Great Idea
I’ve been a member for over 4 years and so far have collected £2000 plus while searching for deals, for a simple £10 a year you get some amazing cash back and in a very few cases the retailer has pulled out but Topcash fights your corner. Simple yet great idea if you want to earn extra.
Rubbish!
Since the last update, you can’t see how much money you have built up, transfer it or buy any gift cards. That whole section just no longer works and when you try to click on it it makes the whole app freeze . The only way of seeing a different page is by switching your phone off and on again

It’s a shame when you are in a store that you cannot earn Cashback on purchases there and then
Good for small purchases
Great for cash back on small purchases (food delivery, greeting cards,etc). Larger purchases like motor insurance or car hire always seem to be unpayable. Submit a claim but nothing seems to happen after that. Good for small purchases but frustrating for larger ones.
New format a step backwards
New format is confusing. Cashback already paid out (eg to wallet) should be a different format (ie not green). Sorting by recent updates doesn't change the order.

Points taking over a year
Used to be good but I am still waiting for points from holiday over a year ago raised several tickets
Do not book IHG hotels through this app
I have booked four different hotels with IHG via the TopCashback app to which none of them have registered and I have received no money back. I have contacted customer services on several occasions and had no response regarding this.
App issues
So I had an issue where there is a popup and you can’t see the button if you have the font large on iPhone. I’ve changed it back but not great when you have poor eyesight.

Love this.. if you’re struggling with money this year and who isn’t this is excellent.. every one has to upgrade every 12-18-24 months so use this site and get cash back it’s a no brainer. Gas and electricity through the roof then change using this app and earn out of it. Love it

Free cash
It doesn't matter how much the cashback- it all adds up ( eventually) and then you can transfer into either your bank or to a specific place eg Amazon & treat yourself. Wish the extra % given was higher though..
Lost cash back
Constantly having to put in tickets for cash back that I haven’t received. I stopped using this app months ago because of it
Unreliable app. Some retailers never ever track
I’ve probably spent over £1,000 at Boots this year, and placed over 20 orders in the past six months. Always via Topcashback but not a single one has tracked. Tedious trying to make a claim when the app comes up with an error message. Just as tedious trying to contact customer service.

Missing cash all the time and nothing is ever done about it. Will stop using soon

Lots of items do not track and even sending request for tracking doesn’t work ! It’s now taken five months for one item to get into my account and I still can’t cash it out not worth the hassle I would say.

I find myself submitting claims manually as the automated cashback doesn’t seem to work that well

Who doesn’t love a little treat? Receiving cash back just for shopping through the app is a no brainier.
Too Many Merchants Not Paying Out
Had so big cash backs declined recently. Nothing I’m doing wrong, been using the app for many years. Top Cash Back don’t follow up on complaints and just ignore you. Really disappointing looks like they are going down hill like Quidco did.

Doesn’t do partial refunds
Doesn’t take partial refunds into consideration - so if you have pending cashback and get a partial refund (for example a clothing order)… the whole cashback amount will get declined, rather than an updated reduced cashback. So many times, it doesn’t track either. Awful app/company.
Cash back sometimes not rewarded
Fantastic rewards but sometimes cash back isn’t rewarded and there is no explanation as to why. Would be great to have this explained without having to raise a dispute

Can’t Access the App
The app not working, just keeps saying Can’t access the homepage , was working ok until 2 weeks ago ??????
Not always great
Sometimes disappointing when cashback is not honoured. There are a few companies that are repeat offenders for not paying but Topcashback doesn’t seem to do anything.

Yes, in these challenging times I find top cash a great Aid. I will pass on one tip occasionally AliExpress as rates as high as 25% through cashback a fantastic saving ,good luck be happy.🤭
Regular no pay outs
So many not tracked and have to submit a claim. When complete the claim the shop and time of purchase is in the drop down box but often not paid out. Had a good few not payed out and never just pennies. I do every purchase the same way. Thanks
