Leider speichert die App die eingestellte Geschwindigkeit der Sprecher nicht mehr. Selbst dein Timer kann nachdem einmal abgelaufen nicht wieder neu gestartet werden. Es muss dann die Geschwindigkeit und der Timer neu eingestellt werden. Das war mir komfortabel. Leider dreht man sich im Support zu finden im Kreis. Mn landet nach dem suchen wieder m Anfang. Scheint bis auf die FAQ keinen Kontakt zu geben.
Glad I persevered
A big fan of Celia Ahern’s books, I started this one with great expectations. It took a very long time to get into it though, but glad I persevered to the end.

Not Worth Your Money
Subscribed to premium for £9.99 a month. In this you get 1 credit per month to buy 1 book. If you intend to listen to the latest, popular or well known titles you will need to buy more credits. That is an additional £9.99 per 1 credit. You can listen to other content “included” in your subscription tier, but in the genre I was interested in there were just a couple of extra titles to listen to; “included” content is a little misleading. If you like fiction, you might be ok. Non-fiction people, walk away! The best way to describe it is like a dumbed down version of Spotify with a books add on, and no music. 🤷♀️ Podcasts are more accessible in other platforms. In-app “offers” to buy credits, more prominent than finding content. The user interface is awful to use. To search for “included” titles in your genre or sub-genre is clunky. They have clearly made it difficult so that content is hard to find so you are pushed to the paid titles.

Das Buch und die Idee ist zielführend. Die Stimme und Ausführung ist mangelhaft und erinnert an KI generierten Inhalt. Besonders viel Spass machen Inhalt und Lerneffekt nicht sehr. Lerninhalte können nicht parallel abgerufen werden. Vermutlich würde ich es nicht noch einmal kaufen.

Mon dernier livre
Désolé de vous dire que ce choix m’a été suggéré un peu de votre part, selon certains critères de base. Je ne connais pas cette dame, mais elle a un sérieux problème et elle devrait faire autre chose dans sa vie selon moi. Qui suis-je pour critiquer de cette façon, un simple lecteur qui apprend votre plate-forme? Aime-toi et la vie t’aidera. Ce titre n’est pas représentatif ou possiblement pour 7.5 % de ce qui est écrit dans le livre et aussi pour les femmes qui ont eu de nombreux problèmes d’enfance, ce n’est que du négatif qui vient d’une personne qui a beaucoup de visions noire selon moi. Je n’ai pas fait de recherche d’où provient cet auteur, mais c’est vraiment triste tout ce qu’elle dit et incroyable, car elle met tellement d’emphase sur la tristesse. Enfin je ne connais pas votre organisation, mais je fais seulement vous souligner mon commentaire de néophyte.
Works fine mostly.
Recently they made changes that altered how the timer works. Or in this case doesn’t work. Half the time it is frozen and won’t work. I have to restart the app before it will work.
Glitchy
Audible has been super glitchy and and keeps doing playback errors ever since the most recent iOS update. I’ve googled and multiple users seem to be having the same issue.

I absolutely loved this book. Packed with heart, brimming with humour, beautifully plotted. I enjoyed following Mabel on her rollercoaster of a journey and loved her, young and old. This is a piece of magic as far as I’m concerned and everything was perfect. Massive congratulations. A work of art. In awe xxx
Transformative
Audible has made such a difference to my time spent walking, driving, cleaning, or just relaxing and listening. Particularly boring tasks are transformed by becoming absorbed in a novel or podcast. It is lovely being read to and I have been able to access a wide variety of titles of which I simply wouldn’t have time to read all. Highly recommended
(Not so) free monthly trial
It is advertised as “free month trial subscritpion” but I still was billed 1.65 CAD on my account. Careful what you say yes to.
Loved her perspective
What a great story about the highs and lows of running in motherhood. Even though she is a pro, much of what she said is something we can all relate too.
Timer Update sucks
Seit dem jetzigen Update brauche ich viel mehr Schritte, um einen sleep Timer zu verlängern. Warum verschlechtert man ein Feature, welches bis dato gut funktioniert hat???
Still working out how I feel but I’m annoyed and intrigued
I wanted more for so much of the first half and then it felt like the end just seems to go to fast and no answer certain questions - I wanted to know what actually happened ? Like how was her mum compliant, Ronan leave and Leo just choose to get better - the abuse was powerful how he chipped at her but at times I wondered if she also had underlining vunerablitied cause it seemed un realistic but also did anyone really notice - like too many people knew of who Leo was in real life arghh but I’m provoked so I also know this is a good sign 😅🫠
What an outstanding book
My 17 year old daughter told me repeatedly that I would love this book and she wasn’t wrong! It’s had me gripped from start to finish and in tears so many times. Definitely one of the best books I’ve ever read and one I will read again without a shadow of a doubt. Highly recommended!

