What people like
- Very simple and easy to use interface
- No annoying ads or useless notifications
- Clean design without unnecessary clutter
What they complain about
- Blocks you after five entries unless you pay
- Payment doesn't actually unlock the app properly
- No password or fingerprint lock for privacy
- You cannot change the date of an entry
Diary
Very easy to use.
Worthless app
The diary was fine until Day 6 when I had to purchase unlimited stage. That’s okay, I paid the fee but I could never get beyond Day 5. Every time I tried to use it, I was blocked with the reminder to buy unlimited storage… that I had already bought. The app is worthless at, that point and I finally deleted it. It is not worth the cost if it doesn’t work.
It’s really good but..
Today is only my first day on it but it’s amazing already! The only thing I would add is maybe a lock to the app because of u write so personal things you don’t really want your family going in there looking what you have wrote! Thanks for this app I do recommend it but please just please add a lock thanks bye xx ✌🏻
Limited storage.
Like the title says. You can only make 5 diary entries before you have reached the limit. You can then pay about £2.80 for unlimited storage. I’m really bummed out, I was planning on journaling more…I’d thought it was great in all other aspects but this. I wish you would have warned me first. Two stars.
Nearly right.
Would be better if I could go back and add in a day I had missed. Recently had an issue when 7 days disappeared from diary. Unfortunately no response to my email from developer. Poor after sales service.
Good and Simple
I was just looking for a simple to use diary for my trips abroad and this was it.
??????
How do you delete notes?
Easy to use
Easy to use app. The one very big thing I wised it did was let me change the date for those times I forgot an entry and want to put it in a day or two later
Won’t Sync Between IPad & IPhone
Have been closing and reopening the app on both my phone & iPad in an effort to get it to sync - but nothing. Perhaps it’s overnight…!
Sometimes I can’t scroll
I have the purchased version and when I’m looking at an entry, 90% of the time my ability to scroll down is lost. It’s quite annoying. I do like the app though.
Love The Game
^%I Love This Game It helps me get my stress out when I'm stressed it Very nice I would Definitely Recommend^%
Freezes
Nice UI. Completely freezes using search function.
Really useful
This app is really useful and nice to write/ jot own things an it has a nice simple layout which is good. The only own side is that there is limited storage to those who do not pay monthly like myself but overall not a bad app.
My view
Doesn’t have many options unless you were to buy the app which isn’t helpful as if I were to buy every app I used all I would be working for would be apps.
Not free!
Enjoyed this greatly. But after 5 entries I have to pay £2.99 to continue. Also could really do with a passcode feature. I am using it though, I like simplicity.
Love the diary
I love the app and use it every day for my work schedule. It would be nice when in search mode, and sea h is being done, that it would revert to the previous screen rather than start the search again. Thanks
Misleading
Like so many apps, this seems to be free but after 5 or so short entries I was asked to pay “for more storage” before continuing. Just make it a pay app then. Deleting.
Like it
Great app for what I need to do wish it could have larger fonts
So far, dissatisfied.
I download this app. After4 entries, it said I was out of space and needed to purchase unlimited storage for $2.99. I do so. I still can’t make an entry and it is still telling me I need to purchase unlimited storage for $2.99. I checked in my settings and I did make the purchase. Until this issue is fixed I cannot give more stars. Two was generous.
Needs to have a lock or passcode
An excellent app, but can’t give it a 5 star review b/c it need to have a lock. Additionally, it requests after a number of entries for $2.99 purchase, unfortunately, it does not recognize the payment and continues to limit the storage
Diary
Diary is a really good app. I really like it in all my love, expressing myself inches given my phone divided attention to describing my feelings in chess given in my all talk about my emotions in the more trials and tribulations and problems that I go to with dysfunctional people on this earth
Limited app
Won’t work beyond a few entries unless you upgrade
A useful app.
Easy to use, and very handy
Diary
At first I thought it was a great app, but I have only written 5 entries, and it is saying I don’t have any storage left! I would have to pay £2.99 for unlimited storage, and all I want to do is write a diary. If you are willing to pay it, then it’s an amazing app, but if not then you will only be able to write a few entries.
