What they complain about
- Ads pop up and ruin your reading
- App crashes often or won't load
- Stories are old and not updated
- Typos appear in many articles
Local news
Thanks for bringing local news to our citizens. It’s so refreshing to receive the news without the agenda we get from national news.
Horrible typos
Who is doing your proofreading recently? Because maybe you need to hire me…. Because I have caught over 6 typos in 5 different articles in just the last two weeks.
WRTV vs Ch13
I too deleted the Ch13 news app. It was hard to follow, full of advertisements, and disorganized with nothing pertinent. WRTV is easy to follow and read. Tells me what I want to know in an organized fashion. Nice app. Good job WRTV.
Fairly good app
Occasionally this app would not be right about the weather and does crash a lot (for me at least) overall a mid app
Was my go-to for news updates
The last update ruined it. In the middle of reading a news item, loud ads will pop up and disrupt your reading. WTH! There are already enough ads in between news stories. Now they can’t even wait till you get to the end.
Excellent news app
Easy to use App and the best local coverage. A+A+A+
Not live news
4-13-22 we live in Seymour and get the Louisville tv stations they were more focused on the tornadoes in Kentucky so I downloaded this app to get live updates on the tornado moving from Bedford to north of Seymour There is about a 10-15 minute delay so it was already on us while the app showed it was not The coverage was good but it was too late
Solid news app
Well organized, easy to navigate.
WRTV news? More like WNBA news
This might as well be a WNBA news app because it’s practically the only news they cover.
Moved over from WTHR
I just dropped Channel 13 after they replaced a really good news app with a totally illogical and click-bait-laden mess. Really pleased with your app, clear to navigate, ads are not outweighing the content, and intend to stay. Thanks for not feeling your app has to look like a teenager’s Instagram.
Basically unusable on iPhone
Any time I open a story more than half of the text on left hand side of page gets cut off, with no way to adjust size, etc. I’m disappointed as this is the last serious news service in the Indianapolis area.
Love this app
This app is great very easy to navigate and informative.
Too many ads
Too many pop up ads with the last update. Useless to use and read the news now.
Mmmm
Good very good
Articles not readable
Some articles aren’t formatted correctly so it is impossible to read because the 90 % of the text is off your screen.
Great News App
I am new to the news app thing but I like wrtv's app always gives great updates on breaking news etc thanks wrtv
Could be improved - not kept up to date
Stories are stale and not updated near as frequently as the competition Why do they have the same story posted five times? So many typos!
Love this channel!!
They make sure that I get the news as it is happening!
Animal abuse
If you are psychotic and love pictures of animal abuse then download this app. Because all they do is show pictures of tortured animals. They don’t focus on tracking down who did it. They just like to show the pictures. Beyond horrible app that provides no news besides animal abuse
Great app just missing one feature
Please add pinch to zoom to pictures! Our phones are tiny so a picture that can't be zoomed is only as big as our screen. Details are important!
Crash
The app Crashes a lot when opened.
❤️ LOVE IT ❤️
Up to date very informative app. The weather lay out is awesome as well. The only thing I wish could be changed is a follow-up on ALL the stories when someone/something needs to be done about a situation or an accident etc. js
Doesn't work
Nothing loads. It's completely blank.
Terrible. Just terrible
I really used to like all platforms for rtv. Back when you could listen to it on fm. But I just can’t do this app anymore. Compared to other local news-and when you throw in the star it is very easy to compete with-it just fails. The stories are usually 24-48 hours behind-meaning stories rarely get updated. Although very minor, but speaks to the neglect of the app, often times the same graphic appears for multiple stories, day after day. It’s almost laughable when some graphics appear for the same story. RTV6, how are you still doing this??
On top of national and local stories
This is a great go to app to stay informed and on top of breaking news!
Not loading
Hasn’t loaded any news for the past few days
Very shaky
The app is not as good as past wrtv apps . Very shaky.
Officer Pickett’s funeral
So glad this channel showed everything to the end.
Was fine until...
Ads starting popping up and taking over my entire screen without the ability to close them forcing me to close the entire app without being able to read the story. And not just regular ads, those awful 'you just won a new iphone' clickbait scam ads. Sayonara RTV6.
App is so-so
The app needs to be updated to work with iOS 10.2.1 on iPhone to show the entire news article headline, not just the first line. App is also very 'jumpy' as one scrolls thru the news articles.
RTV6 Most Trusted
I believe that RTV6 offers the most up to date news coverage in the area. Its my “go to” station for weather and breaking news.
No notifications
There was 10 stories in the app and one of those is about 2 kids missing in Carroll County but no notifications about anything it seems like RTV6 doesn't care about anything. Everything is checked for notifications and no notifications. I have sent feedback and wrote reviews too many times on Apple and Android nobody cares and nothing gets done. It doesn't matter if it's Apple or Android nothing works. Then it takes you three months to say anything when I wrote the review 2-14-17 and you comment 5-17-17 then your comment is to only send feedback in the app and not in the App Store. I have never had anyone let me know that anyone is working on the problem. I like I said I wrote that review three months ago as soon as I wrote that review I deleted the app for good and I don't watch your news channel and nobody else i know does either.
Stories bunch up
Need to fix problem with storylines bunching up. They go from the 2 sentence down to a single line. Tried to reload app no luck.
Wrtv 6 rocks
Love wrtv. 6 my favorite news channel
Jbjackson
I hate the way the app overlaps the headlines. It's hard to read and a waste of my time. On to a different channel app. Let me know when it's fixed.
