Great but one thing please
So like it’s really good but it is missing some things. So first, there’s a bug where it randomly crashes. Second, my grandma was reading it but she accidentally deleted it. And I can’t get my hard work back. Can you pls add something to restore deleted things. Edited. I updated it and it came back thanks
9ヶ月で5ギガ？画像を勝手に巨大化し容量爆増！勝手にスクロール！
【追記：重大な容量問題が分かりました】 画像容量について検証したところ、かなり問題のある挙動が確認できました。 全く新しいJPEG画像を65KB（622×850px）まで圧縮し、新規の日記に添付しました。その日の日記をPC閲覧用として出力して確認すると、同じ画像がなんと1.6MBになっていました。 65KB → 1.6MB、約25倍です。 以前の画像やキャッシュの影響ではなく、全く新しい画像・新しい日記でも再現しました。200KB程度まで圧縮した画像についても、出力すると数MB～10MB程度になっているものがあります。 さらに、iPhone上でこのアプリの「書類とデータ」が約4.9GBなのに対し、PCへ出力したバックアップも約4.8GBとほぼ同容量で、その大部分を数MB単位の画像が占めていました。 このことから、PC出力時だけ画像が巨大化しているのではなく、画像を添付する際にアプリ側で再エンコード等が行われ、大容量の画像として内部保存されているものと思われます。 つまり、利用者側で容量節約のため画像を65KBや200KBまで圧縮してから添付しても、アプリ側で再び数MBに巨大化してしまい、事前に圧縮することすらほぼ意味がありません。 長期間データを蓄積する日記アプリとして、これはかなり重大な問題だと思います。元のJPEGをそのまま保存する、あるいは容量節約モードを設けるなど、ぜひ改善していただきたいです。 ⸻ シンプルで使いやすく、毎日の日記としてはとても気に入っています。長く使い続けたいと思っており、買い切りのプレミアムサービスも検討しています。 しかし、以下の問題があるため購入を躊躇しています。 【① 写真を添付すると容量が非常に大きくなる】 約9か月、1日平均3枚程度の写真を貼って使用したところ、「書類とデータ」が約4.9GBになりました。 上記の検証結果から、単純に「高画質写真をたくさん添付したから容量が増えた」というだけではなく、アプリ側の画像保存処理によってファイルサイズが大幅に増えている可能性があります。 日記で後から見返す用途では、元写真ほどの高画質は必要ありません。 ・元のJPEGを不必要に再エンコードせず、そのまま保存する ・「高画質／標準／容量節約」など保存画質を選択できる ・最大解像度を指定できる ・既存画像を一括圧縮できる といった機能を希望します。 また、別の不可解な挙動として、日記に添付されている画像をアプリ上からiPhoneへ個別保存すると数百KB程度の低解像度画像になる一方、PC閲覧用として出力すると同じ画像が数MBになっています。 なぜ内部では大容量の画像を保持しているのに、個別保存すると低解像度版になるのでしょうか。 日記は何年、何十年とデータを蓄積していくものです。9か月で約4.9GBというペースでは、数年間使うだけで数十GBになる可能性があります。 しかも利用者側で画像を事前圧縮してもアプリ側で巨大化してしまうのであれば、現状では有効な回避方法がありません。 長期利用を前提とするアプリとして、画像容量の扱いはぜひ改善していただきたいです。 【② バックアップに非常に時間がかかる】 データ量が増えるとバックアップに非常に時間がかかり、5時間経っても完了しないことがあります。 特に、写真を必要とせず日記本文だけを保存したい場合にも、大量の画像を含めて処理しなければならないのは不便です。 例えば、 ・テキストのみ ・テキスト＋写真 ・全データ のように、バックアップ対象を選択できるようにしてほしいです。 また、バックアップ処理中に他のアプリへ切り替えても処理が継続するのか、アプリを開いたままにする必要があるのかも分かりません。 バックアップの進捗率や、「処理中はアプリを閉じないでください」等の表示があると助かります。 日記は長期間蓄積することに価値があるアプリです。それなのに、データが増えるほどバックアップそのものが困難になっていく仕様は、長期利用を考えるうえで大きな不安材料です。 【③ 編集開始時に勝手にスクロールする】 長文の日記を読んでいる途中で編集しようとすると、見ていた位置から大きくスクロールしてしまい、編集したかった場所まで毎回戻らなければならないのが不便です。 長文ほど影響が大きいため、編集開始時には現在表示している位置を維持してほしいです。 ⸻ アプリ自体は非常に気に入っています。 だからこそ長期間使いたいのですが、特に**「65KBの画像を添付すると1.6MBになる」**という挙動には驚きました。 日記アプリは数か月ではなく、何年、何十年と使うものです。長期間使うほどストレージとバックアップの問題が深刻になる現在の仕様では、買い切りプレミアムを購入して今後も使い続けてよいものか迷っています。 画像保存の仕様とバックアップ機能について、ぜひ改善をご検討いただきたいです。

