Too Small
The images are suddenly too small for older customers to see after the most recent update. I will be removing the game. I reached out for support only to be emailed they no longer support individual issues. Oh well.
Creative game
I’ve been playing for years. And I’m happy to see all the new challenges each week. I love all the new styles. I have made friends (neighbors) from around the world. This game is the first thing I do every morning. Thank you for all the updates and listening to our suggestions! Here’s one more: can you change out the gifts we send to our neighbors?

DO NOT UPDATE! The new update took my gems!!! I thought of buying some but thank goodness I didn’t. Please give me my gems back that I’ve earned!

Several new features are awesome and much needed, thank you! The update also shrank the entire boutique AND the fonts though! Everything looks so much smaller and comments are extremely hard to read. Please consider adding the ability to turn off comments and possibly even block users in your next update. Nice job!
Love this game
I have played this game years ago love it and rediscovered it last year. I am playing it almost daily.
A lot of bugs
I don’t know what’s going on, but there is a lot of bugs. For example, when you enter to play the app, the screen switches and you can only see half the screen you purchased items obtain items put them on the rack and they automatically disappear so now you gotta spend more coins, and it gets to the point where you don’t wanna play
Years of playing
I’ve been playing this game since 2009 or earlier, not sure. What a nice way to meet people all around the world. It’s very soothing creating your boutique to a store to a mall. I just wish that we could acquire more things to our liking, for instance I would love the drive in but it’s not available. I would also like to extend my shop but it seems like I and others are at our limit…just a few tweaks here and there.

You have this game listed to start at 4yrs old? The long hours of waiting for clothes to be made for next to nothing coins is aggravating. You think a 4 yr old is waiting 2 days for an outfit? Lol

Fun game
I love playing this game, except for the missions, the clothing in the missions are for me, difficult to find, it would be easier if there was a button that takes you to the clothing that can take you to the mission clothing. Otherwise it’s a fun game
Ads Are Unbearable
Literally 3 different ads everytime i boot up the game. Its so unfortunate. The catalog is currently so boring. I wish the developers cared about the game. It was so fun when i was a kid. Im 25 now and it breaks my heart that its not as fun anymore. Then if youre not getting ads, then the app is very glitchy. Plss fix!
Excited for updates
I have played this game on and off for over 10 years. I want more updates like when rearranging the store we should be able to see the item on the tables and racks. Love that we can purchase in bunches now. Things are so expensive! The personal clothes, the hair, we almost never can get nice things without spending money on gems. No fair! The game is cool but definitely should have seen more updates from 2015 til now.
steals your time and money
you spend so much time saving the n you get missions asking for 500 coins if you dont do it in time you lost your coins… you store your items you lost all your time and coins on your items. you accidentally spend gems you cant get gems back. its always them asking more from you. all of their clothes is HOURS of your time then stuff sells out so you cant be fully stocked
Relaxing game
I enjoy this game more than Bakery Story and Restaurant Story which changed drastically and I don’t play anymore but this game haven’t changed much compared to the other 2 games I no longer play.

Good but some changes required
This game is pretty good - u get to design ur own boutique and interact with other ppl and their boutiques and stuff. Its fun. It’s my favorite mobile game. But here’s some improvements that I think would make the game even better: 1. STORAGE CATEGORY FOR OWNED CLOTHING So when you wanna change your avatar’s clothes, you have to scroll all the way down potentially to access your owned clothes. This is annoying! Can we please have a category called “closet” or something where all of our owned clothes are there so we dont have to scroll thru clothes we dont own? 2. Ability to change tiles instantly Ok so u can buy different floor tiles in the game and if u want to replace for example a yellow tile for a blue tile you have to either buy a blue tile or take one out of your storage to replace it, which is really annoying. Unlike your decorations, you cant just tap on the tile and move it. You have to take another tile and place it in that spot, and then take that tile you just put in the storage and put it somewhere else. 3.access to storage Ok so when you buy a decoration (like a table) theres an option to put it into storage. To take it out of the storage, u have to go to the same place where you bought it from, which can be annoying because you might have to scroll a lot of times to find your stored item. Instead, it would be better if there was a button to directly go to all your stored items as once, like a chest or a box icon 4. Bring back the discontinued crates!! 5. Pinned message on wall A lot of people, myself included, wished there was an option to pin a msg to our wall. Many of us have to recomment either a comment with our ids or maybe a comment that we wrote that says “pls dont comment on our walls” or something. It would be infinitely better to be able to pin any wall comment!! Ok thats all my suggestions! Thanks for reading.
Same frustrations 10+ years later
I played this game religiously back in 2012-2015 then on and off until 2020 and spent more than I care to admit buying gems. Decided to redownload because honestly it was an enjoyable game for the most part. I hate the ads that now pop up when you try to place your orders in the shop. Im already buying gems and now you’re trying to squeeze more out of players by making us watch ads? And on top of that the game purposely (yes, on purpose) makes it where there’s no “confirm purchase” of extra slots so if you accidentally click on “buy more slots”, or whatever it is, it automatically purchases it without asking for confirmation. That could be an easy fix for the developer but they don’t on purpose. There’s small gameplay mechanics that are still lacking after all these years (I.e no search bar when looking through the catalog). The biggest headache about this game is the inability to transfer your game from one device to another without jumping through hoops…have to dl a separate game just to create and login then I have to email storm8 and give them information about my shop (I.e how many gems your shop has). I’ve been replaying the game for a week and honestly, it feels scummy like I’m trying to be nickled and dimed.

