Easy, Seamless
I downloaded this right before my trip to Excalibur Las Vegas. Received text alerts when my room was ready, the app gave me my room number before I arrived and getting my room keys at the kiosk by scanning the in-app QR code was super easy and convenient. I enjoyed being able to buy tickets for attractions in app as well. Lots of information on resort amenities, dining options, reservations etc. truly flawless experience.

For some reason, after the update of this app I can’t log in. Went to the website and can’t log in there either. Do better

Update required
App worked well in the past, but now I can’t book any rooms. The selection process works, but when it comes to payment, the deposit is requested from the credit card (and approved), but the app shows an error that the credit card details aren’t correct. Furthermore it takes decades to retrieve details of bookings already made.

Gives you a digital key but not room number
App is completely pointless for checking in without queuing at the front desk as it doesn’t show the room number! I spend ages putting my ID into the app and all for nothing.

Slow
This app is trash. Seeing a long splash screen every time I want to use my digital key is abrasive. Logouts constantly. When I open your access app, I want my room key instantly. This app is indicative of the quality of your hotel, which is also trash. Update- was ready to write the exact same review, turned out I got it right the first time.

Too difficult!
Trying to find answers about Freeplay is next to impossible with one person spinning you to the next person. I have Freeplay that appears and disappears on the same week, sometimes the same day! I really like MGM properties and go out of my way to give them my business. But the Rewards system is terrible to use! In person, a Rewards Desk will also do the same spin.
Unable to use virtual check in
The app would not recognize my other country drivers license, so I couldn’t use the app to check in and skip the line up. But aren’t a lot of your guests from other countries? No line ups at the moment, so no big deal this time. Hope maybe next time it will work. Providing information on covid testing for travel would be appreciated as well.
This App Works Wonderfully
I am a frequent Vegas visitor and a member of all the loyalty programs across the strip. MGM gives me room offers that include free play and resort credit, that is a big plus, and usually influences my decision to stay at their properties. Sometimes the offer of free play and resort credit cancel out the resort fees and it’s like a full comp with the chance to win more. I like that I can “check in” 48 hours prior to arrival. This makes it so when I do arrive I have a good chance of being able to check in without waiting in line and make my own digital keys or use my phone as my key. When I book a trip to one of their properties I get a challenge goal during that trip that boosts my tier level or reward credits, I’ve done that successfully several times. Lastly, a benefit of this app shows me how my rewards points were accrued. I see the type of spend, and the points earned. No other loyalty program provides this data.

Cannot complete purchase
I want to book shows, but once I need to complete the purchase bf time runs out, I couldn’t find anywhere to put my cc info and cannot complete the purchase either on app or on the website. This is super annoying.
This unfortunately will be my last time. better options available
Over 90 mins line up to check in at 1 am on a Friday. Room I booked was not available. Ended up in nicer room but considerable walk to the strip entrance. Over billed but corrected after having to review with staff. Poker room staff were great.

Issues
The app wasn’t allowing me to book a room, just giving me an error. So I deleted it and redownloaded it and now it won’t even let me sign in?????
Kinda useless if you want to view itinerary details due to issue.
When I click on “view itinerary” then click “view details” I get a screen that says, “something went wrong” then a button “try again” it pretends to load but the same message keeps popping up. It’s been like this since I downloaded the app. Everything else seems to work well, but not this, which is what I mainly downloaded it for. If this is fixed before my trip, I’ll update the rating on this. Troubleshooting: deleted app, downloaded it, same issue. Phone is up to date. Also, the app support is misleading since there is no app support to report this. I would have emailed tech support directly. Thanks in advance team!

Does not work
Needs some real work
The app is clunky. If I’m in an active stay at the hotel in NJ and it’s showing in the app, why would you default to the dinning options in Vegas every time? It’s super annoying. Also, be a real developer and build out resort maps and stop linking to PDFs you house on blob servers. What year is this?
User Friendly
This app is very user friendly and it is very convenient to be able to check in through here and receive a digital key.

I went through the lengthy authentication and identification process and shared a LOT of personal information so that I could check in and avoid the line (as advertised) . Im still waiting for my digital key.

Clicking on my reservation is met with something went wrong. Please try again repeatedly.
As the title says, this has been going on for weeks with no fix in sight. I cannot get details on my reservation unless I go to trips and click under there. On the main page it just errors out and clicking try again does absolutely nothing to fix it. “We’re sorry, something went wrong on our end. Please try again.” Annoying.

App rarely works for check in
This app rarely works for mobile check in at Mandalay Bay. It shows mobile check in available initially. The actual check in never works, which asks to call the front desk.
Not user friendly
Multiple tries to download ID not successful. Ultimately successful, then check in complete yet no virtual key for me and guest? Perhaps still working out bugs with the app? Idea is great, execution not so much