広告がうるさいです
少し前からアプリを開いた瞬間から楽天モバイルの広告だけ音ありで流れるようになってしまいました。 タップした訳でもないのに、こんな爆音でずっと流れ続けるのはさすがに迷惑です…。
容量が多い
使いやすくて、重宝しているのですが容量が多いのが気になります。減らせる方法はないんでしょうか…

Great journal
I searched for a diary or journal for several years. I even tried a couple. But this simple Diary is the only one that fits the bill. I’ve only had it 3 years, but it keeps my info daily, & with pictures if I choose. I am a premium member. I recently purchased a new iPad and updated it with the journal for no extra fee. I’m still trying to bring my history to this iPad, but not really sure I will. I’ve got it backed up to my iCloud, so not sure I need the last 3 years taking up space on this device.
9800円は高過ぎる
以前から愛用しており、継続出来ているのでそろそろ課金しようかと思い、買い切り価格を見たら9800円。 確か今年の始め辺りまでは1980円だった筈で、今後継続出来そうな場合その値段なら…と思っていたのに、突然の強気過ぎる価格設定に驚きました。サブスクもやっている様ですが、年額3000円とコチラもお高め。数ヶ月前まで買い切りで2000円弱だった事を知っていると、余計に抵抗を感じてしまう。 いくら使い勝手が良くても、突然この値段になるのであれば他のアプリにすれば良かった。
容量が課題
大変良いアプリだった。一覧できるし検索性に優れる。しかし3年ほど使っていたところ、アプリの容量が60GBほどとなり、話の128GBしか容量がないスマホは、他のアプリにも圧迫されまともに動かなくなってしまった。 iCloudにバックアップしようにも、「一度内部で複製し、アップロードする」仕様からうまくいかず、手詰まりになっている。長期的な使用が見込めるなら、Day Oneなどクラウドにデータを預けられるものを使用した方が良い。

めっちゃ通知きてるみたいな感じで押したらウイルスにかかりました！みたいな詐欺の広告がポップアップで出てくる。いやまぁ課金したら消えるよってことなんだろうけど広告くらいちゃんと検閲してくれよ
Simple is Great
I use this app for work diary notes and listing each work teams activities. Would be great if we could have some pre-prepared templates for the daily note layout. I copy and past in advance so I can just fill in the information each day. The attached photos are quite large when copied into the daily page. Is it possible to decrease the physical size of them? Anyways I like it and it has replaced an app I used for 11 years called Daily Notes which was very good with some additional functionality to this one…