I like the game, but the game allows too many commercials to interrupt me playing the game! The aids are truly ridiculous everytime I go to play the game there’s advertisements showing that I can’t exit out of ! Then in the app it’s task impossible to complete without buying diamonds

Glitch no new updates
I’ve played on and off since for about 12 years or so and it’s still the exact same. I feel the creator has not made any changes or improvements on this app it has major glitches and it’s ruined the love I have for the game. I hope soon they’ll add better features better ways to view the whole store get coins gems ect. All the reviews that didn’t have much good to say are all true and it sucks ! Please if you guys see these reviews please change up the app I love this game too much to just not see you guys take care of it and do better
Fashion Story,almost finished!
I have played fashion story for years I am at the max level for everything but I’m curious why 12 achievements are locked,can’t they be unlocked?They are there but they can’t be accessed,I would love to be able to completely finish it and it’s frustrating to see the last few I need but with no way to access them

i’ve been playing fashion story since i was a kid and somehow i always end up coming back to it. i’ve made friends through this game, gotten other people to start playing, and i genuinely have so many memories tied to it. it’s such a simple game but sooo addicting and i’ll probably never stop playing. i’m also sooo happy they recently updated it and are actually giving fashion story some attention again because i feel like so many of us have been waiting for that.and storm8 support has always been so good to me. every time i’ve reached out they’ve helped me right away, whether it was transferring my game to a new device, changing my storm8 id, or just answering random questions i’ve had.i will foreverrrrr rave about fashion story. literally one of those games i’ll always come back to. forever a fashion story girl 𑁍ࠬܓ❤︎
New Update Is HORRIBLE
Please whoever just issued this update to reverse it. It makes it near impossible to play. Especially when ordering one item and it revert to the begging of the ordering page and you have to scroll all the way just to get one item. And scrolling itself is so slow and painful. Please somebody fix this as I play this game daily and don’t want to stop!
Nostalgia favorite
Such a good game, just wish you added an update where the cashier is/looks like our personal avatar, would be so cool and would (in my opinion) add purpose/reason for buying items for my avatar, otherwise there really isnt a point besides looking cute when other online players visit my shop.
Don’t bother
This game is really fun at first, but you can’t progress unless you ‘invite friends/neighbours’ to play. None of my friends want to download this game so I am currently stuck and unable to expand my store because to do that you have to have more neighbours in the game, it makes no sense. I have also found multiple bugs in this game, I have to keep closing and reopening the app because it stops working.
Player since 2010. My love, hate relationship
Love the designs. what I do wish is that they wouldn’t remove the decor/design at the end of Goals. What I suggest is they at least give the options to purchase those special decors with gems. Another hassle is when you're decoration with items that are no longer available. Each time you select it, it brings you back to the first item. Eg; if you select a tile that is no longer for sale, but you have it in your stockpile, each time you select that tile (even if it is the 20th tile), it goes back to the first tile in the sequence. Try using those outdated tiles to redicrate and it's such a pain. Final issue is giving a “select all” button to make gifting your 100-plus neighbors easier. This is a fun, game which I s why I have been playing since 2010

Kkw game ended so I came back to this game that I use to play back in 2009. Love all the new items but wish there was an easier way to scroll the catalog. If we could have the catalog by timeframe that would help a lot.
Good game but…..
Takes too long to make a decent amount of money making it really slow to grow and expand your shop. Enjoyed playing it but it became very fustrating so deleted it unfortunately.
Needs Improvements
I have been playing this game since before 2014, and it lacks updates. Instead of giving us new outfits & goals every couple of weeks, I would love for TeamLava to focus on fixing the game instead of making it worse like the latest update. Ordering clothes takes ages now, if you don’t order any clothes while looking at the catalog it brings you to the beginning, the catalog scrolls SO SLOW, etc. Everything about the *main part* of the game, which is ordering clothes, is so slow. I would love for that to be sped up & the game to be updated with a search feature for the catalog & design tabs so we don’t have to scroll 100+ times to get to an item, and/or make it to where we could select the # of catalog slots and bulk order clothing items. Another great update would be the ability to keep a certain floor tile selected and have the ability to place multiple down back to back, like Bakery Story, instead of having to select the tiles every time. Please stop giving us new clothing items, and instead bring the game up-to-date in 2026. Thank you.

