Excellent Game
Fun, free game that’s been a favorite of mine for many years. Love the ability to play offline with no ads.
Several ads that do not let you close
There are several ads that you can not close, as example one about dog bone/ joint health, one about little mania wrestling that you have to leave the game open another window close that window and go back to the game before that ad will close
Newbie
New to this platform and I enjoy playing. Would like to see some added features such as tournaments, opponents stats, and a message box allowing me communicate to my opponent.
Keeps kicking me out
Things were okay and just recently, in the middle of a game, it says Game Over with the opponent winning and no points on the scoreboard. I’m done wasting my time.
Multiplayer needs to be FIXED
This company has a lot of great games to play online with family and friends, but have to say this it the weakest for performance and options. Unlike their crazy 8’s game that lets the user/ inviting person customize this one doesn’t. Most irritating is with four persons it only allows for ONE CARD DRAW! Insane and not standard so the game drags on a terrible long time. 4 person canasta should use TWO DECKS two cards per draw and Two canasta to go out. It NEEDS To BE FIXED! Otherwise ok game for two players. But disappointing as my siblings and I had hoped to play together… but not until it is fixed appropriately for Four.

Constantly Freezes
Over the last year the app has got to where it freezes up mid game. Over the last couple weeks it freezes in the middle of about every online game I play. It really takes the fun out this app that I pay to use. App is updated to the most recent version and iOS is updated to the most recent version also.
App Freezing up every game
I have been playing this Canasta app for years. I consider it the best one I have played. My biggest complaint the app freezes up on me just about every game I play on it. This needs to be addressed.
Canasta
Can’t pickup multiple cards at once and place them down. The animation gets stuck often and you have to absolutely place the card exactly where they want it. Other games allow nearby. This game is more frustrating than fun.
Troubles
I love playing Canasta! However have a lot of trouble with this app! Get down to laying all cards out, and then it won’t let me discard my last card! It’s so frustrating. Then the clock runs out, and all the cards come back to my hand allowing my partner to go out on their turn!! Also, we will be in the middle of playing and it ends our game.

Play nearly every day and always find it an excellent online game!
Buggie
App constantly freezing and locking up my phone. Going to delete before it’s too late. Be careful.

Like the title says, game routinely freezes. I exit game an must close the app to get it to continue playing. Today is worse than usual because I can’t even get one round in, had to close app an restart three times before being so disgusted that I gave up.

Fix is in
Crazy how game plays out. When you are winning too much; they put you on a losing streak. You are given ZERO wilds and bad cards. The other gets amazing cards. It's set up. Why not have an honest dealt game???

No coins needed. Just good fun!
Very few games these days allow just playing for enjoyment without needing coins or life's. None of that is needed here. I'm learning a new card game and enjoying all of it. My only complaint (minor) is the text is pretty small in the instructions but it doesn't stop me from playing! Thanks for making a game without all of that other nonsense!
Too many long ads!
I’m looking for a better game with fewer ads. This is annoying.
Soooo—-where are Rules?
I am sure I’ll learn the where, why and what of this game eventually. There are hints as errors are made, but I would like perhaps a screen pop up with a better explanation whenever I do something wrong. I think when you make a canasta it should be more clear on the board. It’s a great game to learn.

