Everything very thorough and simple
Constantly freezes/locks up
This app is unusable. Have had it for two seasons and it consistently freezes/locks up every game I watch at least once to the point I have to turn off my TV and wait 30 seconds to turn it back on. It's not my TV because I regularly watch at least half a dozen other apps we use regularly that NEVER do this. App is horrible, do NOT recommend.
Pretty good for scores, so so for video
Video glitches when you go from prescient view to full video view. Almost always loose video there
Log-in Everytime
For the last month or so, every time I use the Car Play version I have to log in (which is not convenient if I have started driving).
MLB greed
The blackout policy is archaic. You are losing fans do to it. Get up with the times, no one is making more money than you. Stop it, it will come back to bite you!

Stay up on daily stats on the go! For serious Baseball fans, it’s a must have!
App sucks.
I pay the mlb $30 a month to watch baseball. I use the mlb app through Xumo, the app on my iphone and the mlb website to watch games. Why do i have to use all 3? Because the app crashes, every game. Maybe its my internet. Nope. It crashes when im not even home, streaming on someone else wifi, same part of the game. Buffer starts around 4-5th, then crash at 6th-7th, then crash, buffer the rest of the game. Again, my internet you may be thinking. I watch football, basketball, Supercross on Prime and Peacock, no issue. What makes this even more irritating is that i can only watch games THROUGH MLB. And to watch the games I HAVE TO PAY THE MLB every month. BUT I CANT EVEN WATCH GAMES. Its criminal. And customer support is no help, they could really care less about tech issues. BBB review next.

Fails to launch
App freezes on load screen. I have to delete the app entirely and redownload it every time I try to watch a game. (9th gen iPad running 26.6)

On the iPad you can no longer see who is batting and the score at the same time because it’s oversized. I guess the gameday pulldown is more important viewing the entire gamecast.

Very useful app and nice interface and ui, the only thing that I have a problem with is that you have to sign in just to pick teams.

I like baseball

Streaming is unbearable
The streaming needs serious fixing. Constant bugs and loading issues when moving around the app while watching, watching PIP, and changing audio sources. Home radio always de-synced with stream. Very frustrating for the price just to watch one team.
Rip off with no help
App hasn’t worked the majority of time. Living in SNJ and trying to watch Mets games have been blacked out. When calling for help they fix it and the next day it’s the same issue. Major disappointment.
Sad news
My husband and I use to get together with our families and watch the Mariners and Seahawks. We are all retired Seniors. Our fun has been taken away. The only teams we are unable to watch now is our Seahawks and Mariners! You’ve priced us all out, and taken away one of the best times of our senior gatherings. We were all the biggest fans of our teams for years! We will always be their biggest and oldest fans! We miss them so much! Please offer a discount for your senior fans!
Blackouts
Regional blackouts mean I can’t watch the MLB channel this year. I could last year, I can’t this year… same money…

App glitches and says there’s a blackout when there’s not
Pay 100 a year to be able to watch a team, and multiple times this year it has said it’s blacked out when it isn’t. I can log in on the computer and it will work. Just insane to have a glitch that continues all year long with no fix when paying this amount of money.
Weak Scoreboard Page, Video Overlays Gone
The scoreboard pages used to be a very compact list of games with essential information listed in them, now they are oversized tiles which requires scrolling to review the games being played on a given day. All this to make it consistent across platforms, I guess. Never mind usability for the end user. Homogenization also has taken over the video playback as they’ve taken away overlay features. That was a big selling point a few years ago, but I guess it wasn’t worth maintaining. I can give some credit for the app crashing less often than it has historically, but it’s not as good an app today as it once was.

I evidently automatically signed up but they still won’t let me log into my account and actually watch a game. Very frustrating

blackouts continue
When you subscribe to netflix you expect to be able to watch every program in the netflix library. without blackouts. MLB alone is so anti fan development that they would sell a very expensive monthly streaming package with the headline “no blackouts’ and then black out 20% of a team’s games. As a brewers.TV subscriber i have had 5 blacked out games in august alone. you’d make substantially more money and have more baseball fans if fans could actually access games.
Worst professional app
I can never find what I need here and if I need my password, reset it takes forever for it to happen. MLB no end out ranked by the NFL. This is really sad.
Throws a bone!
Whatever happened to the MLB Free Game of the Day feature? I can’t swing a full subscription and being able to watch a game every now and then was great, especially when my team was featured.
Not worth it anymore
This will be my final year paying to access live games on this app. The price continues to go up while the number of games available continues to go down. A few years ago MLB granted the Blew Jays “local” blackout restrictions over the entirety of the second largest country in the world. Now more and more games are only on networks or other streaming services. And at playoff time access for non US viewer is more restricted despite having paid the same price.
Over priced!
I pay a premium price for MLB.TV because it’s the only practical way for me to watch baseball in Australia. Unfortunately, many of the biggest games are unavailable because they’re exclusive to Apple TV or other streaming services. As someone who mainly watches on weekends, it’s incredibly frustrating to find that the games I want to watch require yet another subscription. If I’m paying for MLB.TV, I expect to be able to watch every MLB game. The current arrangement makes the service feel overpriced and poor value for money.
