The best London train app
Definitely the best app out there. I like that this is a dedicated London Tube app with no more. Simplicity that works superbly!
Good until you really need it
This app has always been good for routing, but unfortunately, their recent approach to advertisement is an absolute disaster when you are trying to make split-second decisions. The app now forces you to watch lengthy (around 1min) videos, which when trying to make decisions mid-journey with seconds to spare, is less than ideal. I know they want you to pay, but I only use it once every now and again. Anyway, out of frustration I asked ChatGPT, and this app can now be installed :)
Cool
This app is really cool too look at and it’s very useful, however, why would a travel app even have ads?! Still tho, good app👍
Can’t get in
I used to love this app. Helped me a lot around London. Now can’t get into it. Starts with advertisements that I can’t bypass. Very annoying

It is a good application but after they introduced adverts it got really annoying. And you can’t get rid of them, you need to wait until it finishes.

Unusable
Completely unusable. Having a tube map in your pocket means you want to refer to something quickly. You simply can’t use this quickly, you have to wait for ages for an ad to load/complete. I am uninstalling.
Quandary
Initially it wasn’t particularly intuitive but I persevered and ultimately found it very helpful.
Utterly unusable with adverts
I get the idea of upsell, but making it UTTERLY UNUSABLE by mandating a 30-second ad upon opening the app EVERY TIME feels like I’m being used. Think I’ll stick with a paper map now.
A good app ruined
Whilst I understand that it costs to develop an application, but unless you are updating so regularly, the main work is done. Having downloaded when it first came out and played with both free and paid versions, the baseline app has now just got so bad with adverts, no countdown, no way to silence them and so frequent as to make the app unusable even for a single journey. I’m now an abandoning this in favour of others that are not just focussed on using me to make money.
Ads freeze my screen
I am so fed up with paid ads being rammed down my throat on this App. I want at a glance info when I’m travelling not WiFi connectivity issues and freezing ads!
App ruined
Used to be a great app when needed to plan a journey or check the best tube line. Now you are forced to watch long ads which make it no longer usable. Some adds are fine but these are far too long
Quick and efficient
Well developed app that does the basics well.
Ads - why? I paid for lifetime subscription
Why is this app giving me over 1 minute of ads when I open it? I have paid around £20 for a lifetime subscription. Developers - haven’t I paid you enough? Not good.
No landscape
I have been used this app for many years on my iPad but suddenly it won’t switch into landscape mode. Fine if you’re using it on a phone but not on a tablet, why the change?

Not useable - constant ads
I used this app for like 10+ years. Just simple want a picture of a tube map.. thats all.. I just want to open it and use it for 3 seconds and close it, but now its just riddled with 45 sec ads, simply not useable anymore, it loads and loads and doesnt work 1/5 very sad to see
Good for a third-party app
It has bugs (e.g., you keep getting errors for things that they've already changed), but it does routes and stuff quite well. Of course, it should be pointless as the government should fund an integrated transport app. Until then, this is very useful.

The ads are incredibly annoying popping all the time when you’re trying to find your route.

This is absolutely the best. I’ve had it for years and it is consistently good. Simple interface and always up to date.
What are you doing
Constants ads, especially when you first go into the app and you're in a hurry. But today, an ad to say my account had been compromised and click on this link. An add for a phishing site. Done with it and loaded an alternative.

Adverts JFC
Adverts are beyond ridiculous. Course the drive is to make you pay but trying to tap out of it is a complete pain. You shouldn't be forced to end up in the App Store. It's just a tube map, TFL is far better.
Works fine, aggressive ads
All the functions work as expected but ads have gotten dteadily more aggressive over time. Replacing with TFL Go
Very helpful
Very helpful for a recent London trip. Worked well offline and I really like that some of the major landmarks were included in routes in addition to stations.
Un-usable (Too many adverts)
Recently it’s been un-usable. Every time I open the app, there’s a video advert that I can’t close or skip. Once the video advert finishes playing, there’s still no button to exit the video. Have now deleted this app.
Very handy
This is very handy if you don't know london well!
Loads ads almost immediately
...which is unacceptable when I'm on roaming data. Use the official tfl app instead.
No Elizabeth Line?
This App is helpful and I’ve used it for years, but the new Elizabeth line hasn’t been added. I’m surprised as it has been opened for almost 2 years now.

My name is Bailey and I have travelled the whole world this app tube map helped me so well, walking through the tube station and mostly riding on the tube it’s helped me so well and letting me let loose and know exactly where to go and when to get off the tube. Ads are terrible
The app now forces you to watch around 60-120 seconds of ads before you can actually access the map. I guess that most people who use this app will, like me, just need to occasionally check their route. Ad such, the ads have completely ruined the usability of the app - at least you could previously view the map before the ads kicked in. Have deleted and will find an alternative.
Great work, lads!
I'm an Australian, and when I'm in your lovely town, I was suggested this app when riding the rattler and tackling the rails. Mate, this app is bonza! It not only told me what lines to use when drunk, it made it all super bright and easy to read when I'm deeply immersed in my advanced tipsy stages. This app is up there next to my "several things to kill you in Oz" app and my "Sheila's are top stuff, mate" app.

It should be interactive plus one should be able to plan their journey using this map, with the attached buses options; like how the Toronto Transit Commission does.
Makes Navigating London a Breeze
I found myself coming back to this app again and again despite also having the TfL app. This one is much more intuitive and I love the clean interface. It gives multiple options for connecting which is helpful if one line requires you to wait, or you need a specific line with multiple stops for different people. The offline options are especially helpful when on the underground as there’s no cell service.
Too Many Ad’s
This app was great but now if you don’t pay it’s shocking it was fine with just one ad at some point during your search but now it’s multiple ads you can’t get round without watching it, but three iterations of the same product followed by two or three others

Good App but very distasteful Ads
I am getting a pestering array of Ads every so many times I use the free version. These adds are not a typical banner at the bottom but are quite intrusive and disruptive. I used in 2019 to visit London in the same fashion but didn’t experience this Ads onslaught. I get the impression the developer is wants users so annoyed to buy the premium service. I am only visiting for 5 days!! Com’on developer, be a little nicer!!!!

Used to be good but ads are now impossible to close, you can’t find the exit button which makes the app unusable unfortunately.
"Tube" or would rather be lost.

Too many adds
For a casual traveler, not wanting the paid version, there are just too many 30 second adds. Citymapper is much better.
Amazing but
Great app for a non-resident, good for route finding and gives relatively accurate times; when connected to the Internet you can see line conditions as well. However the app would be much improved by the developer being less concerned with presenting 'vote for this app' screens every time the app is switched in or out if focus, or at least some way to disable it. It severely reduces the usability of the app
