What people like
- Fun concept for tracking travel with photos.
- Simple interface makes it easy to use.
- Great way to visualize where you have been.
What they complain about
- Only scans recent photos, not your whole library.
- Photos often fail to save or show up.
- Expensive paywall hides most world maps and states.
- Missing many countries like Caribbean islands and microstates.
I Love it! Adding suggestions:
There's a few places missing including the European microstates like Andorra, monaca, Vatican, and San Marino.
No Korea?
Really???
Please fix
Would be nice if it showed the whole world the Caribbean not on there
Multiple photo sources
I want to use photos stored on Google or Apple cloud not just my phone camera storage.
It’s actually works
It’s my top one favorite photo in a map app
Great idea but missing 27 countries and have 10 regions that aren’t countries. Yes I went through it
Super cool app and love the UI but it is disappointing that parts of the world (such as all of the carribean) is not on here. Also there are a couple instances they have a location of “not visited” even though it’s pulling pictures of it.
Really cool idea
I love the idea of this app it’s super cool I hope it gets more popular
Not great, wish I don’t purchase the explore pack
It picks up wrong counties and also when I click on 3 dots at the top nothing happens so it’s not working. I want a whole map of US showing the counties and it is not letting me view that
Welp
Of course there’s a catch. Couldn’t just be a fun map I use during work travel to show my kids. I mean at least there’s no ads that I can see so far.
Can you add French departments pls
Better
Terrible
App has not worked for several months now. I’ve reached out to developers and haven’t heard a single thing from them. It’s FRUSTRATING that you pay for the lifetime use of the app but then they stop updating and the app become obsolete. Honest definition of robbery don’t waste your time downloading
Nice app!
I adore this app, great to see what I was up to in different places. However, is there a way to import your OneDrive photos? I’ve been to different places on old phones and would like to see that too
Don’t find all locations
Photos from Apple knows all locations, but Photo Map ignores lots of pictures. I have more than 15.000 pictures on my phone and I don‘t want to check all by myself.
Kida bad :/
Well, this app is fun but the explorer pack is expensive so if u are dev read this!!

Don't bother downloading
The app wants you to pay 8.99 for anything useful. You can see the USA and the places you have been, but not the individual state without paying. Same for other countries. Waste of time.
Add more countries
I love this app and the maps it has. You should add more country maps like Morocco, Thailand, and Uzbekistan since they are great places to travel!
Map of China
There’s no Taiwan and South Islands 😒
Can't get pics to fit
I can't get my pics to fit in any state where both my husband and I are in the shot. If a small portion of us has to be cut, that's ok...but hardly any of us ends up in the shot but there aren't any instructions on how to ensure that we are able to fit well. Not sure if my pics are too big or what...
Just needs a homescreen widget
I live this app and how simple it is, the only thing is that I would love to be able to put it on my homescreen and keep track of it that way as well.
Why
Why the money
Needs just a bit more
I like the app and bought the extras pack but it doesn’t include hardly any of the Caribbean islands or the Azores. Really need to make it “complete” map of the world then it would get my 5 stars.
Missing countries
While I overall love this app, it’s missing the majority of the island countries in the Caribbean. is there a plan to remedy that?
Awesome app
Awesome app, i just had a question, i just bought the premium and i was wondering if there is a way to put more then one photo on a state or country
Doesn’t work
Keep finding photos forever and not working. Useless.
Aruba?
Would give 5 stars but Aruba is missing. Please add
Missing country
Need to add Singapore

Morning
Scans your photos for location
It scans you recent photos for location and you can’t just select from you photos yourself. The scanning will take ages if you have lots of pictures in your camera roll. I actually could never get it to entirely load even on fast WiFi and letting it sit for 30+ min. Why can’t it just not scan the photos and allow us to select what we want? Or have that as an option? I already knew what photos I wanted to use for each location I don’t want help selecting them! Plus my location is not on for all of my photos so then it wasn’t detecting the places I’ve actually been. There’s no good way to do that just let us do it our selves! I was disappointed as I liked the general idea but the execution was not good.
Add maps.
Add the maps of Chile, Colombia, Georgia and Kenya.
Witzige Idee !
Die App gefällt mir sehr gut, da ich sie aber zur Dokumentation meiner Trips nutzen möchte fehlt mir eine Timeline.
great
I love this app
Doesn’t work
Love the concept but can’t get my photos to save

It’s great but doesn’t work for me
For some reason it will show up on the map like when I put the photo in and click the checkmark it doesn’t show up on the map itself so it’s good but just doesn’t work.
big fan
obsessed with uploading different pictures and looking at my map. I wish the other maps were free
Does not save self chosen photos
Even though the Location data is correct on the photos, it does not see it in the list to pick a photo . Also when I choose a photo from my library, it will not save on the map. Great concept though.
Countries missing
I quite like this app, although it needs a bit of work and doesn’t seem to show all the photos on my phone for a particular country. But where is Andorra? Or San Marino? Or Momaco? Or Vatican City? All on the continent of Europe. I’ve just got back from San Marino - how do I mark it on the map?
Have to buy the in app purchase to make it useful
Doesn’t do anything unless you purchase the full pack. It only downloaded 2 photos from the 5000+ on my phone.
A favorite app!
This is one of my favorite apps. I think of it every time I take a road trip, and strive to snag a new county whiner possible, to “fill in” the map. It’s a really well done app. Highly recommended.
Useless
It basically only scans your “Recents” folder. I have 70,000 photos synced from my computer and this didn’t include any of them. So it shows I’ve only been to 2 states when in fact I’ve been to 30+ and several countries.
