All gone
11 years of journaling and it all disappeared overnight! Devastating 😭😭
What to improve feedback
Good app, I like this more than Apple Journal, but needs to 2 changes: - Update the app for iOS 26, so that it has the nicer looking, more modern keyboard. - Fix the glitch where if I write about my day, and then save it, it takes me back to main menu, but then if I press the entry I just wrote, and then star it to show its a great day, the star goes away after a few seconds for some reason even if I didn’t press it, and I have to star it and then close the entry very quickly after in order to keep it starred.

Items on this App disappeared
I have been using this app for a few years now but I just noticed that all my entries except few recent ones disappeared and I have no idea what happened to them. I have no idea how to retrieve them either. It would be nice to have someone from this team to talk to.
Best journal app!
I've been using this app for 13 years. It's the best. I love everything about it. I hope it stays exactly the same. I'm so grateful that it's not subscription based and that it's crafty and handmade looking rather than a "sleek" modern look like everything else out there. Yet has all the background technical features that make it powerful and useful. Thank you!
Deletes if you go out of the screen
I was typing and pulled up Google to add in a graph and even though the app was still open it deleted my entire entry. This will be a huge problem if you’re intending to use for more than just writing a log and moving on.
So Simple, No Pressure Free Flow Writing
Great daily (or as needed) Journal. One of the few apps I’ve ever paid for. My only complaint is the optional sliding face scale (😡-😁) doesn’t include any sad faces. Only various smiles, the middle being a face with no expression 😑, than it jumps right to various angry faces. I find this very odd to not include one of the most basic human emotions: disappointment, sadness, loss/grief.
Backup missing
After the update, part of the diary was lost. The diary was still not found using the backup and recovery function, but it could be found one by one in the backup database. What happened? Could you fix it? It’s disturbing me. Thank you.
Improvements
More features needed like multiple emotion indicators
Love It!!
One of the best journal apps ever!! Also, when they update and there is an issue or problem — it’s fixed very quickly. Friendly customer service and great developers!! Thank you!
0 star was not possible
Youre forcing me to subscribe at the end , not even keeping a free version with advert.? Greedy developers
Jimmy
My 5th year now and I write what my day was like right before I go to bed every night. It’s great way to keep tract of what your day was like. I write down what I accomplished, and talk about the weather in the beginning. I can check back to see what day I did what and sometimes that is very helpful. Thank you guys for creating this app.
What is with ads
That are now in inconvenient places
Nice but needs improvement
Need to easily download information or print.
12 years of journaling
I originally got this app in 2014 and I've loved it for over a decade! It's very charming and cute. Thank you!
What a waste of time!
I’ve been so enjoying using this nice little app, until today that is! Why? I go to use it only to find it’ll cost me £9.99 to carry on using it! What an absolute insult from the developers! Not only do I not have that kind of money to spend on this app, even if I had I certainly would never use it! Greed is a terrible and disgusting thing, and it’s us people who don’t have or choose not to use the money to use these apps who suffer. Which is grossly and extremely unfair. So thanks to your greed developers app deleted!!!!!!!!!!
Good Notes
It is wealthy to have it on phone

10+ years
Been using this app since December of 2012 wanted to journal my being days in the military ended up still using it after I got out and now I can’t see myself not using this app. It’s easy to use and very affective. Only issue I have is I can’t seem to view my entries from early on it only goes a couple years back. Don’t know if that’s because of a setting or something I’m Missing but that’s the only issue. Other than that. Great App! Highly recommend!
History gone
Been using this app for 5 years. Today’s all previous entries are gone
Private wranglings
I like the passcode that ensures my private thoughts stay that way. I sometimes use the share function to share with my counselor, which it does as simple text. The only thing it’s missing is a spellcheck. If it’s something I think I’ll use elsewhere like my blog, I have to copy and paste to Word so I catch all the typos.
不具合
日記を書こうとしてもお金を払ったら解放されますのような画面が出てきてバツを押すと元の画面に戻り書けないです
Good app UI can be improved!!
Good application, there are few things can be improved, the theme looks the same since 2016 the paid version is 899₹ it should be worth it.
I’ve been writing in this for over 10 years
I’ve had no data loss and the app is cute. No complaints. thank you for allowing me to document my life from pre-teen to adulthood,
Lost all my entries
Out of the blue, everything I’ve been compiling for the past 8 years has disappeared and the app is like a new app now with no entries and it’s just got instructions on how to navigate the app instead. I don’t understand!!! 8 whole YEARS worth of journaling gone just like that!!!
Does what it says
I have been using this app for several years and am very happy with it. I particularly like being able to export my journal as a .pdf file and email it to myself for backup onto a hard drive. My one bugbear is that I am totally unable to find a method of deleting multiple entries so having exported I have to go through a day at a time to delete entries. I need to do this to free up space on my iPad.

