Your pricing needs to be competitive like it used to to be. Southwest was my go to for all flights. Now I’m searching others because your prices are horrible.
Correction
Had to call and correct one passenger’s name to reflect his id. 1 1/2 hours later, very frustrated by process and somewhat rude associate, the process to correct a name shouldn’t result in new process, new charges, then refunded original charges to end up with the same confirmation number, same flights and same seats!

Checked in exact time when available and we get last boarding and connecting flight we are not sitting together - oh but I can pay EXTRA to change it - and the wait to know why they’re losing customers!!!!’

Had to pay for bags because A List takes over 10 days to update to account. Southwest is not what it used to be.

Duration of Flights is Hidden
Hey! It'd be a lot easier to plan for meals and such if I could see the (estimated) flight duration, per leg, everywhere in the app -- esp during confirmation and on boarding passes. Time zones make this difficult to estimate in my head when looking at the departure and arrival times.
Very difficult to add your reservation to your app
I’ve been trying for over 30 min to add my reservation in the app and every time I have to retrieve it using my booking number and name and last name. It’s a bug that needs to be fixed.
New methods!
My husband and I like the new arranged seating- we’ve had better seats than ever before- so easy! Of course we enjoy the same great service by flight attendants! Thanks- keep up the great work! God bless you all- He loves you! (See John 3:16-17 in the Bible!)
Paid bag
Paid for bag, got email confirmation, then app gave error messages…not clear at all if bag is fine or not, making me think I need to get to airport even earlier
App is fine, experience behind the app is terrible.
Southwest used to be an enjoyable experience (as much as flying could be). Now computers herd everyone into tight seating on half empty flights and everything is turned for profit and upsell Not going to make Southwest my preferred airline moving forward.

This busted app never works and constantly gives errors when I need it during travel.
Confused
I don’t understand why you still have boarding groups based on check in when we have a seat, especially when I paid to choose my seat. Why not just do it by row numbers?

This app cannot do basic things - like pulling up your booked trips, pulling up the seat chart. Times out after spinning awhile, every time

Site is clunky
The app does not work well with my phone and doesn’t send me updates. I had a flight canceled - my frequent flyer number keeps disconnecting from my flights and it rarely has my upcoming flights in chronological order. I cannot see how much money you owe me for canceling my flight and then I rebooked and was charged a premium for the same seat, but didn’t receive a credit.

As an international traveller do miss southwest free checkin baggage! That did set you apart from other airlines!
Time consuming system
You have to renter passwords just to PAY for your luggage. You also have to re-checkin if you change your seat. These things should just be automatic if you are in the app. Very time consuming.

One of the key buttons (Search Flights) is not fully visible and easy to press on the iPhone as it doesn't fit onto the screen.
Make sure you pack clothes in your hand luggage
Waited 3 days for our bags to arrive in Jamaica. No update or communication from Southwest. I had AirTags in my suit case to see that they were left behind in fort Lauderdale. Even when they arrived in Jamaica the ground staff told me they weren’t expected for another 2 hours. Bags sitting in airport for 2 hours and still haven’t been transported to our hotel. Worst experience ever, rude staff with no empathy.
Trips don’t load
App is ok but the biggest problem is when someone else books your trip, say another family member, it doesn’t automatically put your trip on the app

TSA Touchless
I travel weekly and re-submit my touchless information every week and now for two months straight have not had TSA Touchless. Either support the feature or cancel altogether!!!!

I have to say, the Southwest Airlines app is one of the best airline apps I have used. It is simple, easy to navigate, and makes managing my trips incredibly convenient. Checking in, viewing boarding passes, checking flight status, managing reservations, and keeping up with travel details can all be done quickly without any hassle. I especially appreciate how straightforward the app is when I am traveling. Everything I need is right there, and I do not have to dig through multiple screens to find important information. Southwest has done a great job making the entire travel experience easier through the app. It is reliable, user-friendly, and genuinely makes traveling less stressful. Great job, Southwest!
Poor customer support
Hard to believe that my wife and I could not get seating together. I’m so done with this carrier.
SW saved my bacon again.
My recent trip to New Orleans found me a little tardy arriving at the airport. The SW Skycap couldn’t put my luggage through so I went inside to the desk. They put a late check in label on my checked bag. Of course it showed up on final arrival even after a plane change. Solid #2 was when Norwegian cruise lines arrived 2 hours late in port, threatening my outbound flight. Norwegian kept me on the boat for 2 extra hours for no reason, so now I had to get to the airport 25 minutes away by taxi. Arriving at the SW gate I thought my plane was gone, missed my flight, had to stay overnight & find & buy another flight. Instead, my SW flight had been delayed, I waited an hour or so & everything worked out. SouthWest Airlines us my #1 choice for air travel. They get it done!
Mobile Boarding Pass
Why am I not getting an option to download our boarding passes on my mobile when I checked-in using the app?
Can’t log in easily or enter non-US credit card
As the title says. Its hard to use, doesn’t fit neatly onto Iphone 13 screen; web app always hard to log into. Need to practice from a non-US phone.

What I appreciate most about flying SW airlines is the kindness and humor of their stewards and hostesses. They make the affronts of modern day travel and sometimes cranky passengers easier to take. They are also very observant and helpful. I especially love it when they pass out Oreos.
Think about the customers
The app is always down. Bring back the no expiration travel credit. I’ve missed 2 flights because flights were delayed by 2 hours and then moved back to original time and the app/options is not user friendly. Passengers are stressed/running late and driving, i couldnt change my flight and the app was down. I almost got into a car accident from poor organization of southwest. Think about the customer. The new boarding policy is made by idiots. Load the back of the plane first. Now everyone luggage is everywhere causing a traffic jam getting off every flight. I fly 2x/week and its gone downhill. Please improve organization, communication, credits, cancellations etc. Seems like uneducated employees that never travel is running this show

The SouthWest app seems to be available only in English. Tourists speaking other languages have difficulty using the app. It is easy to program the app in popular languages but your staff has not done this yet. For this reason I can only give 3 stars.
