What people like
- It is great for local news
What they complain about
- Videos autoplay and play sound unexpectedly
- Too many ads interrupt your reading
- App locks up and crashes often
- No option to view older articles
Great app, very informative
Love it but I hate that the sound comes on if you click a story. I wish the story would come up and then you have to hit the sound to turn on.
Infuriating
Can’t turn off videos, prefer to read only
Auto Sound on Ads
Turn it off!
Video auto play
Stop playing video automatically every time I go into a news article.
TV
It’s Great News
Where’s the story?
The alert is that tomorrow’s commute may be disrupted due to a fire. After sitting through the app commercial there is no such story. Of course, this is expected by the channel that interrupts new broadcasts of Jeopardy and 25 words or less to bring us news about the Bengals that nobody cares about.
New version
Previous version was better. You can’t fwd a story and sound defaults to on when u play a video. God forbid you’re looking at your app in a meeting and click on a story with a video.
Please
Please remove the news broadcaster that covered the three-year-old Hispanic girl missing in Cincinnati this morning Amber alert. That’s the worst voice I’ve ever heard in my entire life. She struggled reading. How can you put her on prime time? Let her get some experience please don’t do that to your viewers again.
Irritating newsreels
Please let me know if there is a way to turn off the newsreels that automatically come on when scrolling through the news feeds. Short of silencing the phone, which also silences incoming calls and messages, there’s no way to turn off the audio from the newsreels. Thanks in advance.
To many ads
Every time I click on it I have to wait for a paid ad to finish. Not worth it.
To Many Ads
Watching their channel now on TV through cable. Trying to watch live and continual ads.
Suckage!!!
This app sucks. I don’t want to hear ads. I just want to read the news. I’m about to delete it.
No way to view older articles?
I see no way to view older articles. So when I want to send someone an article from last week it can’t be done. Why would you block people from accessing these older stories?
Can’t stop the auto play
Not sure why all of my settings are correct but this ap does nothing but auto play every video and ad on it.
Ads
Ads on start up can be and have been getting really annoying every time the app opens.
App update
Frustrating. Have to click through two ads before I get the news feed. Stories won’t close unless I hit X or back twice
Video ads
Video ads should be optional. When sitting in a place that is quiet and just wanting to READ the news I shouldn’t open an article for some loud video to play. Using the app less than I use to because of this.
Too many ads now
I use to like this app. But now there is too many ads
I need larger letters ( font ) or a bold dark letting or print type rather than this small light
😔😞☹️
Worse now!!
The FOX19 Now app has been “updated” and it is terrible now! Please restore it back to the previous version!!
Fair App
App doesn’t give you the option to stop the autoplay of videos. And recently the number of ads continues to increase.
New app is poor!
Locks up. Video volume is not muted. Few news stories.