Update: MY UPDATE RATING IS BASED ON THE UNFAIR WAY THAT LITE GAMES CANASTA HANDLES FALSE CLAIMS FROM DISGRUNTLED PLAYERS WHO HARRASS AND DEGRADE AND PLAY DISRUPTIVELY SLOW, THEN REPORT THEIR OPPONENTSTO LITE GAMES! Cant they see who the disruptive player is when they are constantly reporting other players? Lite games banned me when they should have banned the disruptive player. I began playing here and left a few years back because of the same players who constantly harass (create degrading profile names against other player players) and especially me because I am a very good player and have been playing canasta online for two decades. So I left. I recently in February came back and quickly went to the top; only to be degraded and harassed by this same player. That player indicated that they were reporting me all month long. She continued to harass and I have complained to lite games about her too. But my main complaint was that the blocking of other players does not work. They responded that they were working on it ; a known issue. They gave me a work around that does not work. I played several games all this month and was at the top ; but the other player just kept saying to lite games and the room, that I am cheating, THERE IS NO WAY TO CHEAT. I AM A GOOD PLAYER. PERIOD. BUT THIS PERSON GOT ME BANNED IN THE LAST DAYS OF MARCH ( this month) SO NOW THAT PLAYER GETS THE SATISFACTION IF BEING ON TOP BECAUSE LITE GAMES BANNED MY ACCOUNT! I received a reply from the developers. I was most definitely not expecting a reply and am quite impressed that, not only did I receive a reply; they also said they would pass on the idea. Their reply with their response showed that they understood my frustration and my feedback and are taking initiative to make a real effort. Way to go! Thanks!
Not recording wins
I just got done playing Canasta and my online opponent quit the game. I was not credited with the win.
Annoying ads
This app has the most annoying ads of any game. They stop midway through the ad and don’t go any further. Plus the bugs aren’t fixed.
Crashes and Cannot Connect for Matches
The game started out nice but have reinstalled a few times because it crashes or failed to deal the deck, or won’t connect to profiles for matches. Would love to see it working properly. The ads are of course annoying. But won’t pay for a game that isn’t working.
CHEATERS for stats!
I love this game. I pay for no ads and it runs fabulous now! BUT you really need to fix the CHEATERS! Can u not fix where they get no points for a win? Or possibly delete their profile? Is so FRUSTRATING for honest competitive players! CHERYL/ CHIC is the worst offender! Please do something!
Glitchy
Sometimes this game just glitches. It freezes, or suddenly says that I or my opponent have left the game when we did not. Fix your app folks!!!
My partner is terrible!
My partner plays poorly. Often, with a full card count, he discards a card that would give us a canasta. With a full card count, he discards a card enabling the opposition to pickup the deck easily- they already have a meld and the deck is not frozen. When the opponents are laying down all their meld and going downtown one card, he keeps all his cards putting down nothing - and they go out. I really would like to see what was left I. His hand - but that would probably infuriate me further….thanks for listening.
Too many ads
Game is fun but the ads are super long and contain up to 4 screens which causes you to be booted from the game.
Canasta. Table freeze is aggravating.
I enjoy the game when it works. I am currently playing the free version. I like playing online against others. Sadly, much too often the screen goes back to the card table after the ads between hands, but I cannot see any cards for my hand and cannot play. If I stay with the game, I can see my time run out and others “light up” for their turn a few time. Eventually the game just tells me that I have forfeited since I am not connected to the game. Very aggravating for me and probably for those that I am playing with.

Great Game But has porn commercials
I have 2 small children in my home that use my phone to play games. While I was playing canasta a porn advertisement (Jemu) popped up. Totally inappropriate. I emailed the developer but have not received a response so im adding my review here. I hope it gets someone’s attention
Minor problem
I love this app but it kicks me out when I am playing online and I win. I would like to see stats.
Too many glitches
1 in 5 games will glitch and not deal the new hand. Resulting in a loss because player cannot play subsequent hand. Occasionally game will say player left when it’s not the case. If player time runs out with known players, computer plays round for both players. Too many glitches.

I’m so frustrated by your ads that lock and you are u able to get out and continue to play game ! Why is this happening? The latest ad is for Candy Crush. What gives ? I’ve deleted other games I play everyday for this problem and other problems. I will delete this game if the problem is not fixed!!! Months later now 10/14/25 Why such long commercials? And if you DARE to touch to close the commercials before they are over the game FREEZES! I’m really hating my favorite game that I play everyday for 1-2 hours…..but then apparently you don’t care to fix the problems 11/03/25. Still not fixed ! Don’t you care about your customers? GEEZ 12/07/25. Once more…you don’t fix problems. Ads don’t close so you are forced to start game again. Not sure if am really playing real people on line
Update: I was playing, and it was my turn to move after my partner met the 90 point requirement. However, the app is still reading that the 90 minute requirement has not been made so I couldn’t proceed playing and it was so annoyed because of that. I really hated to leave the game when I have a good partner as well. I hope that’s only a once in a million glitch . Initial: Well, i accidentally drop my phone under my chair while in the middle of the game and i saw the machine made a move for me when i didn’t make it in time for a move….lol. Also, what’s the weird names of the other players.

I can’t seem to be able to get it to join or load an online game theses last 3 days has happened before sad because it’s the best online canasta app

Annoying ads!
I love playing this app and I don’t mind watching ads on apps, but the ads on this app have become so annoying! They just started playing these new video ads that are so long and freeze up on you, and the only way to get back to your game is to click get and back out of it. Fix the ads and I will update my rating.
Why?
I love playing this game, but why is my partner always holding on to its card and not playing on melds, using it wild cards to freeze deck when they could of been used to help us score. Also it always gives me 3 wild cards when melt is 50 and never any wild cards when melt is 120 especially if our score is higher. Please fix this bugs!!! becoming very
So glitchy
Fun game but dang, after almost every round it completely shuts the app down and the game doesn’t count for a win or a loss. Frustrating half the time you can’t even finish a game before it shuts off! Download something else if you actually want to play.

When I first played this game there were a few ads but over time the ad length increased and you cannot play an single hand with out an ad coming up. This has become too annoying for me to continue to play this game.
Great buuuut
I love this game. It was recommended by a family member and it’s super fun. But every so often I click the app and it opens the loading screen only for it to revert back to my phones Home Screen? I keep having to delete and reinstall the game and I don’t know if that’s a problem on my end but it’s getting annoying.
