Expiry date
I couldn’t find the expiry date on my card which was disappointing as I had to use my normal funds when booking my holiday
Lost a star
Would be good not to pay to cash out to bank account. Other cash back apps enable this
Cashback rates dropping
Started in 2024/25 and found it great with regular 5% rates at Asda, Farmfood’s etc even a few 10% rates, since JDTV started percentages have changed and dropped I now go to Top cash back who offer more cash back regularly at Asda and farm foods etc.
The explanation stopped my account

Fast
I’ve had mixed feelings over this app all the way through but am still using it because for the most part it works. The good parts obviously are having so much variety and some cards now being able to be added to apple wallet then updating themselves with balance is great. The cash back builds fairly quick especially if you are shopping regularly and it’s available much faster than older cash back apps. However sometimes the app crashes when at the till (which is where I normally get them because I then know how much I want) meaning I have to pay for my shopping after paying for a gift card so it’s better to have them stored and screen shot them just in case before you head out. The bonus for introducing a friend only comes when they cash out so some of my friends are building up good amounts but I have no bonus as they have not cashed anything out and most annoying is the points they say you will get when you get the gift card are very different to what they give you. My most recent one I noticed was buying a £46 Tesco card where it said you will get 138 points but when it was done it only gave me 92 points, it’s only 44 points but when you are using this because you know every penny counts losing 44 pennies adds up so I’d rather they were honest at the start when you are buying and say you are getting 92 points.
Swindlers
The cash back rates are lower than on other sites. The app never seems to work when cashing out and then when I can they now charge an admin fee!
Transaction fee
There is a small transaction fee at cash out and it says it takes up to 2 days. Also what I found is that at purchase the number of points it shows is slightly more than what you actually get after completion.
Great app works well
I mainly use this to get Costa Coffee gift vouchers (lots of other retailers also available) as I go there daily. So far I have cashed in 2 x £20 on their Cashback scheme and it all appears to work great.

Mostly good
I have used this app for years and it’s my go to before purchasing anything. But I’ve had issues recently with withdrawing the cash back to my bank, even when the bank details are correct it says otherwise and won’t send the money. Feels like they’re trying to stop you doing this and instead use the money earned on the competitions or to buy another gift card
Needs clearer information
This is a great app if you would be spending money in the shops anyway but it’s very difficult to keep track of balances as not all gift cards provide live balances and you have to keep separate track. Has potential to be fabulous but not there yet.

Started using after see on Facebook, dubious at first as in the past lost out on voucher in a draw put away and couldn’t find them

Cannot even sign in as QR code sent points at itself.
App freezes and I can’t get to my gift cards
It is a good concept and when it works it’s great, however this is the second time in the last couple of months where I’ve gone shopping and can’t access my gift cards because the app freezes when I go into the wallet. Luckily I have money in my current account so can pay but what if I didn’t?! So the shine is starting to fade for me I’m afraid.

Terrible app
Can’t even sign up, it just takes you to a screen with a QR code and you can’t do anything from there. Complete waste of time.

Great app
I use this all the time when I go shopping. The money I accrue in my cash back account is a handy savings towards Christmas shopping. A savings that doesn’t come out of my own pocket.
Unhappy
This is such a frustrating site! Takes your money immediately yet takes up to two days to cash out, and charges you as well , also couldn’t cash out over new year the excuse was staff holidays, it is an electronic app… I will be using another cash-back app in future
Works for me
It’s surprising how quickly your ‘cash back’ balance grows, just with regular grocery shopping. Add in the occasional larger purchase, and you’ve soon accrued enough to spend on something significant. Personally I don’t dabble with the prizes, as I prefer the guaranteed cash rebate; but if you want the fun of a little flutter, go for it. It’s a shame they can’t offer Amazon gift cards at a discount; but that’s the case with all of JD’s competitors. Overall, modest amounts of free money. What’s not to like?
Not able to sign up or sign in after installation
I’ve been trying to sign up first after installing but getting error so I signed up via browser and tried to sign in via the app. Still getting the error. I’m using iPhone 15 and on the latest iOS version, can you please fix this issue?

It’s disappointing there isn’t cash back as I shop. I hate having to buy gift cards with all these apps. I prefer just shopping and connecting my bank account and getting the cash back as I shop! Please someone bring out an app where this is the case :(!
