- Ads pop up and interrupt reading
- Hard to turn off weather alerts
Great app!
Great app with all local news!! Personally, I would love to see the widgets :) Would be helpful to see top news/stories in the widget without going into the app. Like Reddit or Apple News do. Thank you!
Broken
Is anyone working on this? The weather module is unusable on multiple devices
Love the way the weather updates are written! Sooo clever...
Thanks
No more sections
The latest update got rid of all the sections. I’d like to read stories from “Don’t Waste Your Money”, but that section is gone now. That was one of the main reason I got the app.
Annoying when reading
It’s annoying when reading a story and that “top stories” drops down causing the entire page to shift... Still one of the better news apps at the moment but hella annoying
Great app!
This is my main weather app, i really rely on it! Thanks!
Cams cam
Cam should be told that “get” sounds like pet and let not hit or pit. He was very annoying when he kept saying git on the Thursday night new s. I changed to ch 12 b/c he hurt my ears.
Weather
I would like more info in the weather daily, they only show current pressure at that time of day and humidity, pollen etc. I need to know the Highs and Lows of the day so I can track Migraines. So this app is lacking in the most important information for me personally. Weather Bug works a whole lot better.
New update messes up weather
This was my go-to Cincinnati weather and news app, but with the remake, the weather section is awful. It’s rarely correct with the “feels like” or current temperature. When I try to refresh it, the sections go gray—nothing shows up for the forecast, hourly, daily, etc. Very disappointing!
More updates than I want
I only have it for traffic updates but frequently get other notifications I’m not interested in
Great app!
Best weather and up to date news in Cincinnati…
Steve Raleigh
I’m cutting all ties with channel nine news after the incident with Steve Raleigh. It seems to be getting swept under the rug.
News updates
It seems like there are stories on the app that are outdated and lingering for days.
You are Excellent
You do a very. Good job you are excellent Richard Harp.
New ads make app unusable
The app has changed so now any time I touch a News article to scroll up or down and ad opens. It used to only do that if I touched the actual advertisement section. Now it happens every time I touch the article to scroll and read. Terrible user experience, downloading a different news app today.
Frequent crashing
I would like to use this app more often but it is aggravating. It crashes often while scrolling through headlines. Need to fix this!
Carol
I left Fox19 as reports on weather on app showing several days ago. I want instant results weather so I can go. Not sure why prev weather necessary. Have WCPO Love this app can get weather updates and top stories and traffic. Love it and think it is on target for what I have been searching for. WCPO is great.
WEATHER ALERT!!! But 1st watch this commercial
WEATHER ALERT!!! But 1st watch this commercial... which probably won't play, freezes the app, therefore you can't watch the video about the tornado warning. Suffering through a commercial before being able to view a severe weather alert video? Money before lives. Well done, WCPO.
Equal treatment of all stories
When I open the website I immediately see many different stories. I can see your brief overview of each story and decide what I want to read. I don’t see any bias and I am always searching for that. Good job. Keep up the good work
The most recent update added more steps for weather.
I use this app to check the Weather daily. Since the update, I now have to do two extra steps in order to see the full hourly weather and the full weekly weather. Before I could see it all in the first page. I understand that the rest of the app may have gotten better, but I know I’m going to have to download a Weather app that doesn’t make me go through three steps just to see what used to take one step. Unfortunately, I will have to delete this one.
My favorite Cincinnati news app
I’ve tried the other Cincinnati news station apps and kept going back to this one. It’s the easiest to use and I like how it’s organized showing a simple list of stories. Every once in a while I look at the others but none have topped my fondness for WCPO’s. Keep up the good work!
STOP sending weather alerts
STOP sending me daily weather notifications. I specifically have weather notifications turned off in the settings of your own app. Yet every single morning I get daily weather notifications and sometimes also multiple times a day. STOP IT. I want news. The app is good for that. Not weather. 1 star until you stop
News
I would like more news about northern Kentucky.
Bias
Articles written from a biased slant. Report the news and facts instead of pushing your left winged agenda down our throats.
The morning weather notifications are THE BEST
To whoever writes the morning weather notifications...you’re hysterical! I start every weekday laughing. I don’t live in Cincinnati anymore, but I keep the app just so I can read them!
Stories jumping around, constant crashes
Stories are constantly jumping around in the app as you scroll through and app crashes multiple times a day. Never had these problems until the past six months.
Best source for local weather
I depend on this app for local news and weather. It’s very quick with news updates and bulletins, and I rely on the morning weather (plus it’s always good for a laugh). This is the best source for Cincinnati news and weather.
Juvenile
The “humor” attempted in the daily morning weather notifications is juvenile and annoying.
