App problem
When I try to open the app, it says something went wrong. Please try again and I clicked the refresh button and nothing happens. It also says I have one notification which won’t go away.
Still Garbage
BR is so trash now that I opted to pay a subscription to the Athletic. They are far superior and a glimmer of what this app used to be.
Update
Good app continue to and improve listening to play feedback. Would be nice to be able to order our teams again or at least favourite teams so they appear at the top
Updates make it worse every time
I have exclusively used this app for sports news for many years. Sorta done with it. Can’t ever watch the clips on twitter anymore because it just redirects you to try and force you to download X. The dumb banner across the top that I cannot turn off. Just always something

Trash
I’ve had this app since it first came out. It’s been on every smart phone I’ve ever owned. When it first came out it was perfect, it was curated to your specific interest ONLY allowed open communication with fellow sports fans. But then the company started taking more and more money from the wrong people who now have a strangle hold on the app. Most speech is now censored, no more tagging friends in posts and then receiving a notification. Women’s sports or forced down your throat. This app has turned into the exact opposite app that all its users originally downloaded. It’s been a very similar fall to ESPN/ Sports center. It’s pathetic and sad, every higher up at this company deserves to be fired and unemployed long enough they’re forced to file bankruptcy.
Positive criticism
I’ve been using this app for a very long time and this new update needs a serious change the app is now a complete mess. Nothing works I have an updated phone and mainly use fast internet and all I’m getting is refreshing refreshing and being from the UK everything says not eligible in my region? So why is it even there ? Please sort it out bleach report supporter I won’t delete this app until new update comes I’m loyal like that
Videos Rarely Work
None of the videos that I get notifications for work. I’ll get a random one that loads in but for the most part it’s just a black screen

Massive Downgrade
Have been a supporter and devoted user of this platform since it began as Team Stream but unfortunately since the new update the user interaction has been horrendous. Had the original Bleacher Report App for over a decade and would get all of my team news and updates from there until I was forced to update to this new application. This is massive downgrade in my opinion for what used to be an easy and enjoyable way to follow sports and support your team has become frustrating and unusable. The amount of advertising is super excessive and it constantly gets in the way of viewing any of the content and makes it hard to read any articles and almost impossible to follow the article itself. The new design makes it feel cluttered, slow, and overly focused on serving ads rather than providing a user experience. I understand that advertising is necessary in order for a business to succeed but this is unbearable. I ended up deleting the app for a while hoping that these would get cleaned up after some feedback from people but I just tried it again and it is still impossible to connect with anything but ads on the platform anymore. Now I need to find somewhere else to stay connected with sports.
Not working
After I upgraded the latest version the app is not opening. Could please fix this issue.
Still wacky
I really wish they would have left it tf alone…this app is so trash compared to the previous edition. I’ll never forgive them for this change. Whoever signed off should run into the bottom post of their bed with their pinky toe each night before bed…and if they have a platform bed, it should be their shin.
Ads getting worse
I feel like the ads are starting to get worse. It’s starting to be a task just to look at one article, and have to scroll past 15 ads. Please figure something out.
Bring back older version
The old bleacher report app was way better and performed much better than the current version, Too many ads for no apparent reason when I’m looking at the scores from the games that are being played there’s always a stupid ad being played above.

Like everyone else, I really loved this app. It was like a Twitter but just for sports. Now I've seen that I can't even comment on articles or comment in the sport team forums 🤦🏾♂️. Bleacher Report, WHAT IS GOING ON??! Y'all took the one think that made y'all unique and stripped it away. If this issues is only on my personal device, please let me know and send me in the right direction so that it can be fixed. Thanks.
So. Much. White. Space.
I deleted this app some time ago as it was so bad. Came back to check it out and I have to say big improvement on previous iterations ….but it’s still flawed. So much white space, especially between sub-sections in news stories. White space lessens the richness of the content. Also, the featured video popping up at the top of every single news item is really distracting and possibly slowing load time for the page. Lastly, the long standing problem of the scores ribbon at the top of the home page showing me scores for sports I don’t follow and have no interest in!!! Just because I’m in the UK doesn’t mean I want to see ‘soccer’ scores. Social feeds are what I came to B/R for and they’re the best feature.

This went from my go to app must look at everyday to my least favorite app. Whatever the update was broke it. Almost unusable and I was the best. If I wanted to use x I would. Well job about being the worst delivery. Wtf.

The new update just gets stuck..I can't see the videos cause always gets stuck in the play momentum

I’ve used this app for years but recently I can’t even use it anymore because I’m not getting so many ads on it that I can’t navigate the app. It’s filled with pop-ups and anytime I try to read anything or just navigate the app it’s redirecting me to a third party site. It’s giving off the feel of an unsafe website that will lead to viruses. It’s a shame that the app has gotten to this point.

New update sucks, when I’m looking at soccer scores and I hit table why would I want to be taken to a random league and not the table of the league I was just looking at

This is a good app to use for Sports.
Terrible Sports App with a mediocre OS
There appears to be no writers here as it seems to be done entirely by AI and that’s why the articles have several spellings errors even a 5th grader could point out and fix. Not only that. They seem to push notifications that aren’t even sports related. Completely ridiculousness that this app can get away with this goofiness.

Would not Recommend
I used to thoroughly enjoy this app, but now it’s just a platform to share twitter(X) feeds. If you don’t have an X account, you’ll be countlessly redirected to X.com, to which you’ll need an account to view the content. Additionally, the poor performance of the app, the ad content that launches on each page without user interaction, the incredibly laughable “highlights”, and poor AI unedited reporting — this app has lost its competitive market edge.

I keep getting porn ads on this app. Figured it was an app for all ages to keep up with sports but I wouldn’t let your kids download this app. They’d rather make money than protect the younger users, disgusting.

Was my go to source for NBA news and stats. Was easy to use and super quick to get the info you need. Then the App updated and just ruined it! I’ve gone back to googling my teams. Such a shame, how can devs get it so wrong?
You’re the best
I love this app. I love it so much because my kid loves to see all his basketball trades and you could literally see any sport you want hockey soccer football take your pic baseball. It’s just the best thing and you should turn on notifications so you get whenever you pick your things

Are there any humans running this app anymore? It’s literal train wreck. You ruined such a great idea. Why? To many scary disagreements about sports? At least now I can count on technical glitches every day and a bombardment of horrible AI articles.

I’m not sure if this down to an update or not but Icant seem to get past the headline. When I click on the link to read the full article on X or Instagram I just get “Error occurred on URL…….” So I can see the headline but can’t read the story. This used to be my most used app especially around the transfer windows in the Premier League, it’s just not as polished as it used to be and doesn’t work! Sort it out devs!

News articles often not readable
I like the app for the notifications, but far too often when I tap on a one, it just gives me a message telling me I can’t view the full article because “It’s not available in my region yet”
Some problem with the app
I love the app but it drains a lot of battery and phone heats up drastically. Initially I thought the problem is with my phone’s software but that is not the case, I am getting this problem only while using this app. Please fix this!!!
