You Need This
This is one of my go to apps on my phone. It makes documenting a trip incredibly easy. On a recent tour I was on, I showed about half the folks and they jumped on it. Some of them loved being able to geolocate their pictures, others loved being able to record notes about specific locations, others loved that they don’t have to spend days at home trying to remember what photos were of to make their trip book. We use it to keep friends and family updated on our travels. The we look back to answer the “have we been here?” and “where did we do?” questions. Basically, you can make it work however you want to use it.
Appalling...
What a nonsense. Data gathering scammers - deleted after getting half way through the intrusive questions. It's a map but with your personal data if you choose to sign up . Don't do it....

I am using this App for the last many years. This App is continuously evolving and getting better. I love this App. The latest version is really good with more options and functionality. One of the best.
Loved this app, NOT the update!!
What have you done to this app? It is torturous to use. The link to the photos takes forever!! You cannot sort by favorites any more. You have to be offline to save your draft posts or else you will have to publish it before starting a new post. You have to tap on each photo to tag it for date and location. This is so cumbersome and I hope you initiate some “fixes” or I will have to abandon it even though I have paid for the premium just a few days before the update. I feel like we have gone backwards here. Grrrrrrrrrr—frustrating!!!
Not an improvement
I used to love this app. It was fun and easy to use. Now, it is clunky and not customizable. I especially don’t like the lack of the ability to long press the icon, and go right to a new waypoint. also, I am not a fan of 24 hour time. I can’t find a way to use a 12 hour clock. Please change these two things. Thank you.
Fun way to not feel alone when traveling alone
I have used this app for two trips now. I often travel alone so my friends and family appreciate keeping tabs on me. Plus, I feel less alone when they comment on my waypoints.
Doesn’t seem to work
Open the app, go to My maps, tap “Add a map” , give a name etc, tap “Save”, nothing happens. Close the form, app seems to be doing something but then nothing happens. Gave up after 15 minutes trying.
Great app made greater with just some tweaks
I have been using this app for years but mainly for road trips. It’s great in so many ways. Just a few requests though! 1. Would love to be able to enable a road trip mode, where the line between waypoints follow the road they are placed on, not as the crow flies. 2. Would love an auto waypoint when the app is open. To save waypoints every 10 minutes or something. This will improve our road trip experience and we can concentrate more on the trip. 3. On the web version, those you send a link to can’t see the map.
Difficult to scroll.
Difficult and very annoying scrolling while reading blogs. When trying to scroll and read the app will automatically minimize the blog to the pictures. Developers need to fix the sensitivity.
Minder overzichtelijk
App is recent vernieuwd en sindsdien is het een heel gepuzzel geworden om iemands tour te tracken. Je ziet bv niet meer zo goed waar je sinds de laatste login was gebleven en moet dan eerst door tijdlijn scrollen om dat op te zoeken. Goed dat er aan de app wordt ontwikkeld, maar jammer dat het in dit geval ten koste is gegaan van het gebruikersgemak.
Love it!
Been using trackmytour for 11 years. It’s quick and easy. I’m not on social media so it’s a wonderful way to share my trips with family and friends. I do wish I was able post videos.
Can’t log in
Created an account but can’t sign in.
Used to work better
Haven’t used this in about a year but before you could add all the pics later and it would automatically know the date, time and location for the waypoint. Not the case anymore. You also cannot comment on a specific pic/waypoint. The only option is to “like” it. Other than that I like the app.
No support
App works good but after upgrading to premium I had an issue. Contacted them and immediately got an auto response say they would contact me as soon as possible. I guess soon is longer than a week and a half because still haven’t heard from them.

We have used this app a few times now, we were a bit slow to get the hang of it, but now I find it really good. We will use it again at the end of the month, we are heading East for about 3 months. I like how we can give family and friends the link so they can follow us and I can send photos for them to look at. Also it's good to look back at the trips we have done in the past

