Don’t Buy Paid Version
Liked the game didn’t like the ads so I paid for the ad free version . In the year I had the ad free there may have been 8 new maps. My year of ad free has run out now there is a new map and now I have to watch the adds. What I am saying in a nice way is it’s not worth the money. Disappointed
Some bugs and a truly weird dictionary
The game is mildly addictive but the GOLD RUSH does not behave properly (as stated in the rules) and the dictionary has many common words missing as well as many foreign words that are in common use in English gaming venues, while at the same time it has tons of abbreviations, acronyms and obscure esoteric words which have been obsolete for centuries. Also the Themed words have horrendous oversights. For example, “put” and “call” were not recognized as Financial themed words.

Would love hints on long words
I love this game but I sure wish they would allow a request for hints on “long” words. Maybe give the first letter to help users find it, or give a hint on the topic, or say how many letters are in the long word. Infact, it would be even nicer if the user could choose which type of hint they would like. Often I just wish I knew the first letter, so I could really concentrate on finding it.

Fun game but no way yo get support
Not progressing
It is entertaining but when I got to the end of world 1, it says tap here and I do but nothing happens. It’s not frozen because the things are still moving, but it won’t do anything when I tap it.
It can’t be over ugh
I have loved playing this game and have come to the end (hasn’t been updated since 2017) and I’m sad. Thank you for a great and fun game! Wish you could update with more!!
Great game, horrible support!
The daily challenge hasn’t worked in w while, but you can’t communicate with them except by logging on to Facebook. Ridiculous that if you don’t want to be on Facebook you get NO support!
Poorly designed
I’m not sure all the words even exists I finished the adventure mode I went to maps for another world and the page was blank!

Why is there no new adventure maps available. This is not showing good support for the players
Great but troublesome
The game itself is fine, it’s an easy pass time with good progress and rewards (Xbox achievements). I downloaded a few days ago and have made good progress on my first map. The major flaw with this game is the persistent adds, they’re long and incredibly annoying to get off your screen because they’re interactive. I’ve made it to level 70 on the first map and am unable to move any further due to the app persistently crashing half way through this puzzle. I’ve made multiple attempts to no avail. I’ve moved over to daily challenges which is a little better but again just crashes a lot. Without the constant crashing and adds this would be a much more preferable game.

The game helps me with my vocabulary and spelling.
UNSUPPORTED APP
Microsoft provides NO SUPPORT for this game. 1. For nearly three months I have seen annoying ads after every game despite multiple confirmations from Apple and my credit card company that my subscription is paid and in force. 2. For more than three years I have received a cloud sync error message after every game. I have tried repeatedly to resolve both issues and occasionally receive a platitudinous response — they’re working on it — but no resolution. I like the game, but I think I’m done. Update: Apple support helped me get rid of the ads by using “restore purchase” in settings. Yay Apple! But Microsoft support is still nonexistent.

So I have been unable to load game due to add that take over my screen and refuse to close. I do not recommend.
Wordament is good but has crucial problems
Good, simple mental exercise but… The game provides achievement level titles but stops at GrandMaster and won’t issue any more. then the game hangs when if you keep playing and solving more maps… for the mental exercise. so then to keep playing you have to reset the game and restart again. I don’t think MS has any dev resources on this game. too bad, could be a great game

Well, guess I can’t play this game anymore. Was my every day go to for word games. Used to be able to play uninterrupted, with no ads. Today the app failed and I had to delete and redownload, and now am stuck having to watch 3 minute ads for other games. Bye bye Wordament! So sad.
Great but ……
Great game, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’d have given it 5 stars but twice now I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall as can’t open the gate on level 156, I think it is in world 2, so I can’t get any further than this and lose all progress. To join with acct it asks for Xbox acct, which I don’t have. I really wish these annoyances could be fixed.
An addictive game but ruined by excessive advertising
It works well and is useful to practise foreign languages. However I have discovered that the French versions have all sorts of words and letter combinations which are not French. The description in the App Store only mentions English and I wonder if an error has been made in releasing a multi language version before it is ready. Any comment Microsoft? Despite the above this game is addictive and is satisfying to play but it has now been ruined by unacceptably frequent adverts. It really shouldn’t be necessary to interrupt the player after every couple of short games with a long advert. One of these is for a Mobilityware game. Mobilityware itself does not inflict this level of disruption on its players.

Mis à part les mots qui ne sont pas français et les fautes de grammaire, le jeu pourrait être stabilisé. L'application se ferme inopinément plusieurs fois de suite même si c'est la seule app ouverte ! Merci aux développeurs de se pencher sur ce problème.

Fantastic game but one of the key features is disabled now
Disappointed
I loved this game but after my iPad had to be re-started, it lost all my stats. Nothing in the help menu gives any answers and no way of communicating. What’s really annoying is that this happened the day after my subscription renewed. Not recommended, too many glitches at the moment

Good game. Apart from the ads nearly every two games. Have sounds and music muted but ads play loud especially the ones for coins.
Best ever and helps keep my 85 year old brain stay sharp.

Hot mess
Valid words like Lame don’t always count. If it’s because it’s somehow offensive, make it so it never gets counted. The multiplayer leaderboard was updated a while back and now it shows duplicates if you finish close to the top 15. If you finish in the top 15 the list cuts off at number 15 instead of showing the top 30. Please rollback the changes.

Spoiled by poor ad choices
The game itself is decent. But as with all these games, the ads are just too intrusive. They have a progress bar along the bottom that in no way reflects how long the ad will remain on screen. They don’t respect the fact your phone is on mute, so you get blasted with sound. I would have hoped that like MS solitaire this would be on game pass, but it’s not, so you have to put up with them or pay another sub to ms.

Country flags and frenemies! What was the thought process behind removing two of the most epic things about wordament??? No wonder the game barely has 100 players per round when it used to be 500+ easily back in the day

I really enjoy this addictive game, although sometimes I am frustrated by its acceptance of some “normal” words and not others - possibly due to its USA origin?

There is a solid word game here with multiple challenge types although I mostly stick to the Worlds campaign with the occasional daily challenge as new Worlds seem few and far between. But it’s the aggressive ads that have finally made me give up playing. I don’t mind ads per se, it’s the modern cost of ‘free games’, but these ads seem excessively long, require multiple ‘clicks to quit’ them and half the time open the App Store anyway, even though I’ve tapped the cross. It’s worth a monthly subscription in the short term, but if you’ve played for years as I have, the total cost can become ridiculously over-priced over time.

This feels like an extremely amateur app for a company like Microsoft. It blows my mind that this company would release ad farming games, but that’s exactly what this is. It’s definitely not worth the $10 price to remove the ads, and I can’t believe Microsoft didn’t put more consideration into how this reflects on their overall reputation. At the very least, a simple game like this should be included with my annual MS subscription fee. Compare this to the many high quality AD-FREE games included with a Netflix subscription, and MS should be embarrassed.
Great game
Have played this for ages, great game just wish you weren’t forced to the next level as soon as the targets are achieved as there’s often far more to play on the board. It’s a faff to have to go back to carry on where you were.

After using for a long time, have become annoyed with the increasing frequency of advertisements.
Love the games BUT….::::
This software contains some of the greatest, in my view, word challenging games around. However, in my experience it’s a wretched NIGHTMARE! On my various tablets and my iPhone it ends up, after a few levels, just rolling round the letters of LOADING, with no chance of it loading. Every game is affected. I’ve even turned my appliances off, cleared caches and even deleted and downloaded anew, but it eventually refuses to load. Come on MS please sort this out. Glad I didn’t pay to bypass adverts. Dave Wood !?!?!?!?!