Not working with ios13.2.1
The diary doesn’t save ur information after 29sep.
Best journal app!
Love this app! This is the best gift I have ever given myself. To be able to document what’s going on in my life and refer to later! The details all of the things that I would’ve forgotten is priceless. Do yourself a favor get this app journal and you will thank yourself later.
Why should you have to pay for this
Good app for the 14 day trial then you have to pay for entries. Honestly this is ridiculous
Great App but in 2022
Hey, you guys added ads now on your App. I understand why but you put the add below where the write or pencil whatever is. Like how can I use it without clicking the add first. I have the pro version by the way! Please fix it. Put the add somewhere else!!!!
My feeling
Luv these.❤️💞💖💛💙 But sometimes .. Too Slowly
Latest update made it almost unusable
Updated because the app would no longer let me add photos on the old version. Now when opening the app, half the time it is so slow to respond to any action/constantly freezes/won’t type/etc, that’s it’s unusable. Closing and reopening the app doesn’t fix it, neither does restarting my phone. I just have to wait and keep checking until it decides it wants to work again. It’s great when it’s working - I have been using it almost daily for 4 years - but since I updated a month ago, at least 50% of the time it isn’t working.
The best writing app
This is the best app that I have used and if anyone is wanting to find a good app personal writing or to have your own diary I would use this app and it doesn’t glitch.
Not for IOS 10
Was using it all the time on my iPad...but the updated version doesn't work on IOS 10 ....can't even open it.
Great Value App BUT…
… if it was updated with widget capability that would bring it right up to date for the current IOS landscape - please add this feature ASAP!

Hi,
Personally not what I was looking for, but a great little app.
Great storage
It’s a great place to store messages to your friends you can copy and paste them and go over the message making it perfect . It’s also a helpful tool for when your troubled you can make notations and review it later I love this app
14 days ONLY!!!
I started to use this app very dedicated. Every day I would enter my mood (not a great variety to be honest) write my days, enter emojis and tracking my habits. On the 15th day. I get a notification THE FREE VERSION ONLY ALLOWS YOU 14 ENTRIES. Now having to pay a one time 13.99$ or a yearly subscription of $13.49 ???? Also, having to click on the darn pen every time you want to edit a day. When you’re already in it. Just let me click on the text to edit for crying out loud.....
Great stuff
It’s amazing. So much fun to record every big and small. User friendly and helpful.
Good
Would have give 5 star, if it has hand writing feature so that user will get the real experience of writing diary.
Bug with iCloud sync
There is a bug with iCloud sync; there is a persist pop-up window, and this pop-window prevents me from going further into the app. Therefore, the app is useable with this version. I am on the latest IOS, and the latest version of the app. Please notify me when the app has been updated or there are steps to correct this problem.
Passcode doesn’t work
I have the Lite version of this app and my passcode does not work. I do not want to install it again because I will lose all my entries. I can’t even find the version I have in the App Store and so I downloaded this version so I could l leave this review and see if there’s any way around this problem. I’m very upset that I may have lost everything I’ve written.
No subscription needed
I enjoy this app a lot and it’s one of the best journaling ones out there. However when I first got it, I paid for all the features at a much smaller amount. Out of the blue an update appears and I have to pay even more to unlock everything. It wasn’t a case of me hitting restore purchases as the costs were different. However every other app out there seems to be subscription only these days so I bit the bullet and paid the extra for all the features. This app is completely useable without paying the extra amount. I just wanted to support it. I only hope I don’t get a repeat of an update causing me to pay more for something I already enjoy using :/
Bug
I used to use this app all the time but layed off cos I’m lazy. I came back to use it recently but every 5 seconds it would freeze up for another 5 and then I could use it for 5 and so on. I have iPhone 5s, latest iOS and latest update, please fix this bug because it was perfect otherwise
