Sería genial si se pudiera cambiar el idioma ya que aún sigo aprendiendo inglés. Es un poco complicado cuando no es tu idioma nativo
Document verification doesn’t work
It’s sad that this day and age AA cannot get its software act together and make the document verification process work. Disappointed.
Store Tentative Flight Plans
It would be helpful if a tentative flight plan could be stored, along with preferred seating, for 10-15 minutes while customers checked to see if the cost of purchased seats increased the price of a Main ticket to that similar to a Main-Plus ticket. Either store the tentative flight plan briefly or add the feature of comparing the upgraded Main price to the other options offered initially but can’t be referenced without backing out and loosing the booking information you just created.
Not phone friendly
Got all the way to the end where you type in the passenger information but the drop down for Home Country. It just said “select” but there were no countries listed. So frustrated that I abandoned the phone and entered everything on my laptop

First time Last time
This was my first time using American Airlines and the last time I will ever use them. We were delayed and canceled multiple times causing us to lose our first day of vacation. They lied about the reason and were caught lying and still wouldn’t own up to their errors. This is the worst airline I have ever flown on by far. So much ghat I have thousands of miles that I will never use. Need to do better all around.

I like that you have an app. My eyes are older. I have a very hard time following along with so many ads.
Air ball
I am bald and they told me I need hair to be fly. Food was 8/10 tho so that helped. Bathroom was covered wall to wall in dirty diapers and tampons. Who runs this gizmo?
Non American credit cards
This is a travel app for international travellers & travel. The app needs to allow for international credit card payments instead of forcing me to the website to pay for baggage, etc.

Boarding passes
I didn’t have the chance to get the boarding passes for my connection flight to my destination tomorrow
App restarts
If the app would stop resetting to the main page while trying to buy tickets just because I switched to a different app for a second that would be great.
Very Basic, not at all for our times
Would expect much more from American. Very bad app. Forces you to keep your national currency. Basic interaction. Feels like Disneyworld of the 90 ties technology?

Not possible to pay with Apply pay if you have an international account.

Why does this app timeout after five seconds when you flip apps
Fix the setting please, booking is a miserable experience
Easy to use
Love the ease of use and realtime updates. Also love how easy it is to track my bags. Only reason I didn’t give 5 is sometimes the baggage claim location is incorrect.
Update not for all iPhones
Any iPhone 8 ot earlier cannot now use app. Maybe American Airlines has shares in Apple
Very glitchy!
Very poor app. Fails is a few areas. Just use the website. Wasted sooo much time trying to upload details for 3 boarding passes/ advance checkin. Would take the 3rd one after multiple attempts by 3 of us and a lot of swearing and my daughter almost threw her phone across the room. Then she did everything on the website in 5 minutes. App also wouldn’t show what entertainment device was on the plane. Even though it said it was showing this. Worst airline app I’ve used

Customers would thank AA for allowing you to set up a profile for your spouse so you don’t have to enter the information repeatedly when purchasing flights.
Cannot use Canadian Credit Card
I’m flying out of a Canadian airport but I can’t use a Canadian billing address because it only accepts a pick list of US states and Zip code. Lost revenue.

Great app to use however, most times I can’t book flights on here and have to use the website.

Seat height
He seat height is so low; top of seat came to my shoulder blades. I’m 6’3, which isn’t an unusual height. No hope of comfort or any sleep. Got to fly home on American but never again.

Unable to use
Attempt at logging in results in a page titled “login.aa.com” but the page is otherwise blank and no login is possible. The app is useless in my hands
AA app
Good app, but some glitches to be fixed: selecting upgrades offered that cannot be completed and you end up having to call the desk. Would also be good to have loyalty miles earned info. They even pulled that data from their website, which is a shame. Makes you wonder why, and feels a bit odd to conceal something so basic/straightforward. Hopefully, those features will be part of future updates.

Good Service, Poor Changes
Good overall service by staff. Effective at rescheduling my flight after a maintenance delay but disappointed by default booked on flight 6 hrs later when after pointing out was flight one hour later they easily put me on earlier flight. Should have been automatic

Great Airline
I’ve always found American Airlines to be a great airline. But when I went to check in, I found out I wasn’t able to check my bags or by the priority seating because the app would not allow me to use my Canadian credit card to pay for it. I tried multiple times but every time I got down to the address where you had to add the province, it would not allow me to add a Canadian province. It would only give me options to add an American state. I can’t tell you how frustrating this was because when I went to the gate and had to pay for my bags and I asked also by the prior seating they would not allow me to buy the prior seating instead, it was none of us available at the check-in. I travel a lot for work and as I said, I always have found American Airlines to be a great airline and great service but this one quirk in your app is very frustrating and I hope someone can fix that. If you do get a chance to fix it, please let me. Cheers tripper 1960
Won’t let me add address where I’m staying
I see other reviewers are having this issue where the app can’t take addresses for where you’re staying. Really annoying, now I have to wait in line to check in at the airport. Unrelated, but I also frequently have problems logging in to the website on desktop too.
Clunky logic
App has issues we have 4 of the same phones all have the same iOS version and the movies wont play unless you played the trailer first (or at least started the trailer then selected the movie ) was not an issue on older phones.

This app would be better if it allowed One World alliance members use their membership numbers, not everyone who flys AA wants to join the AA program...
