Early 2000’s back
Mapquest returns
Very awkward and useless
No public transportation directions, and no landscape orientation
Downloaded in Support
Glad you are standing up to the Drump but please give us Canadians the ability to set kilometres as the default in the app!
Zionist owned
Mapquest’s parent company, System1, is headed by a massive Zionist and regularly donates to Israel. No amount of cute avatars will make up for the shame of supporting genocide.
So-So
When I used it this morning, it didn’t tell WHAT street to turn right on only to turn right. Also, could not get the satellite view working
The real map
I had honestly not looked at Mapquest in years. The recent refusal to change the name of locations based on politics brought me back. The functions are great and I’m already a part of their Beta version for voice commands. Win win!
Pass.
Couldn’t find a Starbucks I was sitting at.
No Metric System
Need to add metric system meters and kilometres for Canada and the rest of the world. Would also like to see more cute characters to choose from
Where’s Metric?
Was happy Mapquest was not going to capitulate to nonsense, but only had miles. I have no idea what miles are and I couldn’t find a way to change it to kilometres. Had to delete the app.
Needs work but I will use it
Nice to have an alternative to those other spy-maps. A few bugs though. On FordSync, metres are displayed as kilometres. You can’t stop navigation from the car nav screen. Have to go to the mobile device. Can’t pull up stops like Gas stations on the car nav. Version on the phone is better. When voice commands come, and you’re listening to the radio, radio volume shuts off and doesnt come back on. It’s Sync4. But map looks nice and it’s good to have an alternative. Still not sure who is getting the data.
Awesome
Mapquest was THE thing to have for us gen-x internet old timers. Gladly downloaded their app to use after they didn’t back down and roll over like all those other scared, weak companies did with the childish name-changing, too terrified to stand up to a grade-school, incontinent bully. Way to go, Mapquest!
Mislabeling
Interesting how they mislabeled Palestine as “Israel” I was excited to use the app but I guess I’ll just buy a paper map.
Hélas!
J’aimerais beaucoup utiliser MapQuest comme outil de navigation principal, parce que j’aime certaine de ses options mais malheureusement il n’a pas d’interface française.
Proper places names
Gulf of Mexico! Lake Ontario! YYYYAAAAASSSSS
Bad for Italy
doesn’t search Italian street names well
Wrong direction.
I just downloaded this as an alternative to Google Maps and it directed me to do a u turn on a major road while ignoring the safe and easy cloverleaf. I am not sure this is safe to use.
Lake Ontario
So far, the app works great! Gets me from point A to B with no problems. The unicorn is adorable. But the main reason I downloaded this app, because they kept Lake Ontario as is! I deleted the other map apps because of it.
Great with lakes bad with palestine
So close to being a good replacement for Google Maps. Nope.
Accurate titles for bodies of water
Correct geography is refreshing to see!
Downloaded because it still shows Lake Ontario, BUT…
This app blows compared to Apple Maps. There’s no way I will be able to switch over.. They seriously have advertisements when you try to get directions and have to pay a monthly fee to get rid of them. Not to mention the compatibility with car play smh.. The app is a certified downgrade. I’d give zero stars if I could.
Great app
I find this navigation app superior to Google Maps and apple! It show the true name of geographical locations such as the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario! Easy to use, personalized and accurate.
En Français SVP
Vous n’avez pas en français donc je ne prendrai pas votre application cordialement bonne journée
10/10 no notes
Of all the maps I’ve used, this one is the one I respect the most.
Found Lake Ontario but could not find Palestine
Do better
Didnt know Mapquest was still a thing
In response to the arbitrary renaming of bodies of water and Googles enablement of that bad behavior, I downloaded this app. Don’t see any reason to ever go back to Google Maps. So far, this provides everything I need in a navigation app!
Imaginary naming for the Persian Gulf
I’ve just installed MapQuest to test it and seen that the Persian Gulf was wrongly named as an imaginary “Arabian Gulf” one. This is a strong signal of lack of geographic naming rigour, which is paradoxal for a a geographic app, so I am uninstalling it.
True Americans
Not a boot licker pedo protecting company
Where is Palestine
Missing entire countries
