NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL
Had to actually update my review for a 2nd time. The concept of the app an event is nonexistent. It’s SSSSOOOOO. Bad at the Tour Championship. AWFUL. Map sucks and is totally inaccurate
Ways to improve the app and my opinion of the app

Leaderboard won’t open upon opening the app even though I have that option selected
Shot trails
When enlarging shot trails on app the group button is not there. Please fix.
Broken after latest update
Updated the app, and now it doesn’t work at all. I just get a blank black screen after the loading page. Can’t use it at all. Please fix immediately.
ipad App is a disaster
PGA Tour has done nothing to develop an app that works well. - when you open the app the video at the top is half cutoff and super grainy - there is so much wasted real estate on the leaderboard page - much better off just using a web browser - disaster
Good App Mostly
Like the app for most of its purpose. Somehow the sort on the round scores is messed up. Rather than sorting with minus scores at the top and highest positive scores at the bottom, it sorts Even to Par scores, then negative, and finally positive scores.

Tickets are hard to find. Ticketing interface with Ticketmaster is not seamless

I like this app to check out the leaderboard when I can’t watch the tournament. However, it’s agonizingly slow, taking 20-30 minutes to update scores. I don’t know how the organization that literally controls the events can’t create an app update scores faster.
PGA Tour vs LIV Tour
I do not think any of the LIV players should be able to play in any of our PGA tournaments like the Major tournaments. They are no longer a member of the PGA Tour. I wish they would consider changing this.

Make it simple stupid.
Survivor
Love this app and game. Play it all the time. My only complaint is with the Survivor challenge. It’s been multiple times that you’ve advertised it at a certain time, and I’ve arranged my schedule around it, for it to not show up. Please stop wasting our time.
Baggage
Any time you log on the app grows by adding documents and data, Need to allow user the option of deleting same
Late
The leaderboard is consistently behind the real-life pace by multiple holes. It can take up to 30 minutes for new data from the course to be reflected on the PGA Tour’s official leaderboard, both on the app and the website. This is inexcusable when the Masters has a much better and faster app even though it is only used for one weekend out of the entire year.
More than you could ask for
I never leave reviews as I forget half the time and sometimes I expect an app to be good… however, the PGA tour app goes above and beyond with what it offers. You can see live updates of your favourite golfers when they are playing and live scores. You can add these to your Home Screen so you never miss anything. I’ve only mentioned a fraction of what it offers and I’m still finding things that amaze me. Highly recommend.
Sloooow updates
Horrible updates on scoring! Takes 15-30 minutes for scores to be posted‼️ in a world of instant communication this is Neanderthal performance‼️ I Can’t believe the PGA Tour allows such horrible reporting……they’re so busy with useless tracking, bling & tech they can’t fix the #1 reason they exist “report live scoring” 🤮
No longer works in iOS 16
Great app but stopped working on iOS 16 4 versions ago.

Slow Score Updates
The app has a lot of great features, I love the overview of the holes, and looking up stats, but what I mainly use the app for is for score updates. Unfortunately within the past few months the score updates have gotten incredibly slow, at least two holes, if not 3 holes behind real time events. I’ve tried restarting the app and other troubleshooting, but it appears to be an issue with the app itself. Shame.

This app has not been work for a while. Please fix.
Ad Overkill
The ridiculous amount of ads ruins the experience. They are fully across the whole iPad Pro screen. Allow a paid version to remove them or just cut them back by about 90% and make them smaller and less in the way.
Another PGA Department Helpful with problems
App Support link does not provide anyway that I can email them - unlike other App developers. However, via their Data Protection Team, the Developers have solved my problems. Very grateful.
Updates are a joke
Scores are at least one to two holes behind. What a joke!

Great app except always behind. Current watching 2026 PGA Championship, the leader is walking down 18 and the app still shows he just completed 16!

How does ESPN have faster updates on scores than the PGA Tour?
This app is trash. It's the US Open and no shot tracker. They show Rory on 18 and he's doing a TV interview AFTER he signed his card. Just like NBC, they need to up their game!

So LATE!!
I’ve never seen such a lame sports app from a “real-time” perspective. Baseball and football apps provide every pitch or snap asap. This app runs SO behind the live event. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to have the correct scores on the leaderboard. Just unreal.
Why so far behind?
I like all the features but leaderboard is about a half hour behind! Sometimes I see spelling errors in golfer names. Otherwise, it’s easy to use. I do wish I could customize my view.

Love the golf, terrible app
I’ve been there five events this year and this app gets overwhelmed very easy and does not update and I never know the actual real time score. They gotta do some upgrades.
Slow opening
It takes a long time to open the app on my iPad. The content is good once inside but getting it open is very frustrating. It becomes my last choice for tee times or leaderboards.

Leaderboard for champions tour doesn’t work. Just gives you a white screen. Tried removing app and reinstalling, but didn’t work. Was good when it worked but not now.

The ‘tap to add favorite’ pop up is super annoying. It comes up every time I used the app. It should only pop up once, then stop.
Leaderboard Lag
The leaderboard lags at least 20-30 minutes behind espn and live play. Very disappointing!!!!
App not Opening
After downloading an update to the PGA Tour app earlier today, it doesn’t launch. I rebooted my iPhone, but still it doesn’t launch. Updated version downloaded, but still the app doesn’t launch (iOS 16.17.4) This problem still exists. Please fix it. Sent emails to PGA HQ, but the same silent response as writing a review of the app. The PGA Golf developers are obviously not interested in resolving issues in reviews written by users of their app. Despicable if you ask me!!! No action translates into “Can’t be bothered about addressing the issue of the app not loading.” You ought to be ashamed!

I get signed out of my account every single day!! I get alerts for round 1 completions during round 3.
Problem
Hi not sure if anyone else is having the same problem but after each round I have not got the sign so I can switch players ?
Notification spam
The newest release added notifications every time a favorite player has a range session. There’s no ability to disable these notifications without losing other notifications for this player, so I either lose the notifications I do want or have to get spammed by notifications I don’t care about. Please fix this
PGA Tour App not Launching
I use an iPhone 8 and the software version is iOS 16.7.15 which cannot be upgraded further. This iPhone model is no longer supported, having reached the end of its iOS support life cycle. This software functioned perfectly with your app until the latest upgrade to version 2026.2.6. So it looks like my software is no longer compatible with the PGA Tour app version 2026.2.6? Please confirm. I received the following response from the development team “Please update the Operating System to 17 or higher on your iPhone.” If you were to read my earlier post you will notice my software version is iOS 16.7.15 which cannot be upgraded further i.e. my phone has reached the end of it’s iOS support life cycle. So I can’t upgrade my iOS version. If this means I can no longer use the app, then so be it.

Previously finished event shows up as current event
I’m using this app from Korea and current event shows up as previously done event, and not sure how to fix this.
On leaderboard score, clicking on round title still sort by total
The application is nice and I used it from time to time. When On leaderboard score, if we want to see who did the best score for the round by clicking Rx title, il will still sort by total. Best regards.
Won’t load leaderboard
You updated the app again tonight - Friday and it still won’t load the leaderboard. It’s been that way for 2 updates.
Player information gone
App is lacking most information on players. All the information that used to be on the players by clicking on their name, tapping on their picture is completely gone. This is information that gives us about the information of a player. We follow follow on every tournament is completely disappeared. If there’s a reason for this let us know. If not, let us know why it’s gone and put it back. If there’s a reason, let us know what it is. thank you.