The Titanic, Evelyn story
Lisa Wilkonson has copied her husband Peter‘s writing style unsuccessfully. It is way too detailed and too slow. It is a pity she has narrated the book herself. If she had got an actress to narrate the story, it would’ve been a lot easier to listen to with various accents and voices done well.

I LOVED Sally Diamond and Skin Deep but couldn’t get into this book. Felt there was no story and couldn’t get into the characters. The ending was ok but wouldn’t recommend! I will try some of the authors books.

Boring narration
Very monotonous delivery - the story was fine but I had to give up as the narration was so dull. I’ll read it instead.
Useful, but needs improvement
I very much enjoy Audible and find it incredibly useful to listen to books while doing things around the house/travelling, etc. One thing I’ve found irritating though is that the Previews (specifically for non-fiction books) only take the first 5 minutes of the book into account which is consistently the Preface; this doesn’t give you much of an idea on what the book is about or give you a general feel for the book. Suggested improvement for any Audible Team Member reading this would be to use the Introduction over the Preface as this, from my personal perspective, would generate more interest and encourage me to purchase more books.

I can’t say what the book was like. I could not get past the first sentence due to the disturbing narration.
Addicted, with a caveat
I love audible, and listen for hours every day - on the journey to work, at night in bed, whilst walking the dog, when cooking etc etc. The free credit is great, apart from when I pick a lemon by mistake, and there are some real lemons on audible. When I get it right though, it’s mesmerising. (The Wolf Hall trilogy for example.) My gripe is the app. It’s a mess, and can be very confusing when navigating my library. Surely, given the revenue that is generated a smarter, more polished app should be a no brainer.

Amazon changes for the worst
How bout instead of changing for useless you change to something useful for once. Homepage is garbage now cause you want to push more sales. Clean it up. Lists has stupid categories so you need to scroll to get to your categories. Maybe add a list of counters how many times i listened to each book? That would be useful but why bother right?
Skip time
In-app player skip time does not mirror device player skip time. There was no issue with this until a few weeks ago. I will also still advocate that it’d be nice to have a dated listening timeline history. This way listeners can keep track of when they started and finished each book they’ve listened to.

I’m vacationing out of my country, Canada. In the past I had no issues with using the App and accessing my library of downloaded books. I always kept the data off on the app and was able to still access my books. Whatever audible decided to do this summer, I can’t access my account on the app. It tries sending a code to my number via SMS and that doesn’t work with my eSIM, although WhatsApp does work. I’m trying to get them to send a code via my email, it’s hit and miss. In short, everyday I am going through a whole process and just can’t reach the App. I have to listen to my books on the Amazon site which is unsatisfactory because it doesn’t have a timer for example. Very annoying.
Not easy
Very hard to cancel the subscription, or seemingly impossible. It’s nice to listen to audio books, but at what price ?

Awful business model. Just one book per month and if you don’t get around to finishing it it just expires and Amazon keeps your money for nothing in return. Not wasting money on this again
Addictive
While I am mostly happy with audible and I absolutely do love listening to the stories and there are so many choices, I do wish that the app had its own built in equalizer to adjust the sound quality, like I can if I listen on my computer, but unfortunately apple does not let you do that! So I wish that audible could instead out in there own version to fix the bad treble or rough recording so I can get a clearer listening experience please and thank you
Buggy.
Used to work perfectly. Then some audiobooks started having problems. Playback problems. When this happens, you have to remove them and re download them and do other debugging steps. Very very very annoying!! On top of that, when a book has issues, they may or may not take it back. If you are on a basic plan, you may get stuck with a book that has technical issues. Or maybe it’s the app that has the issues, for some books? Who knows. Either way, there are issues with this app, and with the subscription plans.
Widget doesn’t works
Lock screen wedget doesn’t works, can’t not play directly by press play icon in lockscreen widget, you need to unlock the phone, click on it, open audible app in order to play audio, it makes the widget useless, especially when you are driving or doing sth else. Hope fix soon

Hate the new payment system
As with all things, audible has been hit with with the rubbish stick. Now having no option to bulk by credits is a rip off and the monthly cost has gone up. I wish they didn’t own the monopoly on audible books otherwise I would be cancelling

Neu ist, dass man gekaufte Titel nicht mehr nach Ablauf des Abos weiter hören kann. Vielleicht wird es Zeit wieder zu den klassischen CDs zurückzukehren. Die nimmt mir zumindest niemand aus dem Schrank wenn ich die gekauft habe. Wieso sollte man dann bei Audible bleiben?
Clunky app with scant detail in the catalogue
The app is a poorly designed web app, not an iOS-native product, and no effort has been made to deal with the performance problems that result from this decision. Every time you tap in the catalogue, it’s excruciatingly slow to open the book page, making it impractical to decide what to buy. Furthermore, book pages don’t show chapter lists. Your entire decision must rest on the publisher’s text, which emphasise glowing tributes and often omit the substance.
