I cannot emphasize enough how much I hate this bank…. And the list continues to grow on a regular basis. They put holds on my checks for weeks at a time, they don’t even accept transfers from one bank account to another same day. I did a Zelle transfer from my primary bank TO this bank and they returned it. Only reason I have to use them is because of my HELOC loan which they make it sooooo hard to take out my own money AND pay back MY OWN money that the frustration and inconvenience has been so bad that I’m doing a CASH advance from a credit card to pay this off and be rid of them. On top of that, they wouldn’t even reimburse me the annual fee of $25 after returning my check 3 times. It wasn’t about the month, it was the ethical gesture that would have made a difference. They said sorry it’s too high for them to credit back. Run… RUN…. I historically don’t do business with banks and this catastrophe has cemented my stance as to why.
Zelle option
Overall, the app is smooth and works great. Day to day functionality gets me what I need. However there is no way to link Zelle with the app and it’s extremely frustrating when trying to make online transactions or bill payments. If this was fixed I would easily give a five star!
It’s a downgrade, not an upgrade
When the mobile banking app was updated on or around 9/1/22, it went from an average app to a poor app. The primary annoyance is that almost everything—especially transaction data—is rendered onscreen in super-large font size. This causes overlapping information as well as forcing information to be displayed in vertical string of characters. It’s difficult to determine, because of the problems mentioned above, if there are any improvements to the previous version’s clunky navigation.

The pages in each accounts are completely all confusing and appears cluttered. Please change back to the previous APP settings.
New version needs bug fixes!
The coustomer service I get from Vectra is always 10/10 that’s why I rate it so well, but the app is such a pain. It gives me an error code when I try to log in with biometrics, and now it’s saying invalid credentials when I try to log in manually. I know my password is not invalid. The update has just been awful, too many bugs!
Not up to previous mobile banking software quality.
The camera/photo function of the “new” mobile banking is not as good as the previous version. Check images are much smaller and more difficult to read and verify photo quality. My first check deposit with the new software took three photo attempts; the first two stating the amount entered did not agree with the check photo although I was able to confirm that it was correct. Having deposited dozens of checks using the former software without any such issues I rated this version two stars.
Alerts
Looks beautiful and easy to use. Disappointed that there aren’t any account alerts - ie, balance threshold - to set up. That’s a huge oversight.

After the most recent update, I can no longer do an internal transfer of money from my checking to pay my credit card. Why don’t you test before you release updates?

New format.
New format update made it look and feel like it’s from the 90s. I’ve miss transferred money multiple times because of the new system. Luckily it’s between my own accounts but I can imagine it would happen if I used the payment options with my other accounts from here. Also pulling up my transaction history now is cumbersome at best. Usually not loading in my history it will only show my balances. Kind of want to change bank accounts because of it.
Problem with picture
Took 3 times to get picture accepted.
App down for three days
My app is down with an error code of 1003. No one seems to know why or when it will be fixed.
Constantly under maintenance
I can’t tell you how many times I’m out on a weekend night trying to check my balance before picking up a dinner tab and the app is unavailable because of “maintenance”Completely unprofessional.

New update is a downgrade
App works fine for what is needed, but the new update doesn't even feel like a mobile app anymore, it's like they made it function more like a web page. Every function use to be short and to the point and aesthetically appealing to where you could quickly see what you needed and could instantly accomplish the task you entered the app for. Now it feels like you're navigating a full webpage to get anything done. The point of a mobile app is usually instant access for on the go people. The new design is all in the same size font, it's not instantly distinguishable for what you're looking at, you have to scroll through things that are spaced out with a lot of empty space in-between whereas it use to have it all condensed in one full view. It use to be more visually appealing, but again, it's as if they turned it into a webpage, went way too formal with the layout.

New “improved app” difficulty
I continue to have difficulty with this revised app. A couple of days ago I opened the app and received a notification to click on a button to take me to the App Store to download the new app. I clicked the button, it took me to the App Store where it informed me the app could not be found. The next day my old VectraBank app updated so at least I can get into the app but now I no longer have facial recognition. I only have a personal account with Vectra, no business account so I do not need to reset up my business account as I have read in other reviews. I use several other financial institutions apps and this is by far the most frustrating.

New development?
This app has never been easy to use but just logged in and see that I can no longer see my account transactions. There’s an option to ‘export transactions’. I want to be able to just skim through my transactions, not generate more crap on my phone. This will probably be a deal breaker for me with this bank.
