Horrible Refund Policy
Booked a hot deal tee time nearly a week out. Canceled the next day. Wouldn’t refund my account only gave me credits that expire in 6 months. Very predatory. Your better off just calling your local course than using this terrible app
Senior rates
When I book with Golf Now, if a course offers a Senior rate, there is no option to get/pay the Senior rate, I’m stuck paying the normal rate which limits my use.
Falling behind
When I first started using Golf Now, there was a good amount of courses to pick from with morning tee time now I can’t find any. Most of the courses have dropped. Stop using Golf Now.

Don’t expect customer support
I booked a tee time and couldn’t make it, but the representative called the ProShop and since the pro shop wouldn’t refund the money, but I paid through the app. So I lost money on a round and I’m very angry.
Tee Time Checkin not working
The app is fine but the check in via the app does not work. The button is there, but for the past month it hasn't allowed any check in via the app. Which isn't a big deal as checking in at the golf course is usually pretty easy and required to get cart keys. But wanted to make you aware that it isn't working as stated.
Got canceled on the day
I got canceled on the day and golf course told me they never received the booking. I called GolfNow then they gave me $20 promo code. Extremely frustrating

Golfing Logic
This app is well worth the money. It has saved me over $500 and the year is not over and I haven’t played the amount of golf I usually play. I have this app on auto-renew.
Cannot get money back
I accidentally booked a wrong tee time but immediately cancelled. However, the system accepted the cancellation then told me no refund due to 24 hrs policy. Called in and basically told me no execuse . Only provide vouch where limited to after 12 pm tee times and only used from Monday to Saturday.
Bug Report
Since you don’t have an option to report a bug I’m doing so here. The course review page has a glitch that only allows to give one rating between all of the available fields (overall, course conditions, staff friendliness, etc). As soon as a star is selected for a second field the first disappears.
Mobile check in is flaky
Mobile check in is a good idea, but does not always work. For some courses, I get the email to check in hours after my tee time.
Cannot see course reviews
I’ve used this app a few times to check out the reviews of courses and they’ve always been very helpful but now I can only see numbers no text reviews. What am I doing wrong?

App crashes continuously
I absolutely love the app and have the paid version, but I’ve had a recurring issue that’s becoming pretty frustrating. Over the past couple of months, I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app about six times because it will get stuck on the “GN” loading screen and completely freeze. I’m using the newest iPhone, and I don’t experience this issue with any other apps, so it seems like there may be an issue with the app itself. I really enjoy using the app and would appreciate it if this could be looked into.

I’m a member of a golf Pass. I get little value from it. And when intent book on GolfNow, it wants me to pay another $100 to get a $3 discount. Just give me credit for the &100 bucks I already spent. What a waste of money.

Not applying $10 promo and poor customer service
They log me out of the app every time I close it. The $10 promo code doesn’t work in their own app. And when I called the service center I was put on hold for 5 mins until I decided to hang up. I know it’s only $10 - but it’s the principle of the matter…
Getting Better
This was my first time using a golf tee times booking app in 20y. The app worked well at the start, then a few glitches started to occur in a several areas, mainly in the course search section. I stopped using the app due to frustration. But the app has continually been improving since then, functionality/glitches have been resolved. Overall the app UI is well laid out, constant improvements are being implemented along with the discounts/promo offered makes it an app I will continue to use.
Charges card without tee time being available
Wen’t to go set up a tee time and they said it wasn’t available anymore after I clicked book time, and still charged my card.

Useless app with horrible support. Playing partner had a medical emergency and have no ability to cancel the round. Just book directly with the course. You would have to be near brain dead to pay for a subscription. Half the links and articles in the app don’t work. Horrible experience with no value-add. Will be charging this one back on my credit card. If Gina is a real human know you are useless.
Great Except….
I have been using GolfNow for a number of years. I like to travel and explore various golf courses wherever I am at. This means I often will be the only player for my reservation. Lately, I have found more and more golf courses will not let me get my tee time, whether regular or hot deals, unless I have at least two players. Can anything be done about this?
Call the course when you book a time!!!
Hey GolfNow, do you have any clue what it feels like to have a tee time booked, show up to the course only to find out that the course is closed? It has happened my last two times. And I've booked time off work, I've coordinated with the rest of my family for child care, it takes a lot of effort. And you are there offering tee times that don't exist only to refund my money. That's not good enough. I need a voucher towards my next round, and not a voucher that is limited to hot deals only on week days after 12:00.

Works great in Ontario, but in PEI now and can’t get it to find a single course. I thought it was good almost everywhere
Mistakes and Ads
I’m having to call too often, which takes a considerable amount of my time. Tried to apply a bonus gift card my wife gave me for Christmas…..card not valid! Have to call again. Presently on a golfpass plus membership. I was offered early renewal last year at a reduced price. The 10 “free” cancelations were not credited to my account - had to call. Then after 5 free fees, I started getting charged fees. Called and the agent told me I only get 5??? Too frustrated to stay on the phone any longer, so I was ripped-off of 5 booking fees. Free cancelations are not free. GN does not refund fees and taxes. Not my definition of free. Also they have some convoluted system if you have used a promo code and wish to cancel one person in your group. You lose a percentage of your promo code??? That’s enough ranting for now.

Don’t bother
Good luck deleting your account. It’s not an option. You literally pay more for using this app to golf with. Call the course, they will tell you the same thing. UPDATE: Received an email about this review with no helpful information other than word salad about value for customer, us, vs value for the app developers. They don’t care about us the customer. Just call the course instead and save lots of money.

Don not use the invites option because the app is going to charge double the green fee. I wrote to Golf now after search and search the contact support and they don’t do anything

Bad GolfNow
I have had issues with a specific course on GolfNow, I’ll attempt to book a tee time and it’s taken off of “hot deals” while I’m trying to book Three seperate occasions, and I believe it’s GolfNow not the course.
Decent
Just tried to book a tee time for the golf pass + membership that I have and it kept asking me to purchase it to get the better price. Ended up booking for more. Glitchy!
The best golf app
You can’t beat the deals, prices, or discounts! I recommend the yearly membership for even more savings if you play at least 10 rounds plus each year! Very happy with the app.
Refund policy
Golfnows refund policy is ridiculous. While I don’t agree with only getting credits back when canceling within the appropriate time frame at least I can understand it. The policy that states refunds for hot deals can only be used for hot deals is asinine. A dollar is a dollar so it should be able to be spent for any tee time.
Needed app but frustrating
This app is needed to make booking golf easy but on the flip side this app is super frustrating. 1. a charge should appear for not being able to get the tee time im trying book. 2. It needs to be more seamless with showing which times are actually free, nothing makes me more frustrated seeing a time that is already booked being on list. You guys book it for us already take it off the list when you book it. 3. Will randomly delete your payment method making it more frustrating when competeing for a time. as i said this app is needed for easy tee time booking but goddam is it also frustraing at times