Disappointed
I’ve played this game for a few years when it was enjoyable. The gem icon used to work so you could earn 5 gems a day, now it doesn’t work at ll. I spent most of my day logging in and out of the game because it keeps freezing. I can’t order stuff as if freezes after I’ve selected what clothes I want to display, when I trying to put the clothes out on racks it would freeze. In the end I got so Pi sis ed off I deleted the game. ( NO RESPONSE FROM STORM8 ABOUT THESE ISSUES ). I’ve noticed there are no answers to peoples reviews on here so I’m not expecting a response. 🤬
Great memories back, but needs some improvements too.
Glad to see my childhood game is still available 🙌 It brings back so many memories! As feedback, I think there should be some improvements made to make the game more reliable and accessible for players. For example, adding better options for saving progress, logging in and out of accounts, and allowing players to delete or manage their accounts would make the experience much easier. These features would help players feel more secure and enjoy the game even more.

Low rating due to constant and consistent inability to receive daily gems. The message is “please try again later”. I do and still, every time, the same message comes up - every time!!!!!! Please sort it out.

I love this game I decided to play again after like 10 years or so and nothing has changed. I’d like to see a filter in the clothing catalog, better rewards for the difficult quests, maybe more interactions with neighbors…

You are ignored when needing help
I don’t recommend this game. Don’t buy gems! I spent quite a lot of money on gems and was keeping them for any new display items that come out. And then mysteriously over 3 days every time I logged on gems were missing! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve sent numerous emails to the support team asking them to check if my account has been hacked or there’s a glitch. All I get back is an automatic response saying they can’t help with missing gems. This isn’t fair to players if you’ve spent money on the game. There should be a warning on this game that if you buy gems they may disappear and you won’t get them back. But of course there’s no warning because they’ll happily take your money!!! The game is very enjoyable but don’t buy gems!!!!!!
great for the nostalgia
i downloaded this game bc i used to play it when i was younger and loved it. my experience was great at first, but they don't update this game or offer individualized support on it anymore. i love this game for the general objective - re-stock, decorate, support neighboring boutiques - it's great! i personally enjoyed focusing more on my store aesthetics rather than completing missions. however, it was annoying that i couldn't search items in the catalog, and individual parts of an outfit sometimes had a different name from the outfit itself, so it was hard for me to remember which top/bottoms/shoes/etc. belonged to which outfit. the catalog was also glitchy in general, sending you back to the beginning of a category if you tap on an outfit and press back to return to the category you're in (casual/formal/nightlife/runway). i ultimately uninstalled the game because all of my racks and counters suddenly cleared when i returned to my boutique after gifting and liking items at my neighbors' boutiques. they were all full with 3000+ units each. at that point i didn't feel like putting in the time to restock them all. i still play bakery & restaurant story (the originals, not the 2nd ones) but sadly this one's not for me anymore.
Decent game but some very annoying issues
It’s a fun game to play when it functions properly, but unfortunately it doesn’t for me. This game is supposed to sell my clothes when I’m not using the app as well, but when I load into the game it says I’m offline (even when my internet is working perfectly fine) and it doesn’t even sell my clothes properly, so the only time I can sell stuff is when I have the app open, and that’s really inconvenient. Furthermore, I tried to contact the support service, but they don’t even respond to issues with fashion story. Imo, don’t download this game bc if you have issues, no one is gonna be there to help 🤷♂️
Been a fan for YEARS
Love this game. Grew up playing this and always loved customizing my shop anyway I want, and the clothes option are really cute. The only thing I wish would improve is the catalog when swiping through to find certain items. Or it’s organized by time duration and have a favorite folder. When I get gifts from others and I’m adding it, the screen is darker as if I’m in a menu but I’m still allowed to add items to be store. I wish some of the items weren’t so high in gems (have to pay) for certain tables. After awhile of watching ads that option no longer shows up

Fun but needs improvement
Have been playing on and off for a long time and love the styles, but I wish it the order catalog was easier to navigate. It worked in the beginning but with so many outfits having been added it’s so time consuming to have to tap through all of them to find something specific. The categories don’t make a lot of sense as you can scroll through Casual looking for what would be a casual outfit, only to find that it isn’t labelled as casual, nor is it in any of the other categories. I would suggest either a search mechanic, or a more consistent categorisation system that includes all the new looks. I would love to keep playing, but tedious searching for outfits is the reason i have deleted in the past. Also give us more hairstyles and makeup that costs coins not gems please!!