西暦の表示
画像化した日記を使って、某所にてかれこれ6年間、ブログ的なものをやっているのですが。 UI変更で、西暦表示がなくなり、画像を見ても何年に書かれた日記かが不明なので、シンプル日記の画像では、用をなさなくなってしまいました。 西暦表示が無いのは、日記としては不備ではないのかなと思います。 ーーーーーーーーーーー ページを開けば、年月日、曜日時間まで、すべて表示されるところに惚れこんで、これまで利用させていただいていたので、本当に残念です。 そんな個人的な都合ですが、昨年までの日記と同様に、それ以降の日記にも西暦を表示するしないの選択ができるようになると良いなぁ…と願っております。
Beautiful and easy app
This is an affordable app and easy to use. I just wanted a place to write down my daily thoughts and feelings and able to change fonts. After trying g out many other, this is the one. The layout, the ability to change colors and that it allows to add pictures is perfect. Thank you creators.
レイアウトが変わりました…
アップデートでレイアウトが変わってしまい、画像化で全て収めることができなくなりました。 1年使い続けていたので、本当にショックですし、日記アプリなのに、このようなユーザーのことを全く考えない、表記がガラッと変わるようなアップデートがなされるアプリなんだなと幻滅しました。
Great Online Diary!
I have loved using this online diary. It has helped me get my thoughts down without telling someone them. It has also helped me deal with stress which I have a lot of currently since my parents are in the middle of a breakup. The app would be even better if you could put a password on the app so no one can read your messages. I would also love it if It said your like your mood status or something like you are 86% or something. Anyway, overall it’s a great app, and I would definitely give it a 5 star rating if it had those even better if’s but since it doesn’t I have given it a 4 star rating.

買い切りプラン復活のアップデートがあったようなので早速課金しようとしたら、9,800円……このご時世、多少高くなっても仕方ないと思いましたがさすがに予想を超えていました。 買い切りプラン復活に動いてくださったことは非常にありがたいのですが、申し訳ないながら、以前の10倍近い価格は課金する気になりませんでした。 3年半ほど使えばサブスクよりお得…？って、そもそもこの先いつまでサービス継続してくれるか不透明だと感じてしまう部分もあります。 アプリ内に「一度きりの購入で生涯ずっと使える！」とありますが、開発者さまがOSアップデート対応をしなければアプリ自体使えなくなる可能性は大いにあるわけで、これは誇大広告(有利誤認)なのではないかとすら感じます。 (細かいことを言えば、恐らく昔の買い切り型で課金した方々の購入レビューが並んでいるのも気になりました。当時課金の価値がある！とレビューした方は今の価格でもサブスクに入るのでしょうか？その感想は価格/プラン変更後の今も適切なレビューと言えるのでしょうか？) 1,000円弱の頃に買わなかった自分が悪いのですが、以前の価格帯を知っていると今のサブスク加入は控えてしまうなあと、損失回避バイアスを強く自覚しました。

直近UIが変わってから 日記を画像変換する際に文書を不自然なところで切り取る不具合がでています 改善いただけますと幸いです
I recommend this app to anyone at all.
This app is great, and the lock actually works. The one thing I would suggest to change is when you are setting a time instead of 7:00, it has 7:0, 7:1 and so on. Also when you open the app, just before it shows where you enter your passcode it shows your writing for a second, and this may not seem like a problem for most, but it is for me with my sister.
文字サイズについて
アップデート後に本文の表示仕様が変更され、以前と同じ文字サイズに設定しても1行に入る文字数や改行位置が変わってしまいました。 日記を書く際に改行や文字数を意識していたため、過去の日記のレイアウトまで崩れてしまい、とても残念です。 この件について問い合わせましたが、「文字設定で変更してください」「前の方法に戻すことはできません」という回答のみで、こちらが伝えた「文字サイズではなく表示仕様の変更が問題」という点については触れられていませんでした。 元に戻せないのであれば仕方ありませんが、せめて問い合わせ内容をきちんと確認した上で回答してほしかったです。 以前の表示方式を選べる設定や、旧レイアウトに対応する機能を検討していただけることを期待しています。

バックアップがめちゃくちゃ遅い
携帯の機種変更をしようと思ってiCloudでバックアップを取ろうと思ったら、2時間経過してもバックアップ完了になりません。 携帯の電源を消したりして再起動しても同じでした。 こんなに時間が掛かるものなのでしょうか？ また、プレミアムプランの課金をしてましたがサブスク化？してプランが変わってたんですが、変更前にプレミアムプランを購入してた場合はどうなりますか？ プランの復元するか選べずに困ってます。