Review
It’s very easy to use, but wish that date could be changed.
Should have a dark mode like other apps
It’s a great app but one minor adjustment I’d suggest would be an addition to a dark mode
A waste of a good idea
The free version gives you five days to write about. After that, you’re to pay money for any more. You’re best off just writing in a book.
Simple, straightforward.
Easy to use, just the job. Only minus is it can’t be password or fingerprint protected.
not bad
not good enough
My opinion
I love this app it is just that you need to pay to have more space for your diary!😕
Amazing!
This is the BEST Diary app I have ever found. It’s clean and simplistic. It doesn’t all kind of random added things like most Diary apps. It’s just a clean and simplistic Diary. I cannot recommend enough!
Loved but an issue
I went to add another note and it said pay for unlimited storage (I knew this would happen once I reached a certain amount of notes). I purchased it because the app is clean and simple. It ran my fingerprint for payment and went through but when I went to add another note the same thing happened... help!
Password locked would be great!
The addition of a password or passcode would be amazing!
Storage
I just started using this App. I really like it, but after 3 days I received a message about a lack of storage. It would not allow me to make a new entry until I paid the $1.99 fee. It is not clear if that is a one time fee or monthly. It is quite frustrating to be lured in just to be asked for money. Very frustrating.
Too small to read
If you can increase the size of letters
Very easy to use
No unnecessary crap like badges or useless metrics or push notifications . Just a simple format.
Don’t use this App
It’s says it’s free, but after 3 entry’s, it said it was out of storage and to pay $2.99 for unlimited storage. After paying $2.99, it popped up again the I had to pay again.
Writing Space
I just like a space where I can just put down words I am feeling in the moment and add when I want. Nice and simple.
Basic
No frills notes per day. Simple app that does what I want, but limits user to five free entries unless upgrading to the unlimited storage. Bit disappointing.
How to correct?
The app is easy to use but I haven’t figured out how to correct when I use the mike.
Nice app
I really like this app just wish I could add photos
5 Entries?!
So sad. So simple and beautiful, but no more entries until I pay? With all due respect you messed up; make it DIFFICULT to switch to another app by letting us add more and fall in love.
Amazing but one problem
I got onto it to today and it told me I had used up all my storage. I don’t understand because I have only written 3 or 4 stories. But other than that it is good.
Beware
This is an “ok” app. The memory that comes with the free app only holds about 50 characters then you need to buy ‘unlimited storage’ for $1.99. The notice to buy doesn’t say if this charge is a monthly fee or if it’s a one time fee. I'm disappointed.
So far so good
This journal is pretty basic. It doesn’t have bunch of fancy things, but it does the job. I don’t know if it is unlimited or if after a certain amount of entries I will have to pay. However, even if it’s not the full app, I appreciate that it doesn’t have annoying ads. But like I said, if you’re looking for a fancy journal, with all the bells and whistles, this is not the journal for you. If you’re looking for something basic, then, yes, this will do just fine.
Locks
I love this app so much. Tons of great ways to let out your inner feelings. Helps with mental health, family issues!! All of that. But the sad thing about it is there is no lock. I prefer my feelings being put into a journal privately. Not having to worry about people opening my phone and reading them when I’m not looking.
I payed for unlimited storage, but it doesn’t work
I started using it for free and I liked its simplicity. It was just was what I was looking for. Then, after the fifth entry it required that I pay for unlimited storage. I made the payment, but the app requires me to pay again! I cannot continue making new entries, even after I payed. I am very disappointed!
Userfriendly
This is in a nice user friendly format without all the unnecessary silly bits that others of it's kind seem to think us necessary to make it interesting. All I wanted was a functional easy format for every day use, and this is it !
One big flaw
This app would have been perfect if you didn’t have to pay to keep using
Good but needs work😊😊😌🙂😐😑😳😞😕😡
Ok so the thing I I don't like about this app is it does not have a lock.😕
