 stars, but if it’s still trash I’m not going higher than a 2.
Game freezing
I have had issues for the last month with the game freezing while playing. I have been a Ruzzle fan for years now and I’ll be happy when this issue is resolved!

Freezing
I like the app but it freezes in the middle of games and I have to force close it and restart the whole game. It’s continuous and annoying. Also there’s too many ads.
Too buggy
I love this game and I’ve been playing it for well over 10 years, but if I wasn’t so entrenched as a player, I would not stick with it right now. It’s nearly impossible to complete rounds without the game glitching and freezing up. I really hope they can get it back on track.
can you fix this bug
still the best word game around! please note however: randomly-after a game round has completed-any further play abruptly stops with the screen flickering incessantly, with the only way to stop it is to shut the game down & re-open it. after reading reviews indicating this same bug affecting others’ game play & asking devs to apply a fix, it is seemingly yet to be addressed. is there a specific reason for that? maybe one of your more recent updates had an unexpected effect that caused it, but can the devs please re-address this bug & update the platform? thanks!

Glitch recently
For the last couple of weeks, the game has been freezing. Requiring a close of the app to continue gameplay. The freezing also affects the ability to swipe the app closed. I like ruzzle and have played for years. Please correct it
Glitchy
I like the game itself but the app freezes daily in the middle of playing. It freezes my entire phone too. I literally almost have to shut my phone down to exit out. For reference I have the newest iPhone 17 and am running the latest OS and the latest app version so it not any of that. The app has a ton of bugs. Does not work well sadly.
Stopped working
Causes fatal crash, iPhone freezes - please fix and update, thanks. Update: Reinstalled couple of weeks later and still broken, crashes most rounds.
Too many add
Love the game but the ad’d are excessive and makes me leave the game sooner because the ads take you out the zone and it comes after single round

The Gameplay is Still Good- The Rentless Sales Pitches are NOT
I’ve played Ruzzle for more than 10 years. I watched it grow, recommended it to countless friends, built a team, and happily adapted to the many changes along the way. Yes, it was addictive—and that was part of its charm. Unfortunately, the developers seem to have confused improving the game with monetizing every corner of it. It started subtly with changes to scoring and point accumulation. Then came the endless opportunities to buy coins. Now we’re bombarded with constant pop-up ads pushing “special bundles” and promotions. Frankly, it’s become intrusive and incredibly annoying. I paid for an ad-free experience. To me, “ad-free” should include not being repeatedly interrupted by advertisements from the developers themselves. After more than a decade of loyalty, and after convincing many others to join me on Ruzzle, I never thought I’d say this—but I’m seriously considering deleting the app. The gameplay is still good; the relentless sales pitches are not. What a shame. Ruzzle had something special, but greed has slowly chipped away at the experience that made players stay in the first place. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ “Great game. Terrible nagging. The developers are becoming the most annoying part of the app.”
Best Game gone bad
This is the best game to play against others. However, for the last several weeks, the app keeps freezing in the middle of a game! Please fix this!

App is not showing up in notifications on iPhone 17 pro max
Use to get notifications on the game when it was your turn all of sudden they stop coming so I re installed and now ruzzle doesn’t show in the notifications setting on iPhone where u control notifications , did u remove this from the app ??
Constant freezing/crashing
For a couple weeks now the app will freeze/crashes mid game

Very addictive, and keeps mind active. Sometimes the scores don’t register properly though, and points earned not added correctly. Fun to play with new people or find your own friends to play with
Frustrating ads
Would be a great game but had to sit through two very lengthy ads that required me to click out to the store and back into the game just to play one practice round. If I can’t even trial the game without these terrible ads, I won’t even consider paying for a game. What an annoying waste.
Game hanging
I enjoy playing the game with my friends. Very friendly interface. However the game often freezes, hangs or flickers . Please fix this

It is boogle in app form
I do enjoy playing some of the challenges win in multiple languages yup but a challenge to get a 10 letter word is not possible so don’t waste your time. I’ve met nice people but I don’t like having to be done in 72hrs. Sometimes I get to sick to play which makes conversations disappear

An advertisement for sport chek is a scam. I would ask the developer to remove it.
Freezes constantly
Been playing for years. Freezes mid game constantly. Getting ready to delete.
Used to be good
But the various updates over the years has diminished the game. The latest update especially. Used to play daily but I won’t any more.
Desire to return
I loved the game but had to leave because it hacked. I had reached the highest level, lost 6,000 points. I will try again because it is fun and challenging.
App started glitching
I love this game and played without issue for years. Recently the app has started glitching mid game, where the screen starts flashing and I can’t push any buttons. I am forced to exit the entire app and start a new game with my opponent. I looked and there is no way to report this issue. Otherwise I would’ve never left this negative review.
Very good game
It’s a good game and fun to play. Works well, no major bugs that I’ve noticed. Small problem I have is the notifications - being the number that comes up on the icon on my screen. That doesn’t tell me when I have new games. Be good if that worked properly.
Freezes during every game now
Since the last update three weeks ago this has been freezing in the middle of play on iPhone. I can still make words and finish the game but the display is frozen. Makes it challenging! Poor support - This should be a quick fix, revert to previous version!
notifications
There should be in-app notification options, so that I can choose ‘only notify me if I have a turn waiting’. Also, maybe add Sign In with Apple to allow progress to be saved. Also a volume slider to control game music and sound effects volumes, rather than one on/off audio toggle.