データを人質にしたボッ○クリ
今まで書きためた日記データを保存、復元したければ1万円払えと云う酷い改悪。 ファイルへの出力は有料の仕様であれば他にもあるのでまだしも、自分のクラウドへのバックアップすら課金しないとさせないのは悪質が過ぎる。 最初からこの仕様であれば納得して使うなり他のアプリを選ぶなりするのでしょうが、ある程度の期間使ってデータが大きくなった人もいるタイミングでのこの改悪は悪辣と言うしかありません、ユーザーにとって一番大切なデータを人質にした高額課金誘導ですから。 これから使おうとしてる人はよく考えた方がいいですし、既に使ってる人も逃げ出す方法を考えた方がいいでしょう、こんな不実な事をするところを利用していてはこの先何があるか解ったもんじゃありませんから。
This is app is SO CLOSE to perfect for me…
The ONLY thing I would like to see added is a way to create separate journals. I would love to see that feature added in the future. Even if it was a premium only. I would DEFINITELY pay the full premium price for that. But otherwise, for me, it does quite seem worth the upgrade without access to that additional feature. But it is still my favorite journaling app, so far. And that’s mainly because it is not glitchy, and it doesn’t crash all the time, like other journaling apps that I’ve used. Plus, it’s simply designed and gives you a decent amount of creative control. so, overall I really like this app, and I loved to see that feature added to really make it a perfect journaling app for me.
APP IS FROZEN for 3 days now
I’ve been using this app for awhile now almost everyday, I have so much information in it but for the past 3 days now it’s been frozen. I’m so scared if I delete the app I’ll lose all of what I’ve done on it. I don’t know how to get ahold of the developers to let them know besides on here. Please help!!!!!

Good but missing things
I LOOOVE this app for its simple design compared to all the other diary apps, but sometimes, it’s too simple. I wish there were more colors and fonts, and I also REALLY wish you could put certain entries in one font while others are different instead of it customizing the entire diary. However, these are my three main complaints. 1. this app NEEDS italics and bold added, and maybe also underlining or crossed out. I saw another review also complaining about this, it is one of the biggest annoyances. 2. the color choices are very lacking. I think a color wheel should be added for users to customize the exact color they want for their background and also header/buttons. 3. the iCloud backup thing is a little stupid, I think we should be able to just sign in with email and password and for it not to cost premium for that. I once had this app erase all of my entries and temporarily moved to another diary app, however, I came back and bought premium but I doubt many others will do this. If you can’t add email and password sign-in, at least make the iCloud backup free. Every other diary app has that huge advantage on this one.
Lost journal entries
I’ve added entries for from Saturday 1/6 through Tuesday 1/10. Tonight I opened the diary to add journal for 1/11 and I find what I wrote for Sunday and Tuesday missing?

Ad covers popup at bottom of the display. Display font and edit fonts are different sizes! When edit mode font is readable, the display font is yelling it BIG font. No sale yet.

Perfect Retirement Daily Achievement App
After my retirement 6 months ago I wanted to start a journal. Basically it was frustrating. I bought a couple journals but neither satisfied my needs. This is perfect for me. I can add entries as they happen and it’s actually fun!!
Froze lost all data
Tried for the second time same result after a week it froze and was unable to use it.
One suggestion
I absolutely love the app as it is and I’m glad it’s not cluttered with unnecessary features. The only thing that would make it perfect is adding two markdown features; *italics* and **bold** Otherwise a perfect notes app!
Loved it until...
i loved this app and used it literally every single day!!!! it was amazing but when i opened it yesterday 1/1/22, every single one of my entries was deleted and i know i didnt delete anything. is there anything i can do to fix this??

My fat fingers need autocorrect
I have to type in a different app and copy and paste it. Pleaaaase, enable autocorrect! I wish there were more colored themes. I paid for the premium, but there didn’t seem to be any new themes.
App doesn’t work!
Once I purchased the premium app without adds .. it froze up and I was unable to use it. I deleted the app and reinstalled it as the site says it will restore your purchase. But the app opened with adds again. So I have lost my premium purchase! Don’t buy this!

Good App
Would be even better if cloud back up was automatic. A bit cumbersome performing this manually each time. Especially when regularly using between different devices. Also would be good to have option to repeat events, weekly, fortnightly, monthly
Great except…!
Constantly freezing, when I try to look back at certain days it won’t let me select and then freezes. I’ve tried to back up to ICloud since it been a couple months and after 2 hours it’s still just loading nothing happens.