Hard work
All the 5 star reviews are from some years back , since your upgrade , they are lucky to get even a 1 star . Just please take this on board as this newer version is not as user friendly. The previous version was a breeze to use , I had paid for a life subscription but doubt that I will use TMT again
Love this app but needs a little tweaking
I truly love this app. I used it for a recent long business trip so my boys could track where I was around the world with pictures, and they loved it, as did some friends I sent it to. But there were several times I wished I could post multiple photos or a video at the same waypoint. That would be a great improvement!
Only one photo allowed per waypoint
We liked the app at first. But then we found out that they only allow one photo per waypoint - on purpose. Interesting decision. It makes the app useless for our trip, as we would like to share our tour and of course pictures with family and friends.
Could add more functionality. Good start.
A good start.
Great travel app
TrackMyTour allows us to post photos and an ongoing map of our trips so that we can keep in touch with our family without having to call them. I use the map at the end of the trip to show everyone where we’ve been. It’s fun and very easy to use.
New Update is a total disaster
I have been using this app from day one when it came out. This update however is a nightmare. It’s totally unusable since I have lost the usual one page overview of multiple days on one page where I was able to see at least one image and a few lines of test as well as the date. No I constantly haven’t scroll and look for entries. Such a mess. I am going to leave this mess today. Shame on the developers.
Waypoints
I’m loving this app as I travel around Australia. I think the only think I want added at the moment is a waypoint called family/friends when you are parked up with family as that isn’t really covered by ‘camp’ or any others. Maybe the ability to put a waypoint from this date to this date in the heading, as in when staying somewhere for more than 1 day? I still love the app, it helps me keep track of my travels. Thank you
Too expensive
Not worth £12 I’d give it 5 stars if it was cheaper If I knew this was going to be permanently available on the App Store, I might consider forking out £12 to pay for it, but there’s a growing trend of paid-for apps disappearing from the store and no refunds forthcoming.
Maps
The maps do not work all the time. I had to constantly put in manually for location. This can be a pain as the rest of the app is great. Also can only use one pic at a time. Can't import pics. Other than that I like it. Just needs improvements.
Wonderful Records
We have been using TrackMyTour for several years and we find it to be a wonderful way to keep in contact with our friends and family. We love being able to go back years and see a recap of our past trips. Our next adventure is trying to turn our trips into books! Keep up the good work.
Not user friendly
This app is very difficult to use
Great for lots of stop offs
Used this for a trip around the UK last year, and enjoyed the auto location features even when offline. My technophobe dad is currently using it while touring Europe and he has had no problems. Time and date conversions on waypoints can be confusing in different time zones. Finding private trips on the app can be tricky.
Fantastic app
I have used it over our four month trip and found it excellent. Friends and family loved it as a great way to follow our trip.
Best blog/log
Track my Tour is my favourite app. We are traveling round the world by yacht and I can upload a post in the middle of the Pacific with a photo and gps location. It is simple and easy to use and is not a chore unlike our traditional blog. On arrival at wifi I just upload all the posts. The link to Facebook makes it even better. Great App

Great App for Travelers
I have only been using the app for a couple a weeks, but I’m really enjoying it. It offers a great way to keep your friends and family advised of your adventures.
Useless
There’s no instructions. I can’t find out how to mark my position on the map and I can’t find out how to start a trip. I’ll be deleting this as it’s useless to me.
Excellent app
Great to use for keeping friends and family abreast of our holiday movements and photos. Intuitive and generally easy to use.
Do not update this app!!!!
The latest version crashes on saves and updates. Though the entries do get saved, restarting the app after every entry is very annoying.
Not Happy. Now I’m happy
I bought the app several years ago to get full use of features. Now they upgraded and want me to pay an annual fee to use it, and took away the features I already paid for! Updated! App creator replied that since I paid for the subscription I get a lifetime subscription and showed me how to update it. So happy because I really like this app for our road-trips. Friends and family all want pics and updates as to where we are, and with this app they can follow us without me sending out dozens of emails.
Unknown error
I keep getting this error and I have yet to create a single map. Unknown why I get unknown error...it's simply not known.
Love this app
Easy to use to track tours, even when offline it stores the data to upload later, great for remembering where you've been and thoughts about places while you're there, especially on long travels. Share and keep friends up to date with where you are

Great app with great customer support.
We’ve used this app to chronicle many long cross country adventures. We paid to be life members which we felt was a deal and affords us to post many photos with each waypoint. Each journal remains available on the site which allows us to go back to review names of places or timing of past events. We wouldn’t think of bothering to switch to some other app; plus as we said in our title, the customer service is terrific. Katy and Mike
Very confusing App
I don't get this App. If it is supposed to track your itinerary it fails miserably.
Fantastic
This app is a twofold winner. Family and friends can stay informed on your trip and it also can act as a journal/diary for your trip. I would love to see a print or save as option so we can have a hard copy of our journal/diary to keep forever!
